I hired Team Six to pack and move my mother's items from her home to a storage facility. They sent 2 men to do the work that knew what they were doing (which is why there is not just 1 star); then they sent 3 more that could care less of what they packed. The items were put into storage with boxed throughout the storage facility, around the furniture, under furniture and on top of delicate items. Most boxes were not marked, not even which room they came out of. Some boxes just had items thrown in without any wrapping. Powder makeup was thrown in with one box, without being wrapped. That box had her hair dryer, her new waterpik, hair brushes, etc. All bathroom items. The powder was not sealed or even closed, so it opened up and everything in the box was ruined, especially all of the electrical appliances. I called the company and told them what happened. The man I spoke to appeared to care, and said someone would call back. However, it is now a week later and I still never received a call. I would NOT recommend this company. read more

It's not common these days, but this group exceeded my expectations! First move that the team was on time, respectful, courteous and professional. I am a consumer who got a legitimate quote from this company and a review of that business encounter was to left for others through this Yelp review venue to know of my displeasure with the additional charges, such as the 4% credit card fee and highest quote I received. When my daughter moved to Scottsdale in January Moving Team Six helped unloading her Pod and setting up her furniture. They were so helpful and courteous. When she moved out this month, I naturally used them again. Alturo, Niko, and Jaedyn was the team sent this time and again the guys were knowledgeable on filling the Pod so that it was properly balanced, wrapped all the furniture, taking apart her canopy bed and moved all items efficiently with care. After a Facebook post looking for a moving company I decided to go with these guys thinking that they were a military and veteran owned business. It wasn't till after I had already made the commitment and book the date I realized that they give some proceeds back to charities and that they are not actually veteran owned like their image creates. The image from their trucks, uniforms, and website logo, etc. they mention zero about what they do for our military and what their mission is. They charged me a $275 one time fee and $215 per hour for three men and did not honor a veterans discount. They trashed my walls and my stairwells in both of my units and gave me a whopping $40 credit off my cash bill of $1650. It wasn't until I brought it to their attention that they decided to cover the wheels in my brand new home to protect the stairs. I also noticed that they stopped at QT for 30 minutes from my house to my new house and did not deduct that from their time. The three gentlemen showed up we're very polite and courteous however, they did not put everything back where it was labeled and supposed to go. In addition they broke several items and dishes and will not reimburse me for the two that are most valuable to me because they said they do not reimburse for anything that is packed by the owner, if they packet they would've covered it. It's unfortunate that there were so many obstacles with this move. The sales guy Josh lacks empathy and has no desire to put the customer experience as a priority. I wanted to be able to support them wholeheartedly but feel that they have lots of room for improvement. Image is one thing but false image is disgusting. read more

I used Moving Team Six for a move from Midtown Phoenix to North Scottsdale. Pricing-wise, they're a little on the expensive end but for a no-hassle experience I was willing to pay extra. There was some miscommunication regarding the time of the move, but they did compensate me for the inconvenience which I appreciate. For the company, I would suggest being very specific when you communicate about the time of the move (avoiding generalities like "morning" and "afternoon" and saying the specific time, like 8am vs 12pm). If you decide to enlist their services for your move (which I would recommend), make sure you confirm the full time and date of the appointment with them. Otherwise, everything was excellent. Movers were great, they were careful with the stuff, nothing was broken. It was completed in a timely manner, they didn't dawdle at all. read more

Sadly, I will not be recommending Moving Team Six. They moved us on July 1, 2022. To make a long story short they dropped our $3400 dollar TV off of the truck when they were unloading at our new house - breaking it completely. We were upset at the time but were told not to worry because we had insurance. However, two later I get a phone call offering us $100 because we hadn't initialed the extra insurance line on the contract which meant that they would give us $.60 a pound for broken items I accept the fact that I should have read every word of the contract even if there are X's by where a person is expected to initial. However, I also would expect that the person presenting the contract would make sure that the stressed-out person in front of them who has been putting their life in boxes is AWARE of what those X marked suggested lines say. When I spoke to the moving team six customer service person, I was told there was nothing that could be done.... The contract is a contract. So sorry.... Well, there is something I can do and that is leave this review - at least to warn people to make sure and read every word because moving team six has their own backs... but not their customers. These guys are completely professional and were down to business as soon as they arrived. On time, no goofing around. They arrived on time, got right to work and moved us under the time we thought it would take. My wife and I moved into our new house this week and we used Moving team six to move everything for us. It was the best idea we have had in a long time! The entire crew was phenomenal and professional. The crew was lead by Ray and rounded out by Art, Kent, Jordan and Dillion. They packed up our 4 bedroom house in a very skilled manner and as quickly as possible. I was amazed at how much they could fit in one truck because of the skill in packing. It was a good thing that we had 2 26ft trucks as we needed it. We had more stuff in our house than we realized! The unload time took about half as long to do, which is normal. They made sure to watch all walls and took care of all of our belongings. My wife and I know that if we had moved ourselves it would have taken double the time. Moving Team Six did an amazing job with my interstate move from Phoenix to Denver. I had had a bad experience with previous movers when going cross-country so I was definitely nervous. Going local was not a mistake. MTS was professional and human from the start, meaning they treated you like a person and with the utmost professionalism. Great response time, customer service, and friendly staff. Did a quick but thorough walk-thru to provide an accurate quote. I liked that people from the loading crew were also the unloading crew. My loading crew had great spirit and worked quickly but took great care in packing my house up. Steve and Adam were fantastic in unloading once I got to Denver. Arrived on time, unpacked quickly. SIMPLY AWESOME!!!! This is overdue but finally got settled and wanted to make sure I provided a review of the best moving related experience I have ever had (and I have moved 28 - yes 28 - times). I decided at the last minute that I did not want to try to load the rental moving truck for my move from Phoenix AZ to Bulverde TX. I reached out to Moving Team Six to secure the 'muscle' to load my household goods. From the initial call to the closing of the cargo door after it was loaded, every encounter was friendly, positive and focused on doing the right thing for the customer. The gentleman the performed the work were in uniform, polite, quick and most of all very careful. Very impressed! The pricing was based on time and there was no 'lolly gagging' around in an attempt to get more money. The rate of $99 per hour for two gentlemen and a $99 trip charge (even though I hate paying those) was very fair considering the level of customer service and quality of workmanship. Buyer beware. Make sure you know all the fees before you have them come out. They gave me a price for 3 men approximate time of job 5 hours (which was the same hours as other movers). When they have moved a 10' x 20' storage locker of my furniture out onto the street they asked me to sign the contract which include a lot of hidden fees. Look over contract before moving day They charge 4% to use credit card They offer you free insurance which covers 60 cents a pound on any furniture item that gets damaged. You do the math. It doesn't really cover anything. Then after will say you can pay $200 for a $5000 insurance policy plus there is a deductible on top of that. Then, they don't replace the items they will just fix them. They are very nice respectful kids (19 and 20 years old) that showed up in time but watch them drag furniture, bump walls banging furniture along the way. They stepped on my white chair seats leaving a dirty foot print. When moving my head and foot boards from one house to the other it was not blanket wrapped so after putting it back together there are gouges. Don't be fooled by the 5 stars. It's not worth it!!! Adam had a fast return contact time and was able to put me on the calendar quickly; very nice and professional. Movers were a good group of guys, very friendly. Were slightly late showing up but worked fast. Had a few items that were banged up and scraped against my less than 24-hour new freshly painted interior house (see photos). The damage also included a hole in my brand new houses wall and damage to my new washer (dented and chipped paint, see photo). Also, cracked floor vase and broken shelf to TV stand. Very pricey and know I can get same services for cheaper from another local company that I hired previously, but they were booked on the day I needed. Honestly? My biggest worry about moving was the moving company. You hear such horror stories. I did not have to worry at all. Moving Team Six was fantastic. From scheduling: the person in the office listened to what I needed, told me what he thought would work and scheduled it. The guys were right on time, friendly, clean cut and man did they work like magicians. They fit our belongings into our Pod like it was a puzzle.
