ZippGo rents you a certain amount of boxes based on how many rooms/square feet you are moving, and they deliver the boxes to your address, you use them for a move, and they pick them up at the new address. It was easy to schedule and make sure the drop off and pickup worked at an appropriate time. The boxes themselves are sturdy plastic, and the top interlocks so you don't need any packing tape. The boxes fit on top of each other which makes them easy to stack and move. You can also pick box inserts that are designed for plates and glassware which made it so easy to move these items. I would recommend ZippGo in a heartbeat- it made our move faster, easier, and more eco friendly too!

I brought all my most precious and important items there, first. It's now Saturday, and apparently, they accidentally had my unit still marked as vacant, and assumed the four boxes, five bins, and giant bag I just put in over the last few days, was all abandoned by a previous tenant, and they "discarded" it, to rent the unit to someone else. The only employee on site called the one who actually rented me the unit, who screwed up, named Nae. Nae said she was going to call the area manager, and call right back. We stood there for an hour. No callback - which is a huge middle finger to that employee who was onsite, too, leaving her in the crossfire with no answers. The area manager, Anjuli, finally emailed me after the facility was closed and I had already gone home, to tell me that my stuff was all gone, refusing to elaborate on how it was "discarded," and basically dismissing the issue to be dealt with on Monday. Avoid this place like the plague. And Anjuli - you need to make this right and give me every single detail of where my stuff went, NOW.

Needed two over-sized, odd-shaped boxes for items I ship from my small business. No one had the right dimension box or I would be forced to spend $50-$200 for a pack of multiple boxes. I was at my wit's end, trying to figure out how to ship two important orders without spending more than I wanted to on a shipping box. I finally called UPS to ask if they had the right size for me to purchase - although I did not want to use UPS as a carrier, preferring USPS - they told me they did not even carry the size box I needed, but referred me to this establishment. From my first inquiry phone call to the next day purchase of the boxes, I had a courteous man immediately help me with my shipping needs. The pricing was very reasonable. The shop is fairly small, but they carry a large assortment and range of box sizes. I went in sort of end of day, an hour before closing. and I was served with courtesy and care. This will now be my "Go To" shop for shipping supplies.

I came back in the store later with a plastic bag on it and he said that wasn't the right kind, even though it looks exactly like and was the same size of the shipping bags he sells -(even though it was originally totally packaged as directed)- he said it needed an additional plastic bag,,,,the one he sells for $5.99,and when i questioned him and showed him it was basically the same size and looking bag , he told me to " get the Fk out of his store". I ended up taking this to another UPS store and there was absolutely no problems at all. The service was friendly, and they said it was packaged exactly as it was supposed to be and absolutely did not need ANY plastic bag that the guy at the LaSalle store insisted it needed , in fact, they laughed when I told them what happened and told them they get a lot of customers coming over to them after complaints about the LaSalle store and that one nasty guy who tries to upsell them shipping products that they don't need!

UPS only had 24x14x14, which was downsized (very easy to do, took less than 5 minutes). My product was put in the box and taped closed. NO extra packing needed. Perfect fit. I buy 24x10x8 boxes (25 pack) from U-line at a cost of $2.07 each. UPS pays $1.58 or less per box. UPS charged me $11.99 for the box, $6.00 for "pack materials" that were not used, and $4.00 for a standard Pack Service (okay); a total of $23.93. I learned my lesson; the box alone was not 100% mark-up it was seven times the cost of the box I wanted. To add insult to injury, IF I shipped with them it was going to cost me $86.00 (including the above mentioned). Charging me $62.00 for shipping a 2lb box to Texas. I declined, paid the $23.93 and left . I ordered the label online, same box and same weight, and paid $20.92. A savings of $41.00. I would have overpaid a total of $56.00. ASK FOR PRICING BEFORE YOU PAY. UPS did a White Wash response. Probably AI. No customer service or concerns for customers.

So I had to do a 2 part move and I used Jay's Small Moves for both! We did an apartment to storage unit then a storage unit to condo move within 2 weeks. For both moves, there were 2 guys each with 1 truck, and they were fast/efficient and polite/professional! Got the move done both times in under 2 hours. Also really appreciate George, who I spoke with on the phone a few times and was helping me with the 2 separate moves and quotes.
