We love movement gyms. This location is awesome because it has a coffee shop in front with a discount for climbers. It has plenty of climbing options for ropes as well as bouldering. We did a yoga class and the teacher let my daughter be next to me the whole class. That was awesome (she was quiet and stretching along, she's 6). We always have a great time working out here. The bathrooms are clean. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It's a great place for the whole family.

This place has been a staple for me. Extremely friendly staff and lots and lots of routes to try! Fair price for a monthly membership, and I appreciate being able to use the members only hours in the morning after I drop my son off at school. Best way to start the day!

This is where I started my obsession with climbing, a friend invited me and I was hooked! With the new change in ownership, the membership has become even more worth it because you get access to not only all of the formerly summit gyms but also the newer movement gyms. Pro tip: wait for a 30 for $30 deal because they have them often (hopefully movement keeps doing this)

I came here with friends for the first time and found out they honor military discounts! Oh how I love this place already. What they have here is an organic community where newfound strangers become friends that gathers to climb, workout, and hangout... It's a welcoming community that embraces the experience of climbing -- so even if you're new to the area or new to climbing, you can feel comfortable with whatever level you're in! With tall climbable walls with hundreds of routes -- including both boulders, top rope, lead climb, and auto belay, its just the place to be! They also offer classes & clinics: yoga, strength and conditioning, gym to crag, and running. I would surely love to come back :)

My sister regularly visits this climbing gym and I've been a couple times as a guest or for one of the weekly promotions (ladies night, student night, two for one--all when day passes are half price at $12). We always really enjoy our climbs, but if you're just starting out, it's definitely good to go with someone who knows what they're doing and can show you the ropes because the orientation was minimal. The place is huge with enough to keep you entertained for at least 1.5 hours. There is something for everyone, beginner or expert, in the sections for bouldering and top-roping (there's even a kids climbing section), and more challenging activities are available such as moonboarding. The staff are always very kind and help facilitate a smooth check-in process. They have been more strict about keeping non-members from entering during member only hours (6-11am). After 11am, it does get somewhat busy even on weekdays. Membership is $75/month, or if you are a student, teacher, or military, it's $60/month. A membership also includes a free guest pass each month.

New location with lots of options. I was a little overwhelmed by the vast space that this location offers compared to the climbing gym I usually go to. I mainly boulder, so I was pleased with all the walls here, some with steep inclines, others straight up. I went on a weekend, so it was pretty packed. I'm not sure how busy it gets during the weekday, but even when it was crowded, I still got to climb enough to be satisfied with my workout.

Summit likes to abuse me. It abuses my shoulders, my arms, my back. Then the Summit Plano location opened. Now Summit's open to abuse my legs and butt! Haha. (I say that because they officially have a lifting section upstairs with barbells and bumper plates. I abuse my legs with squats and deadlifts. :')) Summit is awesome! Grabbed a membership the first week I moved to Dallas after trying out the Summit Dallas (in Lake Highlands) location. The Plano location is brand new as of July 2019. They're clean, have generous padding for the bouldering section, scary omg-imma-die top roping if 55'. Fifty five feet. Yeah. They also offer yoga classes, the aforementioned lifting section upstairs, cardio machines (bikes, rowing, treadmills). What's not to love? :) Also if you get a membership, you can bring in a guest for free once a month. And it includes rental gear for your buddy! Def coming back! Also making this my main go-to gym. :)

All right Yelp, it's been awhile. I have a love-hate with sharing my favorite places because then…read morethey'll get too busy but dusting off my Yelp review skills because this place really deserves all the hype and kudos. So if you're on the fence, get your popcorn, here we go. I am the queen of workout studio classes - cycling, barre, pilates, HIIT, Orangetheory, F45, Equinox, classpass. Been there, done that. Each studio has their upsides and purpose depending on your fitness goals but at the end of the day, if you're anything like me, each studio loses its glamour due to the repetitive nature of the classes. In comes Madabolic! So you're wondering, how does this differ and why is it great?? 1. The workout does a great job of keeping things fresh - cycling between Durability Days (heavier weight focused at 80% efforts throughout), Momentum (building momentum efforts at 70%, 80% and 90%) and Anaerobic Days (all out 100% HIIT in your face days). Different things going on everyday and don't let the titles "Durability" fool you that it's a specifically a weight lifting day or that "Anaerobic" is strictly a cardio day - all days include a good ratio of both. Trust me, you will be sore (in a good way). 2. The coaches (and the people)! Granted I do 530am workouts where I'm barely awake for half of the class, but everyone is extremely welcoming and friendly. Plus if you're a newb like me and working on your form, you actually get assistance with your form and help with modifying your workout if needed. 3. The difficulty. Finally a workout that accommodates both men and women (Couples workout? Day date? Anyone?). Similar to Orangetheory or F45, there are several options for weights depending on your level - but differing in the fact that the weight choices are clearly set by level so you know what to choose without having to guess and have something to build up to if you're looking to BUILD that muscle! 4. All right, the last thing. Let me address the elephant in the room - Boxing. Either you come in loving it or absolutely dreading it. I was definitely the latter. Every class includes it and I had maybe 10 minutes of boxing experience prior to this and hated this circuit so much in the beginning that I constantly considered quitting the studio every time. Hear me out - It grows on you and soon you'll begin to feel like a badass and recognize how great it is for your core and arms - trust me, it could be worse, you could be doing mountain climbers and push-ups everyday to work those muscles .

My ONLY recommendation is to have benches or some type of seating out in the check in area. people who don't like wearing their training shoes to and from their workout can sit and change their shoes. I felt weird sitting on the floor so I balanced and changed shoes standing up. Haha! Walked to the car and changed out of my shoes back into my regular street shoes. No big deal but definitely something to think about!!

I had Visited this location on three different occasions and the front desk workers were not polite or welcoming. Their names were Mark and Issac. Isaac specifically did not help me when I came to the desk on three different occasions to ask for help with the wireless chargers. Instead of walking over to me and helping he sat on his personal phone at the front desk. I had been a member of LA Fitness (Chicago and…read moreDallas) for over ten years and when I heard they had common ownership it drove my decision to spend the extra money to join Club Studio. The other reason I joined was the location is just five minutes from my Dallas house. Max and Lewis talked me into giving Recovery a try for a couple months. I am very glad I took their advice. I am still regularly using Recovery. After one year I can make the following review: First, the Dallas facility is maintained better than any other fitness center I have ever gone to. It is always very clean, and the machines almost always are in excellent condition. The locker rooms and sauna are spotless. Second, the personal are very friendly. The personal trainers are experienced, educated and dedicated. Third, the staff working Recovery are very nice and competent. Ishani has pushed me to increase my Cryo time and use a colder setting. I am not crazy about the Cryo Chamber, but after I warm up, I feel fantastic. I really appreciate Ishani pushing me. Finally, Club Studio recently hired Janie to be the supervisor and in charge of Recovery. She worked at Club Studio in San Antonio and is very experienced. I recently injured my hamstring, and she worked with me on the settings of the Red Light Therapy. I double checked her advice with AI and both were very consistent. Most important is the Red Light Therapy has helped. Congratulations to Club Studio management on the hiring of Janie. GREAT HIRE. Charles F.

I took their hot yoga class, which was both refreshing and energizing. The instructor was incredibly kind and hands-on with her guidance, making the class enjoyable for all levels. There's a small cafe on-site, which is perfect for grabbing something before or after a workout. They also have multiple pickleball courts, which adds a fun, social element to the experience. My favorite part was definitely the recovery area. They offer cryotherapy, infrared light therapy, compression, and massage chairs. I personally tried the compression therapy and was very satisfied with how it made me feel afterward. It's a big, well lit, still-has-that-new-smell kind of place, with tons of new equipment and nary an out-of-order sign to be seen on our most recent visit. We only briefly interacted with the staff, and they were friendly and greeted us warmly. I briefly darted into the locker area to use the men's room, it was clean and well stocked. As for the equipment, I'm all about the "put on the headphones and hit the pin-loaded weight machines", and that's what I did. This gym has a couple of machines that our usual one doesn't, so that was a nice change of pace. If there's a downside, there's only one pec fly/deltoid machine, and since it does two exercises, it's always in high demand, and I had to wait for two others to do their reps. The McKinney location has two of these, and there's often still a wait. We also hit the ellipticals for a few minutes to warm up, and they were super clean and new as well. As always, we closed out our workout with the Hydromassage, and even with four chairs, there was a brief wait, but no biggie. Bottom line, this is a super clean, well lit, well managed gym with no judgment and plenty of options for your workout.

After multiple calls, instead of taking responsibility, I'm being spoken to as if this is my fault for signing something your employee gave me incorrectly.
