We love movement gyms. This location is awesome because it has a coffee shop in front with a discount for climbers. It has plenty of climbing options for ropes as well as bouldering. We did a yoga class and the teacher let my daughter be next to me the whole class. That was awesome (she was quiet and stretching along, she's 6). We always have a great time working out here. The bathrooms are clean. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It's a great place for the whole family.

This place has been a staple for me. Extremely friendly staff and lots and lots of routes to try! Fair price for a monthly membership, and I appreciate being able to use the members only hours in the morning after I drop my son off at school. Best way to start the day!

This is where I started my obsession with climbing, a friend invited me and I was hooked! With the new change in ownership, the membership has become even more worth it because you get access to not only all of the formerly summit gyms but also the newer movement gyms. Pro tip: wait for a 30 for $30 deal because they have them often (hopefully movement keeps doing this)

I came here with friends for the first time and found out they honor military discounts! Oh how I love this place already. What they have here is an organic community where newfound strangers become friends that gathers to climb, workout, and hangout... It's a welcoming community that embraces the experience of climbing -- so even if you're new to the area or new to climbing, you can feel comfortable with whatever level you're in! With tall climbable walls with hundreds of routes -- including both boulders, top rope, lead climb, and auto belay, its just the place to be! They also offer classes & clinics: yoga, strength and conditioning, gym to crag, and running. I would surely love to come back :)

My sister regularly visits this climbing gym and I've been a couple times as a guest or for one of the weekly promotions (ladies night, student night, two for one--all when day passes are half price at $12). We always really enjoy our climbs, but if you're just starting out, it's definitely good to go with someone who knows what they're doing and can show you the ropes because the orientation was minimal. The place is huge with enough to keep you entertained for at least 1.5 hours. There is something for everyone, beginner or expert, in the sections for bouldering and top-roping (there's even a kids climbing section), and more challenging activities are available such as moonboarding. The staff are always very kind and help facilitate a smooth check-in process. They have been more strict about keeping non-members from entering during member only hours (6-11am). After 11am, it does get somewhat busy even on weekdays. Membership is $75/month, or if you are a student, teacher, or military, it's $60/month. A membership also includes a free guest pass each month.

New location with lots of options. I was a little overwhelmed by the vast space that this location offers compared to the climbing gym I usually go to. I mainly boulder, so I was pleased with all the walls here, some with steep inclines, others straight up. I went on a weekend, so it was pretty packed. I'm not sure how busy it gets during the weekday, but even when it was crowded, I still got to climb enough to be satisfied with my workout.

Summit likes to abuse me. It abuses my shoulders, my arms, my back. Then the Summit Plano location opened. Now Summit's open to abuse my legs and butt! Haha. (I say that because they officially have a lifting section upstairs with barbells and bumper plates. I abuse my legs with squats and deadlifts. :')) Summit is awesome! Grabbed a membership the first week I moved to Dallas after trying out the Summit Dallas (in Lake Highlands) location. The Plano location is brand new as of July 2019. They're clean, have generous padding for the bouldering section, scary omg-imma-die top roping if 55'. Fifty five feet. Yeah. They also offer yoga classes, the aforementioned lifting section upstairs, cardio machines (bikes, rowing, treadmills). What's not to love? :) Also if you get a membership, you can bring in a guest for free once a month. And it includes rental gear for your buddy! Def coming back! Also making this my main go-to gym. :)

They also had a promotion going on with bring a friend free for Cinco de Mayo weekend. The gym size is smaller than the East Plano location and has fewer equipment options. The free weights and machine areas also feel a bit more compact, with less space between sections. That said, I still like that they're open 24 hours on weekdays. I believe it's the only Crunch Fitness in the area with the flexible hours, probably due to being close to UTD. It's still a solid gym when I'm on this side of town.

The gym itself was clean with good variety of equipment but does get very packed even after 7pm. The cardio equipment is a bit uncomfortable because the phone/tablet holder is way too low. Not good for posture to look down when doing cardio. The real issue with the gym is the false advertising. I assumed a 3 day pass meant 3 days of visits. After my first visit, the front desk worker said it was actually only one day but he gave me guest passes to come back again. When I came back today, I was told that the guest pass is one day only if you are brand new. They immediately asked for a day fee so it seems like a scam to get payment/commitment asap. Attached photos of the email confirmation, sign up page, and guest pass I was given.

WARNING about cancellation and billing at EōS Fitness…read more If you are thinking about joining this gym, please read this first. My experience trying to cancel my membership has been unbelievably frustrating and feels designed to make cancellation nearly impossible. When I attempted to cancel, I was told that I could not cancel unless I paid a renewal fee that had not even come due yet. In other words, I would have to pay a future renewal fee just to stop my membership. That made absolutely no sense. Because of this, I went into the gym in person to resolve the issue. I spoke directly with the General Manager, Chris Marriotti, explained the billing situation, and told him that I had been unable to cancel my membership properly. He told me that both my wife's membership and my membership were canceled and that everything was taken care of. Unfortunately, that was not true. Despite being told in person by the general manager that the memberships were canceled, the gym continues to charge the account and has now even added late fees. The memberships still appear to be active even though we were told everything had been handled. So now I am dealing with charges, late fees, and a membership that was supposed to already be canceled by management. This has been an extremely frustrating experience. When a customer goes in person, speaks to the general manager, and is told everything is resolved, that should be the end of it. Instead, it has turned into an ongoing billing issue. If you are considering joining this gym, I strongly recommend reading the contract very carefully and understanding exactly how their cancellation process works before signing anything.

There's a small cafe on-site, which is perfect for grabbing something before or after a workout. They also have multiple pickleball courts, which adds a fun, social element to the experience. My favorite part was definitely the recovery area. They offer cryotherapy, infrared light therapy, compression, and massage chairs. I personally tried the compression therapy and was very satisfied with how it made me feel afterward. I felt like compared to other gyms it was very clean and the amenities were ones i enjoyed using! they have a beautiful stretching area and all of the equipment is open and spacious. i've taken a ride class with Jamie that was so fun and inviting, even hot yoga classes that feel so refreshing and addicting. front desk staff are welcoming and the Beaming smoothie place being on site is lovely after a hard workout (will be back for that acai bowl) that being said a few months in i am cancelling my membership RELUCTANTLY. I only truly took the pilates reform classes consistently and knew they were not classical based going in. not being able to be in a Shalena class anymore feels like a horrible break up but other than her i have not found another instructor i truly like. i am getting training in pilates instruction and once i started that training it made the club studio format show many flaws. lack of cueing of form, breath, and modifications. you'd think in a class of almost 30 reformers modifications would be a huge part of class but for most instructors i had to modify for myself. i can't imagine someone who is first getting into pilates, who thinks the shakes are normal and don't know how to modify for their own personal struggles, would be able to not risk injury in this set up and style. they do ask in the beginning of the class if anyone has any injuries or limitations but i've been taking pilates for years and never knew i had hyper mobility that needed modifications until recently. not everyone will know their limitations until they get hurt. standing on the reformer happens in nearly every single class (ive taken 30) which is a more advanced skill that should not be in an all levels class often. like i said in the beginning leaving this gym feels like a horrible break up and if you are someone who is trained in pilates and looking for more intermediate to advanced contemporary pilates i think the reform classes are great. i personally can not keep going here knowing what i know about pilates now

It's a big, well lit, still-has-that-new-smell kind of place, with tons of new equipment and nary an out-of-order sign to be seen on our most recent visit. We only briefly interacted with the staff, and they were friendly and greeted us warmly. I briefly darted into the locker area to use the men's room, it was clean and well stocked. As for the equipment, I'm all about the "put on the headphones and hit the pin-loaded weight machines", and that's what I did. This gym has a couple of machines that our usual one doesn't, so that was a nice change of pace. If there's a downside, there's only one pec fly/deltoid machine, and since it does two exercises, it's always in high demand, and I had to wait for two others to do their reps. The McKinney location has two of these, and there's often still a wait. We also hit the ellipticals for a few minutes to warm up, and they were super clean and new as well. As always, we closed out our workout with the Hydromassage, and even with four chairs, there was a brief wait, but no biggie. Bottom line, this is a super clean, well lit, well managed gym with no judgment and plenty of options for your workout.
