First time coming to this Movement location after only having been at the NYC locations. Definitely much much bigger of course with more climbing space. The staff and front desk were super helpful and nice. Their rope climbing walls didn't disappoint as there were plenty of routes to climb and it didn't feel crowded at all. Will definitely stop by next time if I'm in the area again!

My daughter and I had a fantastic day at Movement gym. We went on a Saturday morning. The instructors are very patient and well practiced in teaching beginners (thanks Ari!) I learned how to belay, passed my safety check and we had a great time climbing. Lots of different levels and large area to explore. Highly recommend!

Love checking out the local Movement gyms when I'm in a different city. I belong to the Colorado gyms and love that my Movement membership works at all their locations. This one had friendly staff and lots of room to climb without it getting crowded. PS the parking garage in the building says $11 for 2 hours but you can get parking validated at the front desk.

    Gotta learn that lingo!

We called this place one morning last week to see if they could by chance fit us in that day for the introduction class for climbing and belaying basics. Their classes were full but there was an instructor who happened to be standing right there and she quickly spoke up and agreed to give us our own class. Wow! Awesome! Everyone was so knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. Our instructor, Bethany, was amazing. She's moving soon though so she unfortunately won't be available for future classes. No worries though! They have plenty of other extremely helpful and knowledgeable instructors available! The walls were awesome (not that I'm an expert yet). We had such a great time and we are so excited to go back! I highly recommend visiting this spot. They also have numerous gyms across the US and if you are a member, you can visit any of them!

Very fun and great workout. The place is huge. My friend and I went on a Sunday and it was absolutely packed. He said he went earlier that week on a Tuesday and there were 20 people max. I recommend to all.

LOVE this gym. It is spacious, has new facilities, and plenty of climbing routes for all levels of climbers. There is also a sizeable gym and spacious bouldering area. Keep in mind, it does get crowded between 5:30-7:30 pm on weekdays.

Awesome new Earth Treks rockclimbing gym! It just opened up and it's huge and beautiful! Probably the biggest rockclimbing gym in the US. It is a rockclimber's heaven. Plenty of great boulder problems and rope climbs. Since its brand new, the holds are really rough. They also have a normal gym fitness section with a great number of treadmills, ellipticals, hangboards, and weights. Kinda pricey. It's $95, if you want access to all ET gyms. It is $89 for this location only. I guess it's worth it if you're an avid climber and plan on going often. Like all ET gyms, the staff is super cool and helpful. It's not that easy to find. No huge sign out front. It's in an office building. There is street parking and garage parking. Free during the weekends. On weekdays, it's free after 4pm. Before 4, you can get validated. It's also within a short walk from the metro.

Check in was smooth. They offer lockers for your convenience to store your belongings. They have very clean restrooms as well. The spin room is a large size. There are tons of bikes. They provide you with towels and they sanitize after each class. Our instructor, Lorenzo, was AMAZING! His energy definitely kept me motivated even when I felt like stopping. It was a wonderful 45 min workout. I was drenched in sweat! I enjoy the fact they incorporate weights within the spinning. It was a great overall workout! Bring your water! I'll definitely be back!

Super convenient location and friendly staff. However the space in the gym is VERY poorly allocated…read moreand the layout was a bad design from the start. The barbell area set aside for deadlifts and squats was like added as an afterthought - it's in a small, cramped, crowded corner at the back of the free weights area. It's like a tight little nook with all artificial light, and it's very awkward and demotivating waiting your turn in such a tiny space crowded to the max with sweaty bodies and weights. Meanwhile, the outer portion of the gym where the treadmills and cardio machines are is huge by comparison, but at any given time only a few people are using the treadmills with many unused. They could have put more of the barbells and squat equipment there to alleviate the crowing and calustrophobia in the free weights area. There's no breathing room in such a crowded environment! BTW, to be fair, the location in Old Town Alexandria is MUCH bigger and uses their floorspace much better. Even though it's a little farther away from my house, I go their whenever I can. The layout is awesome, you can breathe, and concentrate much better on your workout, instead of fighting crowded bodies and metal equipment everywhere you turn in a tiny little corner of the weight room. As a member of OneLife's all-access plan I'm grateful I can go there too. It's a 5 star location. Overall, not complaining about OneLife as a whole, just the layout of the Crystal Park location which seriously needs to be redesigned.

I go to various PFs in the area on my way to work or an event where it saves time being close to DC over working out in FXBG and fighting post 7 am traffic. This Arlington PF is a little smaller feeling than the others I've visited (to date 5 in VA and 1in FL) but one of the cleanest I've visited. The locker room is clean to include the shower and the shower head is high to accommodate tall ppl. And the lockers were nice w a good mix of small and long versions. The long ones have enough room to where I could hang my suit inside wo it bending or sticking out abs me having to force the door close. The atmosphere was quiet. Even the music seemed lower than normal but I wear headphones most of the time. The gym goers minded their own biz. Didn't see a lot of talking and socializing like I do in many others. The equipment was clean and the floor was great for dropping dumbbells . You do have to pay for parking. I got there at 7 am and parked across and along the street. $1.80 for an HR and 45 mins wasn't bad. I would go again. (Edited review bc I Found typos)
