What they did to my household was not just negligent--it was chaotic, dishonest, and borderline criminal. I hired them for a major relocation, trusting them with my family's possessions. What I received was a nightmare: - My Ashley dresser arrived with broken legs - They lost the hardware needed to assemble my desk - My Ring camera system--gone, never delivered, never accounted for - They never helped unpack or assemble a single item - My son's bed was only halfway assembled - My box spring mattress frame was put together only after I walked them through it step-by-step - They left furniture wrapped in filthy, stained blankets and walked out without finishing the job They didn't even show up until after 4:30 PM. The driver, Adam, claimed they were late because they couldn't find anyone to unload the truck. And who did they eventually bring? Tweakers. Literal tweakers off the street. And the pricing? Classic bait-and-switch. I originally signed with a different company. Their rep, Edwin, was aggressive in winning my business. I told him my biggest concern was price changes. He promised a binding quote and said the "owner" would call to reassure me. I got a call from someone claiming to be "Alex"--but it was actually Amelia, pretending to be the owner. Later, I spoke to the real Alex (a man). That tells you everything you need to know. I demanded a video walkthrough via WhatsApp and showed Edwin every item. He confirmed: "The price will not change." Then the crew tried to upcharge me by over $4,000. I told them to take everything off the truck. This company are criminals and reading these reviews it is like reading our own experience. After walking through our house and quoting us $12k and picking up our belongs (2 days late) and not bringing the right truck, they told us they "misquoted" and demanded another $36k and said they would not leave the state until we wired them that additional $36k, keeping in a storage place in CO (so they unloaded and reloaded multiple times). Filed with DOT and Better Business Bureau and they did nothing. This company have obviously done this to every customer and so demand cash before they would bring our stuff and refusing to tell us where our stuff was being warehoused. We paid the $36k because they were hostage holding valuables and family heirlooms we couldn't let go. They showed up with a crew who were not movers, just day workers they picked up that day so had no experience moving. 1/3 of our furniture was destroyed and multiple holes and dings to our house because they were careless. We were told had to file with their insurance claims company, which we did. That company kept telling us 4-6 weeks, then 2 more weeks, then 2 more weeks. 3 months later they just emailed saying they can't process our damages claim because Move with a Pro has not been paying them for their services and basically told us you need to follow up with them and good luck getting a response. read more

This has been the worst customer service experience my husband and I have ever had. We are respectfully in our 60s and 70s, and for what we expected to be our final major move, we chose to hire a professional moving company. We did this specifically so we would not burden our children with driving to Pittsburgh to pack and then move us to Omaha, Nebraska. We believed that in the United States, companies provide honest estimates and professional service. That belief was a mistake. We initially went through a broker, which is where the problems began--but I want to focus on Move With a Pro, the company that actually showed up to move us. Pickup Day - Immediate Red Flags The movers did not arrive in a moving truck. They arrived in a rented U-Haul, claiming their truck had broken down. Almost immediately, they told us we would have to pay extra money for wrapping our belongings or they would not take them--despite wrapping being part of the original discussion. We had clearly disclosed that we were moving a two-bedroom, two-bath apartment and went room by room listing every item. We were told we needed 600 cubic feet, and that if it went slightly over, it would be fine. Instead, after loading only 600 cubic feet, barely one-third of our household goods had been placed on the truck. Forced Overcharges & Emotional Distress At that point, we were not just shocked--we were angry and frightened. We had to be out of our home that day. We had no choice. To ensure that our family antiques and irreplaceable items made it to Omaha, we were forced to pay thousands more than the agreed estimate. When the truck left, half of our belongings were still behind. We had to act fast. A friend from our former business rushed to rent a U-Haul. We were forced to give away many of our possessions, knowing we would never see them again. That loss was devastating. Before the movers left, they issued a new, much higher estimate, and we made them promise there would be no additional charges at delivery unless we refused delivery and required storage--which was never a concern. No Communication & New Extortion Attempt We arrived in Omaha before the holidays. December 22 was mentioned as a possible delivery date. We called. We texted. No response. After the holidays, we tried again. Weeks went by before anyone answered. The man who packed our belongings claimed not to know who we were and had to call someone else. Eventually, we were told a woman would call us. When she finally did, she repeatedly placed us on hold and disconnected the call. This happened multiple times. Eventually, we were told the reason: They claimed their "math was wrong" and demanded an additional $1,200-$1,500 before delivery. DOT Confirmation & Ongoing Threats We contacted the Department of Transportation, who clearly told us: * We do not owe one cent more than the final signed estimate * Any mathematical errors are the company's responsibility, not ours Despite this, we have endured days of yelling, threats, and intimidation, and we still do not have a delivery date. They are holding our household goods hostage. We already have the $2,030 they said would be due at delivery, yet they refuse to release our furniture. Final Warning My husband and I are now preparing for legal action. This company is based in Texas, where my husband is from, and we will pursue every legal avenue available. This is a horrifically incompetent "company" that is clearly bait and switching customers by providing low quotes upfront and then raising their prices multiple times throughout the process, including on arrival for pickup, when you have no other option. On top of the sketchy pricing, they lost many of my items in a move from Louisiana to Michigan (included were all of my most expensive items - television, kitchen table, framed map, etc). Their customer service was extremely unresponsive and, most of the time, outright rude. I was sent to two incorrect claims providers before finally being sent to one that would take my claim, which is still being processed. I have had a terrible experience with Move with a Pro (legal name Ezee Moving and Storage LLC, US DOT # 3633831). Please don't ever use this company. They will damage so much of your belongings. And then after damaging thousands of dollars of your furnishings, they will offer you pennies on the dollar. I wish I could give -5 stars. Our experience has been a nightmare so far. I initially spoke with someone who kept calling back until I signed a bill of lading and gave a deposit. Then: radio silence! When I called the company back they claimed such person no longer works there. I was promised an empty truck and my total payment would depend on whether I filled the truck or not. Movers come as promised but started complaining that my household content wasn't going to fit, as the truck was 1/3 full. Then they said they could try to fit it, but there was going to be a price change. That change was almost DOUBLE! We had no choice but to go ahead as we were leaving the following day. We signed a bunch of documents and promised we would get a digital copy the same day. We had to call/email/ text for 4 days before we got a copy of our contract. Then they all got nasty. The 3 people I spoke to until then all disappeared. The only person who answers the phone is HORRIBLE and should be banned from customer service. Their tactic is to speak loudly over you until you hung up in disbelief. We were promised our furniture within days, we are now at day 21. They changed the narrative to "21 business days". In the meantime, we spent a fortune in hotels as we can't live in an empty house. We are considering legal action and compensation of our expenses if our furniture won't be delivered by the end of December. If we'll ever get our stuff and in what condition, it is left to see. This is the most unprofessional business we have ever worked with!!!!!!! Our truck was to be delivered on Saturday. We got a call that the truck broke down and then radio silence. Almost 2 days of not knowing if our belongings were damaged or stolen. We called, emailed, texted and finally heard that we may get delivered late Sunday night. Then nada. Finally on Monday we had to call and finally found out it would be delivered. Then more BS! We were told we could use a credit card (just as we paid our deposit) and then we were told that we have to use Zelle or our stuff will NOT be delivered. She had the nerve to say she wanted to charge us for holding up shipment when you they didn't deliver on Saturday and THREATENED to take our possessions back to Dallas! The customer service rep should be reprimanded. She has no business in this industry. I will be making complaints with DOT, TXDMV, FMCSA, the Better Business Bureau, Angi's List, and Google. read more
