I highly recommend that you put Move Out Seattle on the very tippy top of your short list when looking for a professional cleaning company that has experience with move out cleaning. I recently moved my elderly parents into assisted living which involved moving them out of their house that they had lived in for more than 50 years. Let's just say that my parent's house, in terms of cleanliness, had declined considerably because it just was simply too hard for them to physically keep up with the housework. So, when they finally moved out their house was covered in dirt, dust, grime, grease. There was food splattered on the ceiling. The appliances had accumulated enough residual stains and food items to feed a family of raccoons. The dust bunnies resembled the moss you see when hiking in the pacific rain forest. This messy home created so much anxiety. I decided that this cleaning job was clearly out of my league and felt it would be terribly unfair to ask my spouse, family, friends to help me in my futile efforts to clean this beast of a house. Finding a good move out cleaner was tricky via a web search since so many professional cleaning services say that they also offer the services of move out cleaning. Move Out Seattle's very user friendly website caught my eye. Unlike other companies, they really provided copious descriptions of their services and were extremely honest and straight forward with what they could realistically offer. They also provided a very generous amount of very helpful information for myself so I could really know what to expect from them if I hired them. I also very much appreciated that they required me to sign an agreement regarding their procedures and expectations for keeping their employees safe from covid. If they took good care of their team I figured that this was a company that would really deliver. I contacted Susan and she asked me to provide her with many different photos of the house so they could do their best to provide me a quote that was well matched to the level of dirtiness and the size of the job. The Move Out Seattle cleaning team members arrived right on time when they said they would. They were very kind, professional, and right away I knew that they knew what they were doing. I was able then to leave them to their artistry of cleaning which allowed me the brain space to assist my parents with some of their medical appointments which were also happening in the middle of this clean. My house took 2 days of cleaning and I did also forget to mention that the home had a half-bathroom that needed cleaning. Susan quickly clarified my wishes for the extra room and also let me know that my house was much dirtier on sight than what my pictures had indicated. This adjustment just added a very reasonable amount to the overall bill and was extremely fair since the house was very dirty. I'm grateful that I did not get a surprise bill at the end of the clean. This I attribute to Susan's expert process at assessing my home at the front end. The pictures of this house after the clean are simply out of the park! In my opinion Move Out Seattle are move out miracle workers. All the surfaces of the floor previously caked with dirt, sticky things, dust, were smooth and shiny and smelled very nice! The appliances really looked like I just purchased them! The gross microwave, the disgusting fridge, and the bacteria teeming oven were spotless!! The counters, formerly covered with sticky dark substances, looked like glass! The toilets in all the bathrooms looked amazing. The bathroom vanity looked spotless too! Its almost like I stepped into a time-machine and I was in this house back in 1990 when my parents had just remodeled it and kept a very clean house. I will add one nice little caveat that the invoicing process was very user friendly and done remotely. This was also very helpful and convenient for me since I'm so busy right now trying to take care of my parent's medical and daily living needs. So, do yourself a favor and put Move Out Seattle on the top of your list. I'm so glad that I hired them and I strongly believe you will too! We lived in our previous apartment for five years. We were also less than fastidious about keeping it clean. I found Move Out Seattle through a Yelp ad and was pleased to see that everything you need to know is on the site, including rates (flat based upon size of dwelling), what is covered/not covered, as well as the ability to book online. You hold your spot with a $99 deposit that goes towards your fee. I booked my appointment and Susan called a day or two later to get an initial assessment of how dirty I thought the place was, and she let us know that if the place was dirtier than expected, there might be additional time and fees involved. Our bathroom tile was much more soap scummy than expected, and Veronica, our cleaner, texted me pictures and let us know it would be an extra $99 and another hour to do the bathtub and tile. I was glad to pay it, because it was g r o s s. The place now looks beautiful, and I am grateful for Veronica's hard work in getting it there. read more

This was my first time using a professional cleaning service and I found Move Out Seattle through Yelp. I had previously contacted two additional cleaning companies for quotes and Move Out Seattle was the only one with a flat fee (based on how many rooms, etc.) and it was a reasonable fee for move out cleaning. On the day of the appointment, we had Veronica as the cleaner. She arrived at the end of the time window that we were expecting her and told us she was scheduled for 3 hours to clean our place. We returned 3 hours later, but had to wait outside for about an additional hour and a half so Veronica could finish cleaning the kitchen and oven (we cooked a lot while living there so apparently the kitchen was very greasy and difficult to clean). In the end, we have a clean condo which should hit all the checkboxes when we do our final walk through with our landlord's management company. One extremely positive point is that Susan called me about 10-15 minutes after our cleaner left to make sure I was happy with the cleaning results. I'm not sure if that's normal for cleaning companies to do, but I really like the fast follow up. One negative point is that lack of communication from Veronica to let us know she needed additional time to finish cleaning; if she had mentioned that to us the first time we stopped in or the two additional times we checked in with her, we would have continued with our errands versus sitting outside for the remaining time. I think if our kitchen wasn't so greasy, Veronica would have finished on time. Overall, I was happy with the cleaning results and would recommend Move Out Seattle to people. They also have a parent company, Susan's Green Cleaning, for regular cleaning services so I plan to contact the parent company to schedule regular cleaning service once we're settled into our new place. read more

We had a great experience with Move Out Seattle. We are preparing to put our house in Kirkland on the market but we live out of state. Susan was very easy to work with, we talked numerous times throughout the process and she was a pleasure to work with especially being so far away. I've never used a cleaning service before but injured my shoulder moving so I needed help. This crew was prompt, friendly, and professional. Great service to reduce the amount of work for moving, and at a time when it's already exhausting beyond measure. The owner also was flexible and helped through a miscommunication, arranging things so her crew could work an extra hour at the last minute to finish a heavy job.
