I didn't have to sit and wait for a doctor to show up or the anesthesiologist to show up. Everybody was there. The intake process was amazingly simple I already had completed everything online prior to the procedure. We just went a double staff had everything ready and I was rolled into surgery on time. I also appreciated how kind and professional everyone was and if I ever have to have a surgery again Which I will in December I know it will be as smooth as my October surgery. Update: surgery went well and the team at Lincoln Surgery Center did not disappoint!!!

My daughter had teeth pulled before her braces and is going back for wisdom teeth to be pulled after her braces were just removed. Her smile is amazing and she has no complaints about her care. As a parent, I know that she was in reliable hands and I felt that all of her needs were met as well as those of myself asking about her aftercare and follow up appointments. When I went it for the initial consultation - Dr Hunter warned me about the risks regarding the procedure, and let me know that the older I get, the longer the recovery time will be. He noticed I had an infection and prescribed me antibiotics as well as pain meds so that I'd have those once I got the surgery. When I actually had the surgery I went to the Castle Rock office. Dr Hunter, the nurses and the front desk staff are so incredibly nice! I was terrified and I'm an almost 25 year old man. The procedure was awesome! Felt like 20 minutes, might have been an hour. I vaguely remember feeling some tugging on 2 of my 4 wisdom teeth, but other than that it was a breeze! Post-Op instructions were clear as day. No pain during surgery, I'm a tad sore on the side of my gums but it's 100% fine! Not only that, but when I went to Walgreens to grab the pain meds, the girl at the counter was looking at the screen and said, "Whoa! It looks like Dr Hunter went to school for a REAL long time." I said, "Really?" And she goes, "Yeah, it looks like he was in school for 8 years, then another 4 years, then another 6 years after that." He's extremely experienced and I'm so glad I went to him. No nerve damage, very quick procedure, and I'm still alive! Thanks, Robert B. Hunter. I really appreciate it! My previous orthopedic surgeon, postoperatively, said that there was nothing surgically, that could be done, I proceeded to spend lots of money and several months seeing a sports doctor and a physical therapist. At wits end,I insisted on a new MRI on my knee and was told by the sports doctor that she did not believe that it warranted surgery. Dr. Gersoff looked at the MRI and did other diagnoses that led him to believe that I had a small tear in my meniscus that was causing my pain. In addition, he patiently went over my entire MRI with me and explained exactly what it showed, remarkable! After my operation, I could walk long distances without pain. Besides being a great surgeon he Has great interpersonal skills and is a great communicator.

That particular surgeon continuously blew off my symptoms and told me to give it time. When I saw Dr. Pingree he sat down and gave me his undivided attention. After listening to me he worked with me trying different options. When surgery was the next option Dr. Pingree made me feel incredibly comfortable about taking that step. Although the surgery was recent, I am confident Dr. Pingree has helped find the answer. He truly cares about his patients and does not follow the "status quo" so many doctors do. He had the most immediate opening which aligned with my timeline. Unfortunately he did have to inform me that I may need to look at hardware removal in the future, but I love a doctor who is transparent. His medical assistant Caley was also amazing. She checked my incisions and removed my stitches. While it was uncomfortable, it was still a great experience. They both have great bedside manners. Dr. Resig's timeline is different than the surgeon who did my surgery, as he will have me bear weight on my ankle sooner, but as daunting as it sounds, if I can get back on my feet sooner, I'll take it. My original timeline was non-weight bearing for the first 6 weeks, and this moves it up two weeks! I originally was going to go with a different doctor and office but their scheduler told me that they would want to see my X-rays, unfortunately I wouldn't be able to get it in time for that appointment so I looked elsewhere and I'm glad I did because I was stressing out about it. TL;DR I highly recommend OCC and Dr. Resig for your foot and ankle woes. The whole team there is awesome and so friendly.
