I went in for Morton's neuroma surgery and came out very happy. The staff there is amazing. I have had shoulder surgery, hamster surgery, full hysterectomy, etc. etc. and the surgery centers I've been to they were the most organized and on top of it that I have ever been to. I didn't have to sit and wait for a doctor to show up or the anesthesiologist to show up. Everybody was there. The intake process was amazingly simple I already had completed everything online prior to the procedure. We just went a double staff had everything ready and I was rolled into surgery on time. I also appreciated how kind and professional everyone was and if I ever have to have a surgery again Which I will in December I know it will be as smooth as my October surgery. I have an issue with their billing process,I was told a set price only to receive two bills a month later stating that I now owe them an extra $800.00.I was hesitant about the initial amount of $400.00 because of the procedure being a shot in the dark to help with my back pain. I asked more than once if the initial amount was all that I would have to pay,if I would have known that there was a chance that it would have cost me another 800.00 I never would have had the procedure. Thr prospect of having surgery is scary! The last thing I want is a run down facility with so-so administrators and staff. Lincoln Surgery Center surpassed my expectations: facility is clean, spacious and modern. I was treated with respect and privacy from the moment I checked in until I was wheeled out to my parents' car post-op. Every nurse and orderly was calm, welcoming and incredibly accommodating. No behind-the-scenes confusion here...whew! I was ushered into my accommodation and was garbed for surgery in no time. Two nurses reviewed my files and confirmed my medical history, then explained the next steps in the process. After my IV was inserted, my family was ushered to my bedside to help me ease pre-op jitters and to visit with my doctors once more. After reviewing my medical history with my surgeon, anastheseologist and OR nurse, it was time to start the party (so to speak). My concerns were addressed and steps were taken pre-and post-op to keep me comfortable. I was wheeled in go the operating room and I woke up (what felt like) a blink of an eye. Maybe it was just the anesthesia at work, but I have never encountered such kind, accommodating and helpful nurses in my life (and I've had quite a share of surgeries). They waited on my hand and foot, making sure that I was stable, nourished and informed before I was wheeled out to my parents' car. That night, my surgeon rang to check on my condition. The nurses also followed up on the upcoming days. Surgery is no fun, but having it at a place like Lincoln Surgery Center certainly takes the edge off! :-) A-plus care in my book! read more

Why one star? Because I can't go lower. This is a fantastic medical facility. Talented team of doctors and nurses who take care of the patient in a professional and friendly way. I felt very safe taking my father there and his care was top notch. My beef, is with their admin. After a 40 minute admission process on the Internet, and providing information that the doctor across the hall had already given them, they continue to call and harass me on an almost daily basis with "reminders" about bring insurance cards and ID cards. We have received instructions for a simple eye procedure three times. The last straw was the pre recorded HIPPA call that wanted voice prompts from me to be sure I listened to the entire message. ENOUGH!!! When my wife took a call from them, and stated our concerns, she gets her feelings all hurt, and "apologizes for an inconvenience." Right back to the Effing script! Trust your loved one's care to this place, and then answer the phone at your own risk. Two surgeries and OUT! Never going here again! read more

One star because I cannot select NO stars. My beef is similar to another reviewer's: the bait and switch. Pre-surgery approval stated my cost would be approximately $1300. At check-in time on the morning of the surgery, I got the "Oh, we miscalculated your cost. It will be about $2400." I really NEEDED the procedure done, so I did it anyway at an additional $1000 cost. (The final bill came in a little higher even than the surgery--morning quote. Cute move.) The surgeon, anesthesiologist, surgeon's assistant and other OR staff were phenomenal. This is one of the worst surgical centers in Denver.! If you have to have eye surgery find another place and don't go to specialty eye care at all!! My mom needs surgery for cataracts and both times they have told her to come in at specific times (10 and 12) as her surgeries were supposed to start at 11 and 1 respectively. Well that didn't happen but both times she was in the pre surgery area for over two and a half hours! Then this last occasion when I asked for a manger of the facility, the woman that came out dis not even know where my mom was when I complained about their scheduling and proceeded to blame the doctor for everything. Really take responsibility lady and get your staff trained! Again don't ever use this place!! No stars even if I have to put one on here to post this!!! read more

I had major surgery there and felt this attitude the first time and then again a second time when I needed additional treatment a month later - most of the nurses are great, but a few have some attitude which should never be exhibited to a patient who is coming out of anesthesia read more

If you love waiting time, this is the place for you. Took my mom here on a referral for an plugged tear duct. Had 3 appointments, each time we waited 40 minutes + just to get in a room after our scheduled appointment time. Third visit, after waiting an hour, she was informed that the Dr. we had seen on two prior visits had left and we needed to find a new doc. Thanks for the phone call! read more

I had three outpatient surgeries at this center. the attending surgical Drs were fantastic each time. Post surgery nursing was great two times. One post nursing care was horrid and they kept me waiting over 4 hours for release when it should have been 45 minutes or an hour. I thought they had forgotten me and night cleaning crew would find me sitting in a recovery room. I was paying a driver to sit and wait by the hour, 3 extra hours. I was upset with post surgery nurse and she insinuated it was my fault and was extremely rude and obnoxious. She should not be working with patients. maybe a warden in a prison someplace or better still in the prison. I will not go back there for outpatient surgery. read more

I highly recommend this facility. Last year after surgery i spent two months in rehab! Having no family members here, the staff was very welcoming and caring. The food was great and they always have extra snacks for anyone at anytime. I'm having another surgery this week and asked to go back to Center of Lincoln. Tyler and Audre was mainly my therapist and was very professional and always prompt. They are so caring and explained everything to me! The nursing staff was great as well, the rooms are very clean and spacious, their was times I had to wait but not long, at least they responded with the intercom and made me feel cared for. I waited 3 hours from my designated appointment time until I had my procedure--at which point, I was a total wreck from nerves. I was told it was the fault of my doctor. The nurses were excellent, but I would never go to this facility again. I never had such an awfully long wait at another facility in town that I had been going to. I recently had surgery at the Lincoln Surgery Center in Parker, Co and cannot give it a high enough rating! On a scale of 1-10 it rates a 15!!!! From the moment you walk in the door you feel cared for and looked after in a very professional manner and you are treated as though you are their only patient!!! I cannot recommend the center enough because there are not enough stars!!! A wonderful experience .....as much as surgery can be!!! read more

Be very careful when dealing with Lincoln Surgery Center. As professional as they are with the actual surgery they're accounting is terrible. You will pay up front to make sure you are covered, then while you are recovering months later you get to pay again. Then once again whoops we messed up again and more out of pocket expense. I could not have asked for a better experience. Facility is clean and welcoming. They took me on time or it may have even been a bit earlier than scheduled. The staff is attentive and kind. My OR nurse Tammie held my hand and stayed with me throughout the administering of local anesthesia and was extremely compassionate. Everyone made sure I had what I needed and checked in to make sure I was comfortable and warm. Every question I had got answered. Not to mention, my doctor (Dr. Saeed) is THEE greatest man on earth. Based on other reviews, I was worried that they would charge me more than they quoted me on the confirmation phone call but I paid exactly what they had quoted me. To the last reviewer from 1/4/16: Here's why the Lincoln Surgery Center receives such bad reviews. It's not related to the actual practice of surgery, but the deceptive financial/billing practices this center employs. You pay the estimate when you get there the day of the surgery. Then you hear nothing. That is, until you receive a bill that is conveniently a month after surgery and indicates that "Your account was to have been prepaid. In order to receive the discounted rate payment must be made within 10 days. If not you will be responsible for the entire charge amount." Yet never were you actually 1) made aware of the 10 day prepay caveat or 2) sent any kind of notification of the said "discounted rate" within 10 days, including what that amount actually is. In my case, on the morning of surgery, I paid $600.00. After investigating, apparently, the additional "discounted rate" was another $450.00. I'm fine with a total cost of $1050, and I would have paid that on surgery day... had I been privy to that information. The non-discounted rate that this organization billed was $1665. Nearly 4x the "discounted rate" I knew nothing about? Terrible. Seeing as this place is probably going to stick around (unfortunately), I do have advice: every single day following your surgery, call them to ask for your remaining balance. I have no idea whether if I had done that, they would have notified me of the $450 "discounted rate" if I had been persistent within the 10 days post, but it would have been something. read more

I had to choose 1 star otherwise I would not have given them anything. D. Craig Loucks, M.D. operated on my wife. Gave her a hip replacement. She was SENT home the same day. She was in horrible pain. The pain never went away. In fact it got worse...daily. We called his office asking to see Dr. Loucks and they refused to see her. We kept calling asking for an office visit, they said no. They told her to go to physical therapy. Her condition worsened daily. We went to another doctor/surgeon. He spent time with her and found that she had an infection. It had to be operated on. When he opened her up he found that the hip replacement had come apart. The ball joint had completely separated from the socket. The socket was loaded with infection. He had to take her hip replacement out. She has been in a nursing home rehabilitation facility since November 2016, in a wheel chair because she has no hip. She cannot walk. She cannot decorate her house for holidays. She cannot sleep in her own bed. She cannot shower in her own bathroom. She has to have a nurse or a nurses assistant, both male and female, help her go to the bathroom. She missed Thanksgiving with her family at home. She missed Christmas with her children at home. She missed New Years with friends and family at home. She missed 2 of her children's birthday's at home. She will have to have a new hip replacement put in once the infection goes away. We were told that a simple office visit and a blood test would have caught the infection. But we were denied and turned away by Dr. Loucks at the Lincoln Surgery Center in Parker, CO. Our medical bills are in excess of $175,000. $175000 vs a $30 co-pay!!!!! In Colorado there are very few mal-practice attorneys because the laws in Colorado have been written to favor the doctors. A court case can cost in excess of $200000-$300000 with a maximum recovery claim ceilinged around $300000. So, there is no recourse for the patient. The doctors/surgeons can do whatever they want over and over and over again with no recourse. Bottom line....save yourself and your loved ones and find another doctor. read more

I came in for a complete knee replacement last week. Reported at 6am, surgery at approximately 7:30, Recovery room at 9:30 and discharge at 3pm. In between, the staff was awesome! There was the normal waiting times, forms to fill out, etc. but it wasn't unusual or long. I can't say enough about the professional behavior of the staff, particularly the R.N.s. I had all of the attention and support I needed and I was informed at every phase as to what was going to happen next. I left the surgery center with a great deal of respect for the people who work there. They deal with a wide range of problems that humans bring in with them and they handle it well. read more

This is the second time we have used this place and although the nurses are quite nice, the front desk and billing is the worst in medical history. Their demand for upfront or get out payment on both occasions was a mistake on their part and you either never see "your" money back again or they keep it for months and months. NEVER AGAIN. My mother just recently had cataract surgery here and I would not recommend this facility to anyone! I'm also working in a surgery center and know what is a good center compared to a bad one. The pre-op nursing staff was rude and did not give my mother the appropriate amount of drops to make sure here eye was numb. We did not see the dr. before or after surgery. My mother was also awake during here procedure and got to listen to the nursing staff complain about other employees during her case! NOT A GOOD CENTER!!! read more
