He had the most immediate opening which aligned with my timeline. Unfortunately he did have to inform me that I may need to look at hardware removal in the future, but I love a doctor who is transparent. His medical assistant Caley was also amazing. She checked my incisions and removed my stitches. While it was uncomfortable, it was still a great experience. They both have great bedside manners. Dr. Resig's timeline is different than the surgeon who did my surgery, as he will have me bear weight on my ankle sooner, but as daunting as it sounds, if I can get back on my feet sooner, I'll take it. My original timeline was non-weight bearing for the first 6 weeks, and this moves it up two weeks! I originally was going to go with a different doctor and office but their scheduler told me that they would want to see my X-rays, unfortunately I wouldn't be able to get it in time for that appointment so I looked elsewhere and I'm glad I did because I was stressing out about it. TL;DR I highly recommend OCC and Dr. Resig for your foot and ankle woes. The whole team there is awesome and so friendly.

If you are getting something as serious as a metal plate and some screws put in your collar bone…read moreyou really should make sure the person putting it in is the best. Dr. Alijani totally fits that title. The boy broke his collar bone and after weeks of not healing his doctor finally sent him to Dr. A. We were pretty nervous. He needed to get back to work ASAP and we had a bad feeling that going to a specialist was a good sign that he needed to be operated on and that means more healing time. Boo! Dr. Alijani was quick to take his own X-rays and knew right away that a plate was needed. By the time he left his first appointment we had a surgery date set at Skyridge. The day of surgery everything went great. They were running a little behind but got him in and out faster than I expected. Dr. Alijani was there in the waiting room to tell me how everything went and to answer any questions. And boy am I a questions kind of person. I never felt like he was annoyed by any of my questions and his answered were always helpful. Follow up was just as easy. They took more x-rays and made sure it was really healing and that he was ready to go back to work. It has been over 6 months now and he feels VERY little pain and very rarely. While he seems fairly proud of the scar and not at all interested in putting anything on it to make it seem less visible it has still healed well and looks good all things considered. We would both highly recommend Dr. Alijani to anyone needing specific care like this.

Dr. Alijani, is wonderful. Great doctor and Nice guy. He really cares about his patients.read more

I also inspected hospital systems, hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers for Congress over two decades ago. Dr. Jatana is truly great from every perspective. He and his staff took time to assuage my concerns about a dual Cervical Disc replacement. I went from pain levels that almost left the 10 out of 10 scale to something between a zero and a one. His team meets every criterion of excellence in medicine. My anxiety level is usually very high when facing surgery - he and his team were a soothing balm that quelled that anxiety. Of all of the facilities I have seen, and surgeons who have performed surgery on me, NONE MATCH DR JATANA AND HIS TEAM FOR EXCELLENCE - NONE!

I mean it's not like when you need such a person you're gonna Yelp it all up and celebrate your wonderful experience, right? However, 80% of Americans will experience back pain at some point in their life, and medical treatment for such problems is estimated to cost $25 billion annually. (Workers comp costs and time lost from work add another $25 billion.) http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/money/industries/health/2006-10-16-back-pain-usat_x.htm. So the bottom line is that we all should get to become experts about 1) not just how to avoid getting these kinds of problems, but 2) what to do about it when you experience them (which 4 out of 5 of us will). Having squished a disc while moving boxes a couple of weeks ago, I'm here to tell you the answer: go see Dr. Wong. His group (Denver Spine Surgeons) rocks, and has rocked the spinal micro-surgery and treatment world in the Rocky Mountain West for a long time. Of course everyone's different, and you should do your own research about who best meets your needs. But for me, I've found my treatment provider and it's DSS, without a doubt. Now go out there and be careful (unlike me), and more importantly, be smart.

I have reviewed my medical record from Dr Wong. Most disturbing it thatI his notes and…read moredocumentation were totally fabricated. He wrote he spent 55 minutes with me when he spent 5-10 minutes with me complaining about other DR's care and other patients. My recommendation is to go to another DR, record your visit or bring someone with you and review your medical record afterwards, as he will document from others notes and make things up. He has a long history of being scored 1 and most people do not review their medical records and may be unaware of his notes which may be totally inaccurate and impact your care. Please follow up with both medicare, the hospital and the medical board because he will harm people if he already has not based on his fabrications which Im sure started when he was a med student. I can not stress enough that lying on a medical reocrd is not only bad for you but a very bad practice.
