I showed up for my appointment right on time, I went to the desk and i was rudley asked to put a mask on, i wasnt even greated. I called in advance to let them know i can not wear a mask due to breathing issues, they said no problem and accommodations would be made for me. I sat there filling out my paper work and another person who just came back into the office asked me to put a mask on. i then explained to her my situation as the other office person said " he re refuses to put on a mask". The second person then tells me to go sit in the corner and wait away from everyone. Then she proceeded to say i am endangering everyone around me and i should just leave. At this point i have very bad anxiety and they where belittliong me so i got up put the paper work on the table and i left. Since i wasnt able to see a doctor at that time, i was going to make another appointment else where. Not even 2 weeks later i got let go of my job due to my injury. At this point i had to go on colorado medicaid. I called back to explain my situation and get an appointment. i tried again because i already had a refferal and its impossible to find a doctor who is accpeting medicaid patients. I was apologized to and informed Dr stanley wasnt taking anymore patients but under this circumstance he would be asked. I waited a few days and they got back to me saying he still not going to take me. I undetstand he can only take so many medicaid patients, but if i wasnt belittled out of his office i would have been able to be seen. So since i wasnt treated with respect and im now on medicaid they are refusing to help me. Now im stuck in alot of pain trying to find a doctor that will help. This place is super unhelpful,rude and disrespectful. I would go elsewhere if you want to be treated with respect!!!!!!

However, I was able to get an assessment of several radiologists - the consensus opinion was that at best, the difference was 1/8th of an inch. Most people go through life not knowing that one leg may be up to an inch longer than the other. So a maximum difference is a bulls eye. I deleted my initial comment once I got a good report. Loucks is an outstanding surgeon.

I was then allowed to get an MRI. I had to wait an additional 3 weeks for an appointment with Dr. Loucks at which time he spent all of 10 minutes with me telling me I had been walking around on a broken femur.. I changed PCPs, and neither the new or old one had a clue. I went to a spine specialist (non surgeon), interventional radiolgist, chiropractor, and PT. PT helped a bit. The spine Dr. suggested surgery, but had no idea who to refer me to. It was awful that no one could help. I got Dr. Kimball's name from a post-op nurse who has seen his results, and I called for an appointment in early November. I was warned that he had no openings for consult until January and no openings for surgery until March, but advised to come see his PA, Sean, to see if I even needed surgery. I went for the appointment with Sean, and Dr. Kimball (after seeing my MRI) walked into the exam room, told me that I couldn't wait for his next opening, so he was going to make an opening in December. I had surgery the first week of December, and today I am 100% pain free. BEST NEUROSURGEON EVER!!!! Dr. K and Sean really are the absolute best!!! I don't even want to think about what my life would be without Dr. Kimball!!

Pay the full out of pocket cost, not even a discount. They have no concept of customer service or patient care here. What a joke.

My previous orthopedic surgeon, postoperatively, said that there was nothing surgically, that could be done, I proceeded to spend lots of money and several months seeing a sports doctor and a physical therapist. At wits end,I insisted on a new MRI on my knee and was told by the sports doctor that she did not believe that it warranted surgery. Dr. Gersoff looked at the MRI and did other diagnoses that led him to believe that I had a small tear in my meniscus that was causing my pain. In addition, he patiently went over my entire MRI with me and explained exactly what it showed, remarkable! After my operation, I could walk long distances without pain. Besides being a great surgeon he Has great interpersonal skills and is a great communicator.

Dr Mobley will definitely be the surgeon I use once I have exhausted all other options to avoid the obvious. Clear up what I need to get done to prepare for the fusion and "rod" that will be placed in my back to avoid my vertebras from "slipping. Not sure of all the technical verbiage. He had the most immediate opening which aligned with my timeline. Unfortunately he did have to inform me that I may need to look at hardware removal in the future, but I love a doctor who is transparent. His medical assistant Caley was also amazing. She checked my incisions and removed my stitches. While it was uncomfortable, it was still a great experience. They both have great bedside manners. Dr. Resig's timeline is different than the surgeon who did my surgery, as he will have me bear weight on my ankle sooner, but as daunting as it sounds, if I can get back on my feet sooner, I'll take it. My original timeline was non-weight bearing for the first 6 weeks, and this moves it up two weeks! I originally was going to go with a different doctor and office but their scheduler told me that they would want to see my X-rays, unfortunately I wouldn't be able to get it in time for that appointment so I looked elsewhere and I'm glad I did because I was stressing out about it. TL;DR I highly recommend OCC and Dr. Resig for your foot and ankle woes. The whole team there is awesome and so friendly.
