Outstanding service! The customer service rep who scheduled my spraying was very courteous and answered all of my questions. I had a lot of of questions! =) Robin, the technician is fabulous! She is friendly, knowledgeable, showed up on time, explained the procedure and quickly completed the task. I don't have any insect problems in my house, so I just wanted a one-time preventative treatment. Prior to finding this great company, I had called around and most of the places were extremely expensive and INSISTED on mandatory recurring programs. THE REAl PEST IS Mountain View pest control. I understand that when you are dealing with pest their is a process . But they need to also work with the customer . I am a busy individual and and I respected your directions as I bagged all my things everything outside my condo I needed only a few minutes to put the bags outside The exterminator she called Alan and he told her that I wasn't ready she arrived early so I couldn't finish my part. Rudely Alan said to leave I ask her to let me call Alan She said she would wait but she left without telling me.That is extremely disrespectful to a customer. BUYER BEWARE!!!!! As you can clearly see from the multiple 1 star reviews this company is far from honest ! We were referred to Mountain View Pest Control from home advisor.com for our rodent problem. Only later to find out it was just one mouse we were dealing with here! If I would have known that in hindsight I would have dealt with the mouse myself instead of losing $315 to this company ! Home advisor connected me to Mountain View and I spoke with the receptionist asking her about what the service would entail and the cost of said service . She informed me that a technician would come to my house and lay traps and poison for the rodents and that he would come back 2 weeks later to check and pick up the traps and that it would be the end of the service and would cost me a total of $150. I confirmed that the $150 would cover both times he would come out and she said yes. Ok Fine we scheduled the appt. our technician was Don and he seemed nice enough but the whole service took him no more then 10 min. He sprinkled a little poison in my attic crawl space and set 2 traps in my backyard only. The remainder of the hour he was here he was bs-ing with my husband about cars, Whatever! So 2 weeks go by he comes out to Check and pick up traps and that should have been the last time I saw Mountain View pest control because I never agreed to monthly rodent and bug services! Our association provides us with a bug service that we pay monthly for so I would never have agreed to monthly service from mountains View pest control , yeah so I can pay 2 companies for the same service a month?! No thank you! Next thing I know I have a invoice from Mountain View pest control that says I'm past due for $165! Now remember I had already paid them in full the $150 for the rodent treatment the month before so where was this new/past due invoice of $165 coming from? Well looking at my invoice Mountain View had taken it upon themselves to sign me up for no, not their gold bug service , but their Platinum bug service twice a month !!! Wow, how thoughtful of them!!! They really shouldn't have... no really they SHOULDN'T have! So I call them and the same girl who set up my rodent treatment answered the phone. I said hi I just received a past due bill for $165 for platinum bug service that I never agreed to because as you well remember I already have monthly bug services so I won't be paying you $165 for services I never authorized! Well her response I never was expecting!!! I have to give her credit for being a quick thinker because she says "oh that wasn't for bug services that was for our tech to come out and check and rebait your mouse traps!" uhhhhhhh huh?! Wait a minute here back up sister, he was suppose to take those traps 2 weeks after the initial service!!!!! well long story short people this company gets creative so I thought he had taken the the 2 traps but he hadn't!!!! he just moved them to another place in my yard where I wouldn't notice them so they could just keep on maxing out my bill!!!!! this company is not honest and they will definitely pull a quick one on you ! I would go elsewhere! Theres a ton of honest pest control companies that don't need to deceive their clients to make an extra buck!!!! We had some German cockroaches rudely follow us from our old place. The problem was getting out of control quickly and we knew we had to act fast. Mountain View Pest Control came to our rescue. We live in West Summerlin and have a bark scorpion problem. Typically they were in the back yard and garage and I saw no more than 15 a year. This year I have had at least 30 and it is only June; there are new homes going up near us and I believe the construction and plant importing has increased the population. Last night I had one inches from both of my bare feet in the house. I called Mountain View at 3 am and left a message asking them to come out later that morning. They open at 7 am, I got a call at 7:10 and Alan came out and sprayed the inside for us. Great service. read more

These guys are a joke. I hired them to do a spray - the guy who came out was great and did what he was supposed to. That's not the issue. The issue is I've told them twice that I will call them when I want another spraying done. Instead, I constantly get calls saying "we have you scheduled for tomorrow at whatever time please call to cancel." Uhhh...that's not how it works. I've already told them I'll call them twice. In fact, they say I owe them $69 for a spraying when I left a message after hours telling them I need to cancel. I'm all for a company aggressively seeking out business...but when a customer tells them HE WILL CALL them to reschedule, they don't get to put him "on the calendar." read more

I've used them for two years ever since I bought my home in Henderson. The previous owners were apparently dirty and hid it very well and I didn't realize it until I moved in and there were bugs everywhere inside and outside of the property. I set up for their service and when I needed extra sprays they came out and took care of any issues that I had. When you start spraying you will see more bugs, rodents, spiders etc, because now they're being forced out of their hiding places. Within 2 months, my home was pest free and has been for 2 years. BUYER BEWARE!! This company was hired to do a attic rodent abatement. The cost was $199 which included sealing any opening a rodent could go through to get into the home. We still had a problem so we went up on the roof...and none of the holes had been sealed. We found 13 areas that needed to be sealed. The roof guy did absolutely nothing. I contacted the company and Alan refused to give me a full refund. I informed him I lost all faith in their company and would prefer a refund. He demanded they come out to do the work...and I again requested a refund. Hours later I get a text saying they are at my house!! Again I told them I didn't want them to touch my house and I just wanted a refund. I don't want to follow them up to the roof to be sure they actually do what I paid them to do. Allen Squire is who I dealt with. He cares more about stubbornly pushing what he wants on the customer instead of actually listening to the customer. If you hired them to do any roof work I strongly suggest you double check and see if it was actually done. read more

Work performed on 06/07/2011. I contacted Mountain View Pest Control in late May 2011 regarding a problem I had with pigeons regularly nesting and creating their associated annoying mess on the narrow roof overhang at the side of my house. I arranged for Alan to come out, have a look and give me an estimate a few days later. As recommended, I subsequently scheduled to have the affected section of my roof and area below cleaned/power washed and then have metal spikes glued onto the concrete shingles of my roof to prevent pigeon landings/nesting in the future. The total estimated cost for this was $289.00 (estimated 33 spikes to be placed). As promised, I was contacted the day before this job was actually performed and everything went smoothly, as expected. Cleaning and spike placement took about 1 hour. I did experience a positive financial surprise in that the job ended up costing less than estimated, only $250.00 since not as many spikes were needed as originally expected. I have waited a bit before posting a review on Angie's List to see whether or not this passive type of pigeon deterrent would actually do the job. It does; it works like a charm. I have had absolutely no more pigeon dropping cleanup/nesting problems since this job was professionally completed on 06/07/2011. Description of work: Pigeon control was performed consisting of cleanup/power washing and then gluing metal spikes onto the concrete tiles of the affected area of my roof to prevent future landings of these dear little birds and the presents that they regularly deposit. Estimated cost was $289.00 for an expected metal 33 spikes needed. The job only cost $250.00 since fewer spikes were used. read more

I used Mountain View for over one year. They were among the most expensive exterminators and delivered very, very poor service. Billing was consistently wrong and they regularly double billed my credit card. Worst of all, they were unable to eliminate scorpions from my home. Said they would come out bi weekly. Never did. Said they would do both inside and outside. Never did. Said the would notify me ahead of a visit so i would be home to let them in. Never did. Absolutely no interest in customer service. It's really too bad I couldn't give them no stars. Where do I start? I paid for two visits for a total of 60 dollars. They showed up once and didn't really do a thorough job, I've had better results with home defense that I bought at Home Depot. When they were set to come out for a followup visit they were a no show twice. BUYER WATCH-OUT! I called them in February to treat roaches for my tenant. The guy they sent sprayed some powder into the electric outlet in the kitchen which arced and tripped the circuit. Later I had to walk the tenant through the process of finding the circuit and resetting it. Mountain View Pest Control never bothered to call me and let me know what had happened. This tenants is Chinese and do not speak good English so it was difficult figuring out what happened. A call would have been great, but that is not their style. The following is important to understand how deceitful these people are. My tenant is not a typical tenant. They do not live in the house full time and typically visit Las Vegas on weekends. I know when they come and go because I get a logged text when they use their code to access the house and alarm. Also, the tenant believes they need to text me before their visit. This means any services except yard and pool have to be arranged by me. This was told to Mountain View, but they still called stating that they were there for my "Scheduled" appointment. The first time this happened I was in town so I went over and let them in. This happened again on April 12, 2017, and I told them I would call them when I needed service. Apparently, 3 months later, on July 28th they decided to come out and do a treatment, but no one was there and they charged my card. Then on August 8 they charged me again and claimed they returned for "scheduled" treatment. Not only was that not arranged by me nor is my tenant ever supposed to be available for them, but it is only 11 days from the last "claimed treatment". Again, I was changed on September 15th. Maybe they realized I was not scrutinizing my charges and got bold, but whatever the reason this was not something I arranged or expected. I called and left a message that they need to call me about the charges. After More than a week of no response, I had the charges reversed. Then I get a call from Allen. Now claiming that they also treated the house on October 11th! Incredible!!! This was more than a week after I left my message and reversed charges. Note that the last approved treatment was April 12 and the next unapproved claimed treatment was July 28th. Just out of the blue Allen decides to start the billing process after nearly a 3-month pause, go figure. I spoke with Allen who straight away demanded payment. I informed him that I had not requested service and I know that my Tenant was not there most of those days so I did not receive service. Of course, I denied payment and was called a "scumbag" a "lair", "unethical". Really? Allen did admit that the tenant was only there once so the other 3 charges were for no services. By the way, my tenant did not let them in so there were no services rendered. Once on his abusive rant, Allen never shuts up and I was unable to communicate with him at all. I finally had to hang-up. Avoid these people, my experience with them leads me to believe that they are a dishonest, disrespectful malignancy. read more

Reasonable prices for excellent work. I've been using them for almost a year now and I am never disappointed. They have always been on time, and willing to change the schedule if need be. Even if you leave a message after hours they listen and get back to you as soon as they can. I have lived in Vegas for over 20 years in five different homes and had "ants" in four out of the five. I found Mountain View Pest Control through Angie's List as they were highly rated. I had them come out and spray about a month or so ago, and AGAIN, THIS FRIDAY. JUST SO YOU KNOW, in 20 years, this is the only service I HAVE EVER HAD TO CALL BACK TWICE! They are very friendly and Robin is a nice gal. However, after her coming on Friday and the spraying "again" with a different solution in my utility room where they were dozens, and doing "part of the outside" and my kitchen and the outside wall in the garage behind the pantry shelves, the VERY SAME DAY, I had ants in our one bathroom that I told her about but only a few. She did not spray and today, now I have hundreds! I have never been DISAPPOINTED until THIS service! i do not live in San Francisco but here. I have to say that Mountain View Pest Control does an outstanding job keeping my home and yard safe for my husband, myself and my pets. I'm not w big pest control person, but Mountain View Pest Control educated me, and had provided safe and excellent care of us and our home. Gavin is my guy, he shows up on time, is respectful, and asks if any new issues need addressing. I had found some scorpions in my home, apparently we brought a few from my in-laws old furniture. They explained how you go about getting rid of scorpions. They said you remove their food source, and they die. Thank you Gavin for taking care of our house and yard. I found a Lizard in my bed and a roach in tub June 22 Friday. I went out of my mind. I am new here and this lady told me about this company. I call and they said they would be out right away Saturday morning. The agent that came was very nice and friendly, which made me to very comfortable. I received the their top service, "Platinum Service-Power Spray. They were to spray outside and in side and put down stickier something, to catch the Lizard. Adam also said it was hot & I would not see Power Spray, I went right out after Don told he had spray and i did not see anything but dry concrete, OH! I called the company and spoke to Adam the owner. He told me Don did put sticker strip down. Then he said I was given five Strips to put down my self. I am a senior citizen and how would i know what to do them, this was a lie. Then Adam said look on your kitchen sink,that is where he would put it.
