Whenever we are in Bishop we stop here for a cold beverage and a burger. The service is excellent and a great menu. Our vegetarian daughter approves and loves the Brussels sprouts (and the fact it's spelled correctly). We like sitting on the patio (weather permitting) so our dog can come along, too.

We stopped in here after our 5-day backpacking trip on the JMT to grab a burger and brew. The blue cheese burger was excellent and I especially enjoyed the garlic fries with chunks of freshly roasted garlic. The sour was also enjoyed. The prices are what you'd expect from a tourist town. I think my meal was around $27 with tax. The service was average, neither friendly nor rude, just busy. They didn't provide any recommendations but answered my questions. You have to grab your own water and bus your table. No complaints here but if you are looking for more service, this may not be your jam. I'd definitely go back for another meal as it hit the spot! Although there wasn't music, I enjoyed the ambience and liveliness of this place. I appreciated the art on the walls as well.

Another great burger in bishop! Was shocked at how huge it was. Could've shared one! The fries we also good....don't think the garlic ones were worth paying extra for though. Very tasty overall and absolutely massive. Took a long time to get our food though...I think around 40 minutes for our 2 burgers.

Those are homemade torts and chips. The pork in. This taco is insane and abundant!

Great place to stop on 395. Amazing brews and superb salad and sandwiches. Today was Taco Tuesday so we enjoyed a bowl and tacos. The tacos were amazing. Homemade corn tortillas with abundant amount of exceptional pork.. Que bueno! Always clean, cool in the summer and wonderful service.

The food was good. Not too busy for a late Saturday afternoon which was nice. Service was quick. Music is a strange array for brewer/restaurant. But after a while it's just background noise to all the conversations. This probably won't be a place we come again just really not our kinda place.

Disappointed with the wait. It took over 35min to get our food without any indication or warning. Many others seemed to be annoyed with the wait too for their food. The garlic fries are good and the rambler burger was good according to my friends. The Reuben was kinda mid. Dry and chewy/rough pastrami. The brussel sprouts were decent but the tahini was a bit too wet and not thickened enough.

I've been to this brewery 3 times, in 2021, 2022 and 2026. On every visit I have ordered a different IPA. On my June 17 visit I was heading to Mammoth Lakes. I proudly brought in my Mountain Rambler glass growler. A friendly young woman was behind the counter helped me and I asked if I could have my growler filled with their Hell Diver Hazy IPA. I had never had this IPA and did not get a sample. That night at my campsite at Tom's Place that's when I enjoyed my beer and it was delicious. On one of my future visits I will have to try their food because there was a lot of people eating their burgers, pizza and salads and it looked and smelled great.

An incredibly open concept dining area gives incredible mountain vibes. The friendly staff were welcoming, knowledgeable and attentive. Although I wasn't there to drink I did elect for their raspberry lemon "shrub" (non-alcoholic) and it was the best thing I enjoyed there! The chicken sandwich was exactly as advertised and satiated my appetite. My SO got a baked potato with bacon and broccoli (bacoccoli?) and I lowkey wished that's what I ordered... shhh don't tell her. Ultimately this place is a great pit stop on the way to Mammoth, I'll definitely be back!

My coworkers and I were in Bishop for a work trip and stopped by Mountain Rambler Brewery for a late dinner (kitchen open until 9pm). Our visit happened to coincide with Locals' Night on a Wednesday and we enjoyed the live music and lively atmosphere. Mountain Rambler has a lot of food options, and between the three of us in our group, we got to try a great mix of a burger with garlic fries, a pastrami sandwich with regular fries, a sweet potato empanada with chimichurri, and a hummus and pita plate. Everything was tasty and the portions were definitely filling. I agree with some other reviews that mentioned the pastrami was cut a little thick; while tasty, it was sometimes tough to bite through. My coworkers also got some brews to try, which they enjoyed. The service was friendly and prompt and it was a nice spot to hang out and enjoy some good food. The Happy Hour menu also looked like there were some great deals!

I had a long way to travel on Hwy 395. Driving for several hours in a day is tiring, and you look forward to the rest stops for refreshments. My travel companion and I stopped to try a wee dram of the Scottish Ale and a basket of fries. I enjoyed the Scottish Ale a lot! Very robust and bursting withalt flavor. The fries were fresh and piping hot and so good, as well. I would've liked to have spent a couple of hours there , but we had to press on with our journey.

A favorite when visiting Bishop, CA. Located toward the south of the main town & on the east side of SR395. Beers are tasty. Business is family friendly. We split the Rambler burger & it was awesome! Home-made ice cream made daily. Friendly staff. Worth a stop if you're in Bishop. Our awesome servers were Laila & her co-worker

I live in Bishop and have been here quite a few times. The food is always good and I like to sample the beers. It can be crowded and noisy, especially on music nights. Not my style. Today, 11:30 am on a Sunday, the restaurant is hopping, but not crowded. Definitely pleasantly quiet. I am watching two men playing chess and several families enjoying their lunch. We got the soup of the day (chicken tortilla) + grilled cheese and a hamburger with fries. Just a tiny tasted of the stout. The soup was delicious. Nothing fancy. I like that. I could have gone without the grilled cheese. The soup was enough. The hamburger was as expected. The stout was a dessert drink. Very sweet and chocolate. The staff said many people order my size as dessert. We got the homemade ice cream. Very good. A nice finish. You can split it. Overall a pleasant lunch.

A flight of a pale ale and three IPAs.

When we first got there around 7:30pm, the line was almost out the door! It wasn't too busy at the tables but it just looked like everyone was ordering super slow and the line wasn't moving. Luckily, we found out they take online orders. We placed our order online and got our food within 20 minutes, then took it back to the hotel to chow down! I got the Jalapeño B burger. It's a hefty size and was oozing and leaking down my hands with beefy fat juice! The patty was so juicy and infused with chopped jalapeños bits, while the gooey jack cheese and grilled jalapeños added even more flavor. The bun is also some fancy artisanal bread, not your normal processed fast food burger bun. The fries are also well-seasoned and crispy. Also, I got the ranch dip and it was the star of the show -- tastes even better than Wingstop ranch! I drenched my burger with it and licked up every last drop. Overall, a surprise highlight meal of our trip to the eastern Sierra!

My friend LOVES the burgers here, and to be fair--the burger was good!…read more The rest was an adventure. Apparently, you order first and THEN find a table--even with 20 empty tables staring at you. We learned this from a fellow customer who apparently promoted themselves to Assistant Seating Manager. Let's just say the explanation wasn't exactly friendly. Then there's the bar. Only about half seemed available for seating, giving me a little COVID-era flashback. I was looking around wondering, "Wait... are we still social distancing?" And if I want another beer, do I keep getting up and walking back to the bar? At that point I'm not drinking beer--I'm doing cardio with refreshments. We'd previously had an unfortunate bakery experience involving bugs and hair in our sandwiches, but everyone deserves another chance. Then I visited the bathroom. I was going to post a blurred picture, but honestly, I decided nobody needs to see that while scrolling through their feed. Let's just say whatever happened in that stall had somehow managed to cover just about everything. I'll leave the rest to your imagination. Overall: good burger, confusing setup, COVID-era seating vibes, and quite the collection of side quests. Order. Find table. Get scolded by the volunteer seating coordinator. Eat burger. Walk for beer. Visit bathroom. Question life choices.

Honestly, I'm baffled by the 4.9 rating because our experience at Indiego was genuinely terrible…read more It took an entire hour to get a surf & turf burrito, a side salad, and fish tacos. And unfortunately, the wait was not worth it. The fish tacos were extremely dry and overcooked, with barely any salsa on top. The carne asada in the burrito was full of gristle and had a strange, almost off-putting smoky flavor that made the whole thing difficult to eat. THE BURRITO WAS $30!! The meal all together was $70 and we got robbed. ROBBED. The service itself was okay, and I will give credit where it's due: the cook actually came out and asked if we liked our food. I was honest and told him we didn't. He took the feedback with a positive attitude, which I genuinely appreciated. But unfortunately, that doesn't change the experience. Between the hour-long wait and the quality of the food, I honestly don't understand how this place has a 4.9 rating. It is BAFFLING to me. I wouldn't come back and honestly, I wouldn't return even if the food were 50% off.
