Don't order from here!! Order two pizza today and they were so under cooked that we couldn't eat them. I called down there and they told me that I had not placed an order with them.... they delivered it to my house. After him getting off the phone and hearing him yell at someone in the background another person told me the would send me two new pizza after another hour the pizza came BURNT and stillllll RAW!! After a referral from HVE we reached out and worked with Deep for a school function at John Muir Elementary School. We served 40 pizzas to kids at the dance. Worst customer service! Don't get me wrong, pizza is great. And never had an issue previously. Last night was one of the few times I ordered delivery, normally we would get a take out about twice a week. Tipped the driver 15% at check out, wish I could take it back now. I have a 15 lb Boston terrier who loves everybody and his joy in life is to say hi to whoever comes to my door. Which he did yesterday. 5-10 minutes after the delivery I got a call from pizza place saying that the driver called saying that my 15 lb monster dog BIT him to which I replied that he is lying and I do have a RING camera that they can come and look at. They kept accusing my dog of biting the driver saying to put him away next time I order the delivery, well there is not going to be a next time, and my intuition is screaming that that was actually a delivery guy who called me accusing. As I am saying, I would gladly provide the RING video to the management if needed, I have it saved. I would totally understand if you guys have called me saying that the driver is afraid of small dogs and my dog running out scared him, but lying straight to my face is nonsense. Will have to go to round table now even though I liked your pizza better. read more

I'm hoping it was just a bad night, because I ordered here once before and liked it. Saturday night, and it was quiet inside. No one was dining in, but there was a person picking up a takeout order, and someone else was waiting for theirs. I'd ordered mine online about 30 minutes before, and their system told me it'd be ready within 20 roughly minutes. Well, it took at least 20 minutes for the DoorDash driver waiting there to get her order, and she was impatient, as she's been waiting for a while before I got there. Then there was confusion over that order which took another five minutes to sort out. Three other people came in to pick up orders they'd phoned in or ordered online. One DoorDash order was ready, one customer had to wait about ten minutes, and another was still there after I left (annoyed). Finally, at least 20 minutes after I'd arrived (meaning at least 50 minutes since I'd ordered and was given a 20 minute ETA), my pizza was ready. Thankfully, it had the correct toppings. However, when I got home ten minutes later, we discovered it was undercooked and tasted as if it had been sitting around. I felt bad for the cashier, as he seemed overwhelmed, but there were at least three people in the kitchen, not one of whom ever peaked out and offered any assistance (or even called out when an order was ready). Mind you, no one was dining in. Imagine if he'd had to wait tables in addition! Also, someone complained the two-liter Pepsi they got wasn't cold, and they were out of red pepper flakes. How does a pizza joint run out of red pepper flakes??? Again, it might have just been a bad night, but it seemed the manager had dropped the ball, big time. read more

I came here for their lunch special which includes a salad and pizza buffet from 11-2 for $7.50. They had four different types of pizza to choose from including pepperoni, cheese, a combo, and chicken one. The employees kept the pizzas well stocked and would place a new one out as soon as they began to run low. The salad bar was what you would expect from a pizza joint and would be much improved by keeping an eye on the lettuce turning. read more

Salad was brown. Manager left one employee during the lunch buffet and she had to run the front, make pizzas and was unable to change the soda syrup. Afterwards the manager approached me and asked if just submitted a review. He asked what it was that he could improve and I answered him. Saw a sign out front that said all you can eat lunch buffet so I decided to give it a try. I walked in to one employee behind the counter and one sitting in a booth. Looking around the place was disgusting. Of the thirteen or so tables only 4 or 5 were cleaned up. The rest having dirty plates strewn about. There was only one other customer sitting in the corner drinking a pitcher of beer to themselves, so there was no excuse for how filthy the place was. What I should have done at that point was leave, but I didn't. I ordered the lunch buffet was given two plates and was pointed to the "buffet". It was literally 3 pieces of old and cold pizza, a few stale breadsticks and a sad looking pile of plain lettuce and dressing. When I asked if more pizza was coming, the worker responded with a lot of attitude that there was. I grabbed the remaining pieces of cold pizza and sat down. It was not good pizza. I waited for more than 15 min with no fresh pizza, got up and left hungry. It was a very bad experience and I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

The franchise owner needs to hire more delivery staff - I ordered online it's supposed to be here in a hour or less (I am right up the street less than 5 min away). My order arrived 1 hour later than the estimate, it took 2 hour to make a pizza and drive it 5 mins away. I took the pizza without paying I suggest others do the same so maybe this cheapskate franchise owner will consider he should hire more employees. This used to be our go-to pizza place; the pepperoni is very tasty! However, their delivery device is poor. We live only a mile away yet our pizza is often only warm when it arrives. Today it didn't arrive at all! The first call was to find out where the pizza was and the employee told me it had been delivered (obviously not to me!). So she said she would contact the driver and hung up. I called back and they then said he was on his way. 20 minutes later I get a tepid pizza. I tell the driver to return it and bring me a hot one. Meanwhile it's now past dinner time and the driver only said"yes sir thank you sir" so who knows what will happen next! This is inexcusable and part of a very bad pattern for this pizzeria. I really want to like this place since I live closeby. I ordered takeout from here in 2019 and never returned. I tried again, yesterday. I was reminded why I will never return again. The customer service, plain and simple, is not good. That, along with just the general vibe there. It's not a good look when you see staff sitting at the back table, doing nothing, in plain view of clientele. If this were my business, I would not allow it. I picked up a pizza yesterday. There was no communication coming from the employee, no greeting. I told her I was there to pickup. " Name?" She hands me the pizza, I pay for it, and then, nothing. My daughter and her friends had raised the money to donate pizza to the people in Shelter during the Covid 19 situation. When I called the owner Harry to deliver pizza he was very happy to deliver the pizza and also gave us a great discount to help the cause. He took an extra effort to deliver the pizza on time and also took care of salads for the people. It is very rare to find these kinds of people to help even when their business is not doing that great because of the COVID situation. Last Saturday 10/15/16 I placed an order for 3 large pizzas for a going away party. What I received was below expectations so I called the store to see if there was something that could be done to rectify the situation. The woman who took my order and took my complaint was very nice and apologetic. I let her know 2 of the pizzas were burnt and 1 didn't look like pizza. Again, she was apologetic and stated she would send 2 NEW pizza asap. About 10 minutes later I received a message that the shift manager called and stated only 1 pizza was really burnt and he would replace only that one. As soon as I got that message I called to find out why he made that decision. He argued that "no other customers called to complain about burnt pizza", so I lying?? But he kept saying yes, 1 of the pizzas was burnt so I'll replace that 1, as if he knew they were burnt. At the end of the conversation he stated he would replace the 2 pizzas if I would return the burnt 2 with the delivery driver. Fine. Once the driver arrived he looked at the 2 burnt pizzas stated the manager knew the 1 was really burnt because he handled it out of the oven, but he wanted to see the other 1. I asked if he knew it was burnt why did he send it?! And if he knew it was burnt why did he argue with me about replacing it?! I will not be placing orders because the customer service is awful. The time spent ordering, waiting to receive a subpar pizza it just not worth it. read more

Staff here has been hit/miss on customer service. Estimated time for pizza being ready has been accurate. Pizza taste and quality mediocre. I find it more greasy and less tasteful than other comparable pizza places for the price. Take your pizza to go because interior is very worn down with booths that offer no support. I'm surprised by all the negative reviews, then again it seems as though many stem from their delivery service which I have never used. I work in Concord and live in Pinole so I usually call in an order and pick it up in 20 minutes or less on my way home. The staff has always been friendly and the pizza is awesome! I can get it delivered from their Richmond location but the staff there is terrible! It is run by very rude indian people who don't know what they are doing. Hopefully this Martinez location can fix their delivery problem because their pizza is great! read more

Pros: - They sell pizza - They deliver Cons: - Pizza was burnt - Delivery driver was rude even though we tipped 20% when placing the order online - Side salad was delivered without dressing. When I called about it, I was told that the dressing I selected isn't available at their location, so too bad... Apparently we're better off without anything at all. To their credit, they offered to send the driver back with a different dressing, but I was over it by this point, and I didn't want to deal with the rude driver again. Why they didn't call to inform me of their lacking dressing selection prior to sending the order out is beyond me. Seems like a relatively simple solution to avoid any potential frustration. Conclusion: - Figuring I can get better service and pizza from pretty much anywhere else in the area. - Really wishing I had honey mustard dressing to go with this dry-ass salad. read more
