We've been here before so knew what to expect. These aren't spa prices so don't expect spa facilities. It's open, with a couple of curtain rooms for those needing to undress/lay down. Yes you hear other voices, but if you want more soundproof rooms go someplace else and pay more. It's generally very quiet. The therapists were excellent, and didn't short us on time. I like a deep tissue massage to help me recover for more skiing and this was perfect. The owner works hard to make people feel welcome, and is up front about prices. Facilities are very clean. My daughter and I spent 2 hours here last week. They were amazing. Best reflexology with hot stones. Also did the full body massage. We used Angel and Emmy? Won't be back. I am a local and used to frequent this place monthly if not bi-weekly. I know it's not Vail hotel massage prices, however, I still expect to relax. It has become increasingly noisy and I held off going for six months. Walked in yesterday and noticed the prices have gone up! Owner wasn't there, as she is always lovely and speaks to us each time. I had several phone call interruptions during my $90 Combo massage. Par for the course. However, during my back massage in the massage room the masseuse talked on the phone while massaging me. That did it for us. When I went to pay, I gave her a $10 tip and she was not happy. She picked up the small sign by the register that shows the recommended tip of $20+ and pointed to what I should be tipping her. Rude. Sorry, but I come here to relax, not to listen to people speak on the phone and talk. We won't be back. I could deal with it when the prices were low, but now that they are at Simply Massage prices, I will go to a professional place that is quiet. read more

They do not care about your well being whatsoever. They chit chat in Chinese while massaging, take phone calls during massage because only one women speaks English in the whole place. I have not been so sore in my whole life except after this waste of money. If you want to spend money to be in pain this place is for you! Went with 2 others for a combo massage. Some parts were good, but be prepared for a few things... *Pain - They were not very receptive to the appropriate amount of pressure and placement, as we all admitted after the massage there were a lot of painful moments. The lady who massaged me used her elbow to go across my spine, which was very uncomfortable. I also got decked in the head by her elbow as she used her forearm to go on my shoulders. Also, the hot stones were very hot and painful. I was writhing on the table for a little bit, and she did not respond at all. *Poor customer service - We got incredibly rude remarks and attitude from 2 employees when we tipped just slightly less than what was "requested" (DEMANDED, really). They were also very pushy, and at the end made comments like "Hurry up! More clients" when we were moving as quickly as they needed us to move. It made for a memory that we will all share, but we were all sore (not in a good way) for a few days. I wouldn't recommend going to this place. read more

My husband and I are here on vacation from New York City. I knew I wanted to get a massage and saw an Ad for their 60 minute for $50 combo "deal." It sounded appealing at first, as everywhere else was so pricey. So we took a chance and we really got what we paid for. Well we really got less than we paid for. What we had was 35 minute of painful, friction generating rub. These are warnings for those who have no idea what this place is about 1. The massage was done fully clothed, which was fine. However, he used a towel to rub my skin and it burnt from the constant friction. 2. The massage was NOT 60 minutes. This guy took 20 minutes to talk to incoming customers. He left at least twice to tend to other people. 3. He rushed the massage as he was told there were other customers waiting. 4. He was asking for tip he didn't deserve and "shoed" us away when we explained he didn't deserve the tip. In the end, we basically need another massage to help recover from this horrible experience. read more

I work in the restaurant industry in Beaver Creek. I scheduled a 60 minute massage on my only day off based on the reviews. I would've made an appointment with my usual provider but they were booked solid. I received a call 30 minutes before my 6:00 pm appt only to be told that my appt has been pushed back to 6:30. I understand that things happen but when I ask if there's anything that can be done she laughed at me. I called back to let her know that her response was very unprofessional. This place is horrendous. Booked a massage that was interrupted 4-5 times. Before I started my massage, Ieft the massage room and left my personal items in the room for about 5-7 minutes. After the massage, as I was getting dressed, I noticed oil used by the massage therapists on my wallet! I was so upset. On top of that, the masseuse had the nerve to ask for a tip. Want a fantastic massage, this is the place. Whether you want a full body massage, or reflexology(foot massage) you can't beat the price or the quality of massage. I've been to the Spa at Cordillera and at the Sonnenalp and while they are very good you pay three to four times as much. We come to Avon every summer for a family vocation and found mountain massage when we went to the restaurant next door. Me and my mom went in for a 90 min full body massage couple days ago and the massage was awesome! I have never had a Chinese massage before and now that I had , I felt like all the other American massages that I had before was terrible compare to this one. Angel was the lady who did my massage and her techniques was amazing ! She was able to find all my pressure points and all the problem areas as well! Even tho they don't speak much English but who cares ? I'm here for a good massage, not to have a conversation. Oh and the price is the cheapest around the area ! highly recommended! read more

Massage isn't terrible, but customer service and overall environment is awful. I was asked for a tip by the lady, while I was pulling my tip out. I immediately put my tip back in, and said the $3 dollars were in there. Secondly, their chair massage is outside (holding the door, next to the dog, which the dog is also tied to) It's very awkward to be doing it in the middle of the city. The two ladies who were massaging other customer were talking to each other in Chinese, making it very uncomfortable for me to be laying there. I would not recommend this place all all! Mountain massage is the way to go if you want to get a really good massage in avon. I haven't been here for over a year now because previously with the old owner I didn't have too good of the experience. This year we come to Avon for the summer as usual and wanted to give another try for the place and found out that they got a new owner, and her name is Anna. First of all she's super nice and friendly when we walked in the shop and explained all the options for the massage and we picked the 60 mins full body one because my back was hurting really bad. When we walked inside , I immediately noticed the difference, the place is co much cleaner and smells really nice. All the massage therapist are new and they both gave really good massages and I am very happy that I came by. Definitely come back again. read more

The session seemed to be over just after it seemingly started which is how relaxing the session was. If I am ever back in this area, another visit is a guarantee.
