I very much wish we had just rented this place the WHOLE time we were in TN. I am sad to leave. This was a perfect jumping off ground to the Great Smokey Mountains and Knoxville. She said that she did it because her dog has a dominant demeanor, but we were in the wrong and she'd have had every right to call us on it. But, this is the first time I've spread the bedspreads on the floor simply because I won't let my bare feet touch the carpet. (There are other reasons to throw them on the floor, but that can apply to any motel). And I walk barefoot EVERYWHERE. But, 5 steps on these greasy carpets skeeved even me out. Ugh
