While we were fortunate enough to find a good spot, our son had to park down the street. Despite being crowded on a Sunday morning, and the place being small, with limited seating, we were shown a very nice corner table by the window. Our server was a very nice woman, athletic-looking, with glasses. She did an excellent job of taking care of us, and was very warm and friendly. My wife had a veggie scramble; I had the breakfast burrito. The burrito was large, with eggs, hash browns, and your choice of meat; I chose sausage. It was smothered in a tasty green chile sauce, along with sour cream. Very delicious, though I might ask for a red sauce next time. So far, Rupert's is our favorite breakfast spot in town.

We started with the cornbread, which had just the right amount of heat and was served with plenty of butter. The elote was perfectly charred and packed with flavor. For dinner, the steak sandwich was outstanding. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the toppings paired beautifully with the crispy-yet-chewy flatbread. The stuffed poblano was massive, absolutely gorgeous, and every bit as delicious as it looked. The pork chop was the true star of the meal--perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We finished with the peach pie, which deserves an award. It was the perfect ending to an incredible meal. We can't wait to come back!

Located on the main drag leading out of town toward Silverton, it seems popular. There is a small parking lot that we were fortunate enough to find spot close to the door. Upon entering, there is a counter to the left and seating to the right. The seating is bar style, along with tables and booths. My wife chose a chicken salad sandwich and I chose the ham and Gruyere sandwich. They come with, in my opnion, rather flavorless tortilla chips. However, my sandwich is really a panini, toasted on the outside. It was very flavorful with a crunch on the outside due to being toasted but a chewy inside due to the ham and cheese. Really, a great texture, in my opinion. My wife felt the cashier had a bit of an attitude when she needed one of the soda dispensers changed out due to be empty. Like he was put out. Overall, we did like Sage Fresh Eats and would come again.
