Very clean! Great communication. Would totally stay here again! We Loved seeing and hearing the birds right outside our back door in the apple trees. The card games and coffee were nice too.

A deer roaming around by the office. This was a pleasant escape.

The check in staff was friendly and helpful. There is free parking. Other amenities include heated pool, which is on the small size but fully functional. Free breakfast of course. There is an exercise room which is well-equipped. A public work station with a computer and printer is convenient. There is laundry which in August 2025 costs $4 for washing and drying. The rooms are large and clean. The bed was comfortable and the pillows did not cause neck pain. The bathroom was large and had a very nice shower. The hotel is a little bit out of town but that means there are no busy roads with lots of noise and traffic. It's a short drive to numerous restaurants. Overall, we liked this hotel a lot and I definitely would stay here again.

There are a few fast food chains nearby, but anything else is a small drive to get to. My room was very well maintained prior and during my stay. Staff here is excellent, from room service to breakfast staff as well as front desk. Everyone very pleasing to interact with. Breakfast is about what you would expect but was always plentiful and warm every morning during my stay.

The hotel has a large lobby with plenty of luggage carts for transporting baggage to rooms. The hotel is located in Silverdale on the Dyes Inlet, a lovely bay connected to the Puget Sound. There are lots of shopping, dining, and tourist activities in the surrounding area, as well as remarkable natural beauty. I absolutely love the waterfront views from this hotel, as well as the lovely pebble beach covered in driftwood. There are several paths for relaxing strolls along the beach, and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the sunset. The hotel offers a swimming pool and hot tub, however the pool was a bit cool the last few times I visited in the winter. Perhaps it will be a bit more enjoyable for peak summer visits - when a cold dip in the pool is most refreshing. The hotel offers complimentary bowls of soup in the evening, which is always a welcome surprise.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and we had a beautiful view from the balcony, which made the stay even more relaxing. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. Parking was also very easy, with plenty of spots and convenient access even for larger vehicles. One of the highlights was the included breakfast. It is buffet style with plenty of options. The coffee selection was surprisingly good, with different types of beans and flavors, along with a nice variety of teas. I really appreciated that they serve real eggs instead of the typical premade ones you often find at hotels, which made a big difference for me. Not forget to mention the wonderful Hawaiian lady in the restaurant. She is amazing and so sweet. My daughters and I just love her!! The only reason I am giving four stars instead of five is the pool area. It feels a bit outdated, the pool was not as clean as expected, and it is on the smaller side. The towels provided for the pool are also quite small. Since I usually choose hotels with nice pool areas for my daughters, this part was a bit disappointing. That said, I still recommend this place and would definitely come back again.

Beautiful view from our room! Our room was clean and spacious. Nice size bathroom. It has a small area with a sink and cabinet. Coffee maker, tiny fridge and microwave! Everything we needed for our stay. Heated pool and Hot tub! Very nice! Good WiFi too! I really enjoyed staying here! It was close to nice restaurants, a golf course and close to the ferry to Canada! The only thing that was a disappointment was the Free breakfast didn't have the basic scrabbled eggs, bacon or sausage. The only eggs they served was cold hard boiled eggs. I opted for yogurt for my protein. Coffee was good. They had a waffle maker and lots of bagels, toast, english muffins, cereal all the basics but no warm eggs , bacon , sausage or hash browns :( Overall my stay was great! I would stay here again.

They are located on the outskirts of Port Angeles by the golf course. They are very close to the park itself and makes for a great place to stay when visiting the park. We reserved a 2 queen room with a golf course view months in advance. They gave us a room on the second floor. The room was nice and cozy. The 2 queen rooms have a nice sized bathroom with a tub/shower combo. My wife and daughter did complain about with the soap and shampoo for their shower. It has been a while since we've seen a bar of soap as most hotels use body wash now. The shampoo is a shampoo and conditioner combo. They did not like the soap or shampoo. Breakfast is served downstairs. It was continental breakfast only. No meats. Just waffles, toast, cereals, juice and coffee. It was good enough for the 2 days that we stayed there. They do have an exercise room with treadmills, ellipticals and dumbbells for you to lift. It was less equipment than at some other hotels, but it was enough for you to get a good workout. This might be the best hotel in Port Angeles. You don't have much of a choice. If you visit Port Angeles and want a nicer hotel, this is the place.

**So first things first, if you want to stay here (or anywhere in Port Ludlow really) you…read moreabsolutely need to do your research. Many of the reviews I've read across the internet prior to staying were people complaining about how there's little food options, it's boring, there's nothing to do, etc. All of the issues that were complained about could be found just by looking at Google Maps and doing a little bit of internet-surveying of the area. Along that lines, the word "resort" is probably subjective to every location. If you're thinking of a resort like you'd see in Vegas or Dubai or a major city, you absolutely need to re-evaluate. For the size of the town and for what there is to do in town (specifically Port Ludlow), this IS a resort. Compared to any major city/tourist destination, no this is not a true resort.** Too long, didn't read short version: DO: - bring things to do (books, board games, crafts, laptop, etc) if you want to hang out in room - bring walking/hiking shoes for trails and paths - come to RELAX and do nothing - do your homework on what's available in the area DON'T: - expect a full resort like in Vegas or any major city - expect Michelin-star food - expect a million things to do on site ACTUAL REVIEW: we stayed there at the end of December, for reference. If you want to find somewhere low key to unwind, somewhere to take walks and connect with nature, somewhere quiet to be with your thoughts or spend quality un-interrupted time with your loved one, this is the place to be. The resort itself is set back a little bit from the main road, but even in the 4:30pm winter darkness we had no problem following the road past the marina to the resort. Check in: - super quick, super efficient. Lady at the front desk was nice and full of smiles (didn't get her name, sorry!). - dog friendly; asked for our dog's name and was acknowledged on their "VIP" board (adorable) - Clean lobby area with small gift shop section, relatively small but everything was tidy and well decorated. - Yes on elevator and luggage trolly things - in mornings they even have fresh brewed coffee for free for you to enjoy. Room: As expected, probably a little better actually. - clean and well kept, no signs of bed bugs (or bugs of any kind) - Had mini fridge and coffee station, but what I loved was the fact that they used a hot water kettle instead of a traditional coffee machine you see in hotels; this makes making coffee or tea much easier - coffee is nothing to write home about, but still nice (I've had worse) - have wine glasses and a bottle opener if you decide to bring your own wine! - Comfy bed, plenty of pillows, and have extra pillows and blanket in the (large) closet. - lounge chairs had thin padding so if you are not well endowed in the rear end, it may hurt to sit for a long time but we just put blankets or pillow for extra padding. - Heater worked just fine, nice fireplace (but more for aesthetics than heat). - Windows and blinds had no problems opening if needed - Small TV but still visible from the bed so no problems with us. - No housekeeping service but you can ask for refills of things you need at front desk. - consistent and strong wifi Bathroom: - The best part (for my husband anyway) was the tub; in our room, it opened up into the view directly of the marina and it was so nice to be able to soak and look out the window. - Clean and plenty of towels. - Toilet paper was adequate (trust me I've had some really really awful toilet paper) - bath towels were comfy - shower was really pretty nice - provided some bath salts for your tub if you wanted it. - 2 robes for you to lounge in! The Fireside Restaurant: ate dinner, 2 breakfasts and happy hour for the days we were there - good solid food for an out-of-the-way resort - Everything tasted fresh, was delicious, and generous serving. - have happy hour - AMAZING views on patio (thanks Liz!) with heat lamps - We did one of the breakfast in room and they did actually offer it to us in to-go containers in a bag, so please don't worry about needing to carry a large tray up to your room. - Can be pricey though but didn't feel like we severely overpaid. - Dog friendly as long as you are ok with sitting on the patio. - Big shoutout to Morgan and Elizabeth for being the best servers ever! Grounds: - well kept, grass mowed and kept clean - Neat garden/hedging, probably prettier in spring/summer - no specific dog potty area, but no smell of dog poop/urine that you would normally find in places that are dog friendly - Has walking path that goes down to a small beach area - plenty of walking area near the resort and around the yacht club area. - Plenty of parking, doesn't feel sketchy or unsafe at all. Check out the marina store just down the road if you get the chance (they even have snacks and food if you want to bring some back to your room).

The restaurant is small and fills quickly so, without a prior reservation, we had to go to a suboptimal restaurant.
