Quick overnight trip for a girls night and a day of sightseeing. Check in was quick and easy online options. Located near Walmart and a few places to grab something to eat. Great view from our room window. Room appeared clean although there was hair all over the place. The coffee pot had hair in the filter area where the water goes. The door wouldn't always shut completely so we had to make sure we slammed it to secure it. Bed was comfortable, room was spacious for the two of us. Hot breakfast was the basic continental setup. Wasn't interested it that. Did enjoy the workout room wish I had my swimsuit.

Was told by front desk that this hotel was built only a year ago ( really new! ) Hotel amenities include a complimentary breakfast from 6:30am-9:00am. Ranging from scrambled eggs, cheese omelets, bacon, sausage, waffle station, fresh fruit ( strawberries, bananas or apple), orange juice and apple juice, oatmeal, yogurt, bagels, toast, english muffin, teas and coffee. There is a spacious entrance when you walk in and a little corner market for last minute items such as mouthwash, tylenol, drinks and small food item snacks. Seems like the place could hold a conference if needed, a warm open fireplace is visible in the front as well. The gym is also very clean and fully equipped with a water station to fill your bottles (down with plastic!). Rooms are small, but well thought out. Each room even the small guest room has a work station, tv and small mini fridge with microwave and a mini coffee station. The reason why I'm rating this place only to 4 stars..... is due to some things I've noticed with cleanliness..... First off. Carpet ( doesn't matter if it's in the room, hallway or elevator- wherever there is carpet. It is dirty! ) I see Hotel staff members carrying the vacuum around. So, not sure if it's just a small detail they forgot or maybe their vacuum is just terrible? The staff all seem pretty welcoming and nice. From front desk, calling front desk, cleaning crew/housekeeping, breakfast station. Everyone seems really nice and helpful. I had needed a fresh set of towels and a housekeeping staff member was very nice and handed me a fresh set of towels. We did check the bed for anything weird and besides 1 hair didn't find anything too worrisome and unusual, but we did also wipe everything down (times of covid). Housekeeping doesn't enter the rooms unless requested to minimize contact which was fine with me. Besides needing a fresh towel set after a few days, we were pretty happy with our stay. Check in is at 3:00pm and there was no wait. Checkout is 12:00pm Had no issues there either. Location is great! 2 miles roughly from downtown Poulsbo and surrounded by fast food places nearby the Hotel. Overall, I would return to this hotel.

Pleasantly surprised with the quality of the hotel. Welcoming guest service upon check in with adequate accommodations. Clean, comfortable, and quiet room in a good location in an otherwise empty roadside area. Close to a Walmart. Decent typical breakfast buffet. Affordable option with a surprisingly lovely view.

Nearby yummy and affordable sonic burger

Spotlessly clean, super friendly staff, decent breakfast. Only cons are the small pool and no hot tub.

It was very hard to rest. We also wouldn't mind if they upgraded or enhanced the interior design a bit. It's a bit sparse in the rooms; for instance, it would be nice if they jazzed up the jacuzzi area inside the rooms that have them, and also jazzed up the hot tub area outside (such a PNW thing!). Pluses - great staff, good breakfast, and ample space to walk your pet outside. Convenient.

Two chairs and large TV nice too. Beds seemed really firm upon initial sit test but ended up sleeping fine and room seemed fairly quiet even having someone next to us. Really enjoyed the warm breakfast offering. That morning it was self-made waffles, sausage links, mini cheese egg omelettes, various breads and tasty muffins, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cold cereal, juice, milk & coffee. Perfect before checking out and starting your day. Cons: the toilet and tub were together ( separate from sink counter) and in tight quarters, toilet too low and too tight to wall making your elbow hitting the toilet paper roll and awkward to use. Had a dog, nice they accept but charged $60 (no dog treats) if weigh 50lbs+!! Odd they put dog guests next to others without. Offer coffee in the breakfast dining area all day but was barely warm both times we went. Ended up just warming in our room microwave. Should offer more TV channels/cable etc. Other wise would still stay again, probably without the dog.

This hotel is always a great stay. This was the first time we had an issue. I went to the breakfast…read morearea to make a bagel for my son and one of the managers was completing the hiring process for a few employees seated at the eating tables. I overhead the manager talking about waiving the 30 minute break and audit implications and telling the new hires that they could take a 10 minute break if they needed it in their car or wherever they wanted. The manager went on to say that if 30 minute break was really needed it could be taken and at one point there was a comment about signing out. I was just trying to toast my bagel and put some cream cheese on it for my son but it was impossible not to overhear the conversation. To me it felt really unfair as I don't think these new hires could say anything otherwise to these comments because they were accepting the job. When I left I asked a room cleaner about it and she said yes it is a labor practice issue but then said she likes working here very much and her boss is great. I asked because I really like the staff here and I was hoping I was just confused about what I thought I was hearing. Upon check out the manger in a very aggressive manner showed me the law about how an employee can waive their rights. I let her know my concern was that her new hires might not feel comfortable speaking their mind. She responded by saying they would feel comfortable and that she mentioned that aspect in the very early hiring stage too. She went on to scold me for not coming to her and I let her know that as a patron I do not have to follow any specific standards and really just wanted to get the heck out of that office. As I drove away with my son I felt really upset and could not get the rude look she gave out of my head. It was truly one of the most unusual hotel experiences I have ever experienced. It has been hard to get this person out of my mind her hostility was palpable and now I see I am not alone: Front Desk Leadership: A recurring complaint describes a front desk manager as having "extreme anger issues" and acting as if they own the property. This individual is allegedly responsible for making the work environment miserable for the rest of the staff. Lack of GM Presence: Reviews suggest the General Manager is rarely on-site, delegating significant authority to this front desk manager without sufficient oversight. This has led to a culture where staff feel forced to "go along with the nastiness" to avoid conflict.

The tower rooms are very conveniently attached to the casino and easy to get back-and-forth to your room. If you stay in a Resort Room, that building is not attached and you have to walk through the parking lot to get to the casino. I would say that that's the only downfall during the winter time of staying over there. But that is where the pool is so it just depends on what you're looking for at your stay. I have no complaints about the room, very clean and nice decor. My husband wished there was room service for breakfast the next morning but that is not available. I also wish they had valet parking. There is not nearly enough parking in the parking lot so if you don't find parking, you have to park in the parking garage and then walk all the way around back in to the hotel. Hotel staff were very friendly and the checkout process was easy. The second part of this review is going to be on the service from my work holiday party. The room was beautifully set up and the food was delicious. The staff that were coming around refilling water and taking plates were very attentive and friendly. We really liked Richard. The one employee that we encountered was the bartender assigned to our room. My first encounter from her I thought she was just having a bad day and I let it go. Not welcoming or friendly at all. Not even a smile. But as the night went on people started talking and it seemed everyone was having a not so good encounter from Robyn. She did not ID anyone all night, except my coworker that asked for a mocktail. She was rude to some people and unprofessional to others. It just progressively got worse. Yes the management will be reaching out to the contact they have at the casino to let them know. I was just so taken back about how somebody could go out of their way to be so rude at a fun holiday party. Other than that, the experience was great and I would highly recommend renting an event room there. Is it worth the drive?...yes

I was there until around 2 a.m., used my players card the entire time, and ended up losing over $1,200. Despite that, I didn't receive even a small amount of free play. What's frustrating is that I had $50 in free play available just the week prior, and now it's gone--even after significant play. That feels inconsistent and unfair. Loyalty programs should reflect actual play, and this didn't feel rewarding at all. Overall, while the property itself is great, the casino rewards system, lack of bonuses, and minimal return left a bad impression. I've been coming here since 2014, and as a long-time customer, I would expect my level of play and loyalty to be recognized with better incentives and a more consistent rewards experience.

They had a decent sized kitchen, fully equipped with a full sized refrigerator, dishwasher, and an induction cooktop. Pots/pans, toaster, coffee maker, dishes and utensils were also included. The staff were also very accommodating whenever we requested anything such as towels or dish soap, and if we needed their help with anything. They have 4 washers and 4 dryers for guests to use (I'm not sure if there were more upstairs). It was $1 for the washer, and 0.25 for 10 mins of drying. They offered a complimentary breakfast for guests in the lobby. Some of the items were individual sized milk, cereal, fruit cup, sliced apple packs, boiled eggs, pastries, and sometimes breakfast sandwiches. They are usually really good at refilling the refrigerated items if they notice it's running low....but get there early if you want your coffee. I usually picked up breakfast around 8:30-8:50 and sometimes the coffee canisters are already empty, which is understandable. It isn't a big deal because you can make a pot in your own room, or you can go across the street to the Mini Nex and just buy some there. The only problem I noticed with our stay was that the rug around the AC unit in the bedroom was soaking wet. We would turn the AC/heater off whenever we left the hotel but it would still be wet. We mentioned it to the house keepers and they put towels around it for about a few days, but it was still wet. We didn't mind too much because we were out and about most of the time so it didn't bother us. Even with this complaint, I still give our stay at the Navy Lodge-Bangor a 5 star rating because of the professionalism of the staff, and the price that can't be beat!

The rooms were reasonably priced. The rooms were very clean. Housekeeping staff were all great and kept our room nice and clean throughout our lengthy stay. Everyone at the front desk were helpful and professional but Grace at the front desk was amazing. Grace was friendly yet professional and went out of her way to accommodate our needs with an ADA room due to my recent back surgery and car accident after arriving to the area. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and so firm/hard that neither my husband or myself had a good nights sleep. Each morning we would wake up feeling like we were run over by a truck. The free breakfast was good. Very limited but worked fine for us. The coffee was terrible. The AC/Heater unit in our room was unpredictable, and made it hard to find a comfortable temperature to set it at. We had a few interactions with the manager, Elizabeth Levit. She was rude and unprofessional. It's obvious by her demeanor that she does not like her job. Luckily we didn't have to deal the manager often during our stay, but the few times we did were unpleasant.
