    King size bed layout.

At first, reading some of the other reviews had me a little worried about this place. But, I quickly realized that most of the disgruntled reviews were from people trying to party in the wrong part of the hotel. Anyways, back to the hotel. Upon checking in, I was greeted by a very friendly front desk clerk. She was very nice and explained all the hotel amenities along with any applicable hours of operations for casino bars and food spots. The hotel itself looked and smelled new. It had a nice flow to its layout and seemed well built. Upon entering my room, I was surprised by the cleanliness and quality of the room. The room had ample space and had a very welcoming feel to it. The linens on the bed were soft and the bed itself was very comfortable. Actually, the room chair and lounger were also very comfortable. The flat screen TV was very nice and had pretty good picture quality. I was pleasantly surprised by a mini fridge under the TV to keep my drinks cool. The bathroom itself was also very nice and well built. The towels were adequate for hotel towels, nothing special here. What I did think was great was the rain style shower. The only thing I thought that was out of place during my entire stay was the coffee brewer. It's kept in the bathroom, about 7 feet from the toilet. It seems wrong in my head, but maybe it's just me. Overall this is a great place to stay, especially for the price.

This is a beautiful hotel close to Poulsbo, WA. Classy and modern and very clean. Happy with the size of the bathroom and it has a great rainfall shower head. We will try the restaurant tomorrow as the food looked amazing as we walked by. Casino is close by and they had lots of fun machines. Definitely would stay here again

The check in staff was friendly and helpful. There is free parking. Other amenities include heated pool, which is on the small size but fully functional. Free breakfast of course. There is an exercise room which is well-equipped. A public work station with a computer and printer is convenient. There is laundry which in August 2025 costs $4 for washing and drying. The rooms are large and clean. The bed was comfortable and the pillows did not cause neck pain. The bathroom was large and had a very nice shower. The hotel is a little bit out of town but that means there are no busy roads with lots of noise and traffic. It's a short drive to numerous restaurants. Overall, we liked this hotel a lot and I definitely would stay here again.

The home is large, fully furnished, plenty of seating for everybody and plenty of amenities for us to relax and enjoy our evening. The linens are soft, beds are comfortable and rooms are well decorated. The entire home was very clean and well kept with games and books for everybody to enjoy! We had six adults and three children for the night and never felt crowded! Doug is amazing and very quick to respond with questions or any other needs. We locked ourselves out while watching the fireworks (the front door locks automatically) and he responded within just a few minutes so we could get in out of the cold! The only issue with the home is that it's impossible to enjoy all the home has to offer during the winter with check in not until 4:00 pm and check out at 11:00 am. We had absolutely no time to appreciate the beautiful view, well maintained yard and large back deck. Perhaps during the winter the check in could be a bit earlier since it gets dark so early. We stayed in Guesthouse #1 and would highly recommend it to any large family or group staying in the area.

There are several paths for relaxing strolls along the beach, and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the sunset. The hotel offers a swimming pool and hot tub, however the pool was a bit cool the last few times I visited in the winter. Perhaps it will be a bit more enjoyable for peak summer visits - when a cold dip in the pool is most refreshing. The hotel offers complimentary bowls of soup in the evening, which is always a welcome surprise.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and we had a beautiful view from the balcony, which made the stay even more relaxing. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. Parking was also very easy, with plenty of spots and convenient access even for larger vehicles. One of the highlights was the included breakfast. It is buffet style with plenty of options. The coffee selection was surprisingly good, with different types of beans and flavors, along with a nice variety of teas. I really appreciated that they serve real eggs instead of the typical premade ones you often find at hotels, which made a big difference for me. Not forget to mention the wonderful Hawaiian lady in the restaurant. She is amazing and so sweet. My daughters and I just love her!! The only reason I am giving four stars instead of five is the pool area. It feels a bit outdated, the pool was not as clean as expected, and it is on the smaller side. The towels provided for the pool are also quite small. Since I usually choose hotels with nice pool areas for my daughters, this part was a bit disappointing. That said, I still recommend this place and would definitely come back again.

I'm here to review the things that actually matter during a hotel stay: * Bed size & comfort * Pillow game * Shower facilities * Towel game * Amenities that stand out Now then ... Jen and I sleep on a Queen bed at home, so every King-size hotel bed arrives with one simple promise: "This better be an upgrade." Thankfully, The Point Casino & Hotel delivers there. The pillow-top mattress absolutely carried its weight and made for a comfortable night's sleep. BUT. Why are we still doing square pillows in 2026? C'mon now, Point. Get it together. Decorative pillows are one thing, but these felt like geometry homework sitting on the bed. Now the shower game? Surprisingly strong. The rainfall-style shower was easily one of the standout features of the room. Ours even had the dual-head setup -- a standard shower head plus a lower horizontal shower head that can run simultaneously. It felt less like a hotel shower and more like I accidentally unlocked a spa side quest. Towel game? Respectable. Not luxury-resort fluffy, not sandpaper gym towels either. Solid middle-of-the-road performance. Amenities-wise, the room leaned modern: * Plenty of USB and power outlets exactly where you want them * Large TV * Comfortable lounge seating * Clean, updated feel throughout Now, for context, Jen and I were there for a grand total of 9.5 hours ... and roughly 8 of those were spent asleep. That means the hotel accomplished its primary mission successfully. One important note, however: this is an old-school casino that still offers both smoking and non-smoking areas. If you're sensitive or allergic to cigarette smoke, keep that in mind before booking. Unfortunately, my fiancée's allergies flared up pretty badly during our stay, so it's worth considering if smoke exposure is a concern for you. Final verdict: The Point Casino & Hotel understands comfort better than it understands pillow aesthetics. Strong shower game, solid bed comfort, modern amenities, and a room that did exactly what we needed it to do. Those square pillows, however, are committing hospitality crimes against sleep posture.

I overhead the manager talking about waiving the 30 minute break and audit implications and telling the new hires that they could take a 10 minute break if they needed it in their car or wherever they wanted. The manager went on to say that if 30 minute break was really needed it could be taken and at one point there was a comment about signing out. I was just trying to toast my bagel and put some cream cheese on it for my son but it was impossible not to overhear the conversation. To me it felt really unfair as I don't think these new hires could say anything otherwise to these comments because they were accepting the job. When I left I asked a room cleaner about it and she said yes it is a labor practice issue but then said she likes working here very much and her boss is great. I asked because I really like the staff here and I was hoping I was just confused about what I thought I was hearing. Upon check out the manger in a very aggressive manner showed me the law about how an employee can waive their rights. I let her know my concern was that her new hires might not feel comfortable speaking their mind. She responded by saying they would feel comfortable and that she mentioned that aspect in the very early hiring stage too. She went on to scold me for not coming to her and I let her know that as a patron I do not have to follow any specific standards and really just wanted to get the heck out of that office. As I drove away with my son I felt really upset and could not get the rude look she gave out of my head. It was truly one of the most unusual hotel experiences I have ever experienced. It has been hard to get this person out of my mind her hostility was palpable and now I see I am not alone: Front Desk Leadership: A recurring complaint describes a front desk manager as having "extreme anger issues" and acting as if they own the property. This individual is allegedly responsible for making the work environment miserable for the rest of the staff. Lack of GM Presence: Reviews suggest the General Manager is rarely on-site, delegating significant authority to this front desk manager without sufficient oversight. This has led to a culture where staff feel forced to "go along with the nastiness" to avoid conflict.
