This business was updated a couple years ago with a bank of new front loader washers and dryers. It's not the same laundromat that got the low star reviews. YELP needs to let owners have a reset. The site is clean. So are the machines. No dirt or dog hair lurking to sneak into your clothes. You can use coins or a credit card. There is a change machine. There is a friendly and helpful attendant who will tell you how best to use the machines. The owner was also on site. Nice young man. No problem getting a dryer after my wash was done even though the place was busy. A big load of clothes was rinsed completely. You get your monies worth. I highly recommend this establishment. It was a relief to be in a well maintained laundry because my apartment machines are gross and moldy. I'm actually looking forward to doing the wash. Then grabbing lunch. read more

Had a problem with a washer not accepting my quarters, called number listed on the wall. The man heard my problem asked what washer number, and set it to free, remotely. It worked...he then showed up twenty minutes later... the on-site person had come back and retrieved my quarters. I told them I owed them, he said "Don't worry about it." My experience today 12/242024 had a very disappointing day .... The experience I had today. What's uncalled for and handled very unprofessional.... Some woman came in looking for her white comforter, which I had 2I walked in with and washed as Elena directed. Looking at my drer and showed this woman, my white dryer full, a betting with my white competitor.... Elena allowed this woman to open my dryer and take my comforter I told elena, that was mine, and I came in with two, not one Elena allowed this woman to take my belongings, and I would like reimbursed for my day and my white comforter Never in my life would I expected to have this experience and a very, very upset I asked Elena for the phone number to the owner. She told me to look it up online, very rudely, an I as a customer. I'm not okay with any of this. And we'd like reimbursed for my belongings... I spent a hundred and sixty dollars doing my wash and have my things stolen.And directed by your employee to my dryer to take freely on her will I told this woman that was mine and she grabbed it and walked away and said, no, it's not.. The place is fifty! Floor looks like it hasn't been washed in weeks. And the machines are very dirty too. Only two chairs and carts! I had to carefully move my clothes from the washer to the dryer without dropping them on the floor Very disappointing to find such a Drastically difference from my first time here. I suggest you ignore the Yelp reviews prior to June 2023, as they no longer apply. All new heavy duty Dexter washer / dryers installed in June 2023. Complete revamp of the building. I HAVE NEVER FELT MORE DISRESPECTED BY A BUSINESS OWNER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. As soon as we walked in, the owner was trying to make us put our clothes in his "triple load" machine. FYI - it is NOT a triple load and our clothes did not fit. We used the two smaller washers like we had planned on doing originally and he appeared angry that we didn't listen to him. He said it was the same price when it was actually a better value to use the two smaller ones. It seems he just wanted us to spend more. He kept telling us not to fill the loads too full, which we understood. So, we didn't. We filled one load with clothes and the second with bed sheets and towels. We did not go past the mark he showed us. While our clothes were washing (or so we thought they were) we walked around the streets and set a timer on our phones for 30 minutes so we knew when to head back. Timer went off and we went back. As soon as we walked in he barges towards us and insists we did not listen to him about loading too much and he stopped our washing load. Keep in mind, we already paid! He said in order to proceed we need to pay again and use an additional washing machine. We explained to him that we filled the washer to exactly where he asked, but he continued to call us liars. This is awful customer service you guys and if you can avoid this place, do it at all costs! This is the only laundry mat in Mount Shasta city, which is probably why this owner does not feel the need to treat customers with respect. We strongly felt that he was judging us by our age. Another customer who witnessed all of this shared with us that he has had trouble with the owner as well. It is such a shame because we LOVE Mount Shasta city, but truly feel for the people that have no other option but to come here. read more

The owner seems to have changed his tune but when I met him right after he took over, he told me to close my hood and get the he!! out of there before he calls the cops among other very rude things. One of the rudest people I ever met but I guess he figured out I was local and he hasn't bothered me since. We have actually had sensible talks since that day. read more

This facility is clean and the dryers work great as well as the washers. My beef is one will never know when the facility will be closed for maintenance. Last week I was told that it will be closed the following Thursday, so I planed my laundry day on Wednesday, and it was closed for maintenance. I am coming from Shasta Forest in McCloud which is 1/2 hour away. My suggestion is post when the Maintenance days will be, that way people will know when it is closed. read more

This place is DISGUSTING. My boyfriend and I had to come here due to an unfortunate skunk related event. One of the washers we used left our clothes with soap which required us to pay more to rewash. Then after our clothes were washed and skunk smell free (Yay!) we tossed our clothes into two dryers with dryer sheets (which we also purchased here). Upon getting our clothes out of the dryers they REEKED. All dryers smell like homeless people, one smells of straight up vomit. It is utterly disgusting. Save your money, you're better off washing your clothes in the river. read more

Just wasted $45 to do laundry. side note it is advertised that some of their machines can hold triple the load with a max weight of 35lbs but the single loads max weight is 18...now if I remember correctly 18+18=36 so that would mean the "triple load" is 1lb less than a double load but for twice as much as the single load... read more

No attendant. No sink or water or paper towels. Recently, the dryers' heat level has been reduced to 35% of what it was in years past, so clothes will not get dry or sterilized. Worst laundromat I have ever experienced. Often the coin changer or hot water or something is broken and stays broken for weeks, or a whole season. The new owner simply doesn't care, and likes to argue or criticize. The retired previous owner was one of the kindest practical men you would ever meet, and earned the respect of everyone. read more

My issue is the fact that there is not a single trash can by the vacuums/car wash! They used to have many, so I'm not sure why that changed but now there is trash all over the place. Are we supposed to take the trash out of our car, vacuum it and put trash back in? They also sell merchandise like little trees and car towels, are we to take that with us? Come on now. read more
