It is by far the priciest store in the strip mall heaven that is North Windham. They carry all kinds of cute kitchen wares, spices, and other decorative home decor. This place reeks of "going up to our cute Maine summer camp" from some out of state location. I don't know many locals who would find this place enticing because of the high price point, but it was fun to browse. I won't be frequenting this place. I can't afford to. But if my rich friends from out of town want to see the "shop in Windham" that's not a chain store, this will be where I take them. It might also be a great place to find a last minute gift...

One can't get that attention at a big box store, even if the aisles are wide. That said, there are better stores for some items, but knowing where to shop for what is a customer's responsibility. I really like the convenience, friendly staff and good quality of merchandise at Cooks, and highly recommend them - no reservations at all if you plan your shopping intelligently.

My wife and I recently had a house built and decided to use Classic Flooring for most of our hard…read moreflooring and bathroom shower/tub surrounding needs. My wife, who was the major decision maker, met with Amy to help with the large selections and the planning of each rooms flooring/tiling layout. Amy worked with my wife, helping her select high-end quality products while remaining within her allotted budget. For the living room, kitchen and dining room flooring she selected a grey and white porcelain planking tile called "Tigerwood". This is such a quality tile with a sophisticated look and we have had several family members and friends complement this stylish floor as they first enter our home. For the bathrooms we chose three different tile types. First, was Lindon Point in the color Grigio, the second choice was Davenport Ash, and the final tile selection was Regency Mica. Each one of these ceramic tiles complemented each bathroom by creating a beautiful neutral balance matched by the elegant shower and bathtub tile surround. The hardwood flooring chosen was a 4-inch maple, the color "natural" in a matte finish. This wood floor is extremely high quality with a gorgeous pattern. Our bonus room was carpeted in Shaw blocking pattern in the color silver. We also have received several complements on this carpet style. We decided to have a gas fireplace in our living room and it needed tile surrounding it. Classic Flooring again hit a homerun by suggesting Absolute Black polished granite tile and it looks amazing! Both Dino and Brian did a phenomenal job with our installation needs. Their attention to details and workmanship went beyond our expectation. So, if you are thinking about building a new home or simply adding flooring to your existing one, my wife and I would highly recommend Classic Flooring.

He made a huge mess throughout my house, porch, and driveway - well beyond the room he was working in, and it was left for me to clean. He damaged one of my walls and I had to repair it and repaint it myself. I came home one day to him shirtless and smoking a cigarette in my driveway, and another day he worked just an hour or two, with his child with him, then left to go to another job and my job ended up being pushed out passed the planned completion date. When I brought my concerns to Classic Flooring I asked for some concession on the cost of the job since it was a total of $5300 and $3200 of that was for labor alone, and clearly the labor was subpar. They offered me a $50 credit which was really not satisfactory or appropriate.

I'm almost a kid in a candy store when walking through a place like this. I "promised" a friend of…read moremine that I wouldn't go crazy in this store, but one step into Xanadu and I completely forgot what I was in there to purchase. I enjoyed perusing the aisles and displays to look for things I didn't even know I needed. There's a fine line between 'want' and 'need' and that line is easily erased here. The prices are the first thing you'll notice. While they are not necessarily "high" for quality items and equipment, they are a little on the pricier side. Perhaps that's unfair to say since all the Le Creuset stuff is placed right in the front of the store. I did end up getting some charming plates (I already have the perfect dish in mind) and a few other little gadgets that I decided I ultimately "needed". They are friendly here. Though I did not ask for assistance personally, I overheard someone else ask one of the gents working there about the difference between the cheaper and more expensive pans and he was quite thorough with his layman's response. I love stores like this but somehow I felt that they had just a little bit less variety than I would have liked. They do seem to favor a handful of brands, leaving options pretty minimal. Still, it is a big space and the selection/quality decimates a place like Target or BB&B. Yes. I'm sure I'll return someday soon.
