This place is the coolest little pub in OTR. Saw a concert there and while it was a late show, there was plenty of entertainment by way of classic arcade and pinball in the basement, a nice and spacious patio, and friendly bartenders who handled the massively crowded bar really well. Decent prices on beer, with booths in the back if you would prefer to be able to have a conversation. Really great sound and the decor/vibes were all good. read more

Great pub spot. Reminds me of FSU college days... good music, cheap pints and good food. I ordered BLT. It was fresh and good...not fabulous but good. It's designed to line your stomach for more drinking vs an elevated dining experience but still appreciate quality, and for that, it was perfect! Great beer selection and friendly staff...go here! read more

I've been frequenting MOTR for about a year now off and on, and it is one of the coolest places. With free music most nights, it is always a go to for my friends and I. What keeps me coming back the most though is the veg food they have! So much goodness, with vegan chilli, tater tots, and veggie burgers. The service here is always prompt and friendly, giving you as much or as little conversation as needed. Plenty of local beers are offered, along with some cocktails and decent prices. I'm grateful MOTR supports our local artists and breweries; we need more of that! read more

I went here for brunch and it was delicious. I'm a big fan of breakfast sandwiches so I ordered the Motr Muncher. YUM! The chipotle mayo pulled it all together. Plus tots! I also ordered a Bloody Mary which was also great. Although I like mine spicy so watch out if you don't. There were only a few people in there and you order at the bar, so service was fast. The bartender was friendly too. Deco is awesome. Lots of wall art and posters to look at. They have a stage set up, so it'd be cool to come back here for live music sometime. read more

Motr is like a bar you'd find in Northside, only it's in OTR. It's pretty divey compared to most of the newer bars in this part of town, but the prices don't seem to match that. It's pricey for anything other than say PBR. Everything is sticky and every time I've been here, the bar felt like it was one tender too short to handle the demand. However, if you like live, local music, this is your place. You may leave feeling a little deaf though. It's a small bar with pretty loud music. Despite my review, I had a pretty good time here the other night. But I had to have a couple of drinks to get there. read more

I like this bar. It's dark, has a nice atmosphere, decent beer selection. Best part: they don't mind if you sit there and make out with your boyfriend. It's kinda loud so really, you can't talk unless you're whispering into each others ear. (which is kinda hot.) So yeah, go here for some PDA. read more

Amazing burger, amazing fries, amazing interior! This burger came with all the fixings and the patty itself, oh my heavenly! This has to be the best burger seasoning I have had yet. I just wish it was a bit bigger. They have a couple of specialty burgers- some with bacon, onion rings, and portabella mushrooms. Fries are fresh and hot. Nothing like its been sitting under a heat lamp. They have so many different types of mac and cheese and a deliscious looking brunch menu. I definitely want to come back that next time! The interior is very trendy and hipstery. I love it! There are fliers for local shows and OTR events. There is space for live music and shows during the evenings and weekends. Unfortunately, no one was playing when we stopped in. Then again it was 2 in the afternoon haha. read more

Great music venue in OTR featuring affordable drinks and low/no cover local bands. This spot totes a long bar in the front with a stage all in the main room. While the front room becomes cramped it really opens up as you step through, with a basement level full of pinball machines and other games and seating and a back patio and fire pit. What I love most however is the local bands it features and the low cost drinks. Definitely one of the prime spots on Main Street. read more

If you haven't been to MOTR's Sunday Brunch, you are missing out. With a creative brunch menu and menu of weekly brunch specials, there are eclectic choices to please anyone. Brunch at MOTR is very low-key. No loud bands, just your favorite tunes going on the jukebox. Coffee is self-service and quite good. You walk up to the bar and place your order with the bartender who gives you a number for your order. You also go up to the bartender with your number to pay, as well. If you have the opportunity to go to MOTR's brunch with a group of people, make sure everyone orders a selection of entrees so you can taste a bit of them all. You don't want to miss out on any of this goodness. I recommend the breakfast tacos with chorizo. One of my dining companions had a huge waffle which was simply decadent. I had one of the specials, the Trucker's Breakfast Casserole. The egg/cheese mixture was thick, fluffy and pleasing to the eye. It wasn't your mother's breakfast casserole, as this had the addition of cilantro to give it a unique flavor. It was served with mixed greens with a light vinagrette dressing which not only added to the presentation but was quite tasty, as well. When the clock struck 11, I treated myself to a post-meal bloody mary. It had pretty good flavor, but was a little heavy on the horseradish; nonetheless, a nice finish to my meal. Whether you're meeting friends or grabbing a bite with your laptop in a corner by yourself, treat yourself to a great culinary experience at one of the more surprising venues for one. read more

Uh oh. I could sit here all day. Why does Cincinnati always do this to me? Why must you build such abodes of imbibery that are so damn cozy that I want to stuff my entire life into one suitcase, take it with me everywhere, and stay as long as possible at bars like MOTR. A giant old wooden, bar, beset with a crazy mirror, beset with somewhat stoic bartenders (which is fitting considering it always feels like 1903 in OtR). After a long day of work & play, I wanted to grub on down, and that I did thanks to this kitchen. A burger- mac n cheese combo sounds brutal, yet brilliant. Steadfast service with a strong tap list. On my 2nd visit, I had a Listermann's Smoked Bock. Yes, please. And thank you. Thank you OtR folk & MOTR for doin' your thing... it just makes sense to have a high-ceiling'd, live music bar with a cellar with tables and pinball downstairs. This is exactly like when you see a well-designed bridge, or park, or skyscraper, you just know and feel perfect design when you see it. read more

I was destined to inhabit a seat at MOTR. After striking out earlier in the morning (they open for Saturday brunch at 11am...not 10am!) we found our way back to this charming, no-cover-live-music-every-night bar post event extravaganza. We needed seating. Beers. Rib-stickin' food. And we found it. After slipping into a comfy booth near the back we quickly trooped up to the bar (no table service, get up! ok) for a round of beers from the carefully-culled beer list, and a menu. After perusing, "ooooohing" over a few items...we finally decided. How to order food: -Get menu from bar -Order food from bartender -Take food order ticket back to kitchen -Wait for friendly kitchen man to deliver your food (you'll get a #) Ok, just to clear up any confusion...now back to the MOTR food fest we got ourselves into. Who knew we were so hungry...and that we'd end up somewhere so perfectly suited for feeding us swiftly, and with good items? Huzzah! 1. BLT w/ farm fresh egg ($2 additional for egg, worth it). Comes with wonderfully toasty fries. 2. Mac 'n Cheese: I do believe no noodles were left at the end of the attack. A little pep in the step of these elbows, baked into crocked perfection. 3. Shroom Burger - kind of a downer, but a favorite among the veggies I'd assume. A little "wet" and sloppy. 4. Soft pretzel and cheese: standard and scooped up swiftly. The downstairs room provides a nice respite as well, and the place was comfortably jivin' to the live band in the front of house. Tin ceilings are a nice touch, and this place is all class, no ass. Just cool crowds drinking good beer, downing great food, commisserating, conversating, swaying, and doing their thing. As I am a tourist, I cannot comment on the neighborhood or any other useful items...but Alex S gives it a nod of approval (and speaking of, where is his review!?), and I'm inclined to agree. I did take my pictures with the three little piggies down the street near where I parked...parking was a little hit or miss, but the pigs were super cool. Will need to go back for brunch! at 11. Get the BLT. With an egg. Total for 7 or so beers, plus food...$58 + tip. BAM. read more

So review in 2 parts: (1) MOTR at night (2) MOTR brunch. (1) Love the amount of free music that can be seen nearly every night at MOTR. Yeah, it get's super loud, and yeah it may not be the best set up from a "quality of audio" stand-point, but there are some really great bands that come through! It gets pretty crowded on the weekend, and isn't a place to go to have a heart to heart (or a conversation, really). But can you really turn down free music (and some pretty great beer options)? They also have a patio, which is great when the weather is nice (with a fire-pit for those cooler nights), and if you DO want to escape the noise of the top floor there's a pool table down stairs...so you could always go hangout down there. (2) TRY THE BREAKFAST TACOS. They're the best. I love the vegetarian ones, my friends love the meat-y ones, everyone leaves happy. I've recently started trying the other items on their brunch menu and have yet to be disappointed. read more

My crew and I were in cinci checking out the new horseshoe casino. After a few drinks and meeting some locals at a nearby watering hole, we were ready for dinner, and a few more drinks if possible. The local friends we made sent is to MOTR for a beer and the MOTR burger. 1 local beer, 1 "girly drink" for the wife, loaded fries, and a MOTR burger with fries=$23 with tip. That's obscenely cheap for what we got. You order everything at the bar and then sit down. 10 minutes into our drinks, the food came our. The burger was amazing and gigantic. Cooked a perfect medium rare, as ordered, and topped with an onion ring and aioli. It doesn't come with cheese by default, which I love. See I don't like cheese much, so unusually request no cheese. But if a burger comes with it standard, I'm paying for the cheese I didn't get. This way, I pay for what I got and those that want cheese can pay the up charge to add it. Perfect. The food and drinks were amazing, prices were unbelievable, and there was a local live band playing while we were there (no cover). Apparently downstairs has some game options, per other reviews, and I'll definitely have to check those out the next time in town. read more

This is a place I'd take a girl who I wasn't getting along with. It's so loud you won't have to talk to her and the people watching will keep you entertained. I've been a few times before and always left in a hurry. This latest time I went in just after eleven because of hunger. The band was going and it raised a question I've had for a long time. Why do bands decide to not entertain you but assault you with their music? As noted elsewhere and everywhere, it's loud. I don't get it. As I said, the people watching is good but I've never had the urge to talk to many of the people. It's not a friendly crowd in my experience. Plus, it's not like you'll be able to hear each other anyway. The kitchen closes at eleven so we headed to Joe's. read more

MOTR, symbolic of the revival of Main St. in OTR. Park + Vine, FHK, Atomic Number 10, MOTR; a handful of budding young businesses that have reclaimed the section of Main St. between Central Parkway and Liberty St. Many other incredibly successful businesses existed there already but I have been privileged to find myself in massive amounts of new foot traffic on the block any given night of the week. Weekends are nothing short of magical as these businesses find wonderful ways to partner and host creative events drawing even the Hyde Parkers and far Eastern Cincinnatians to the scary, mysterious, place that is Over The Rhine. I initially did not feel strong about MOTR, it was avery "meh" type place to me. But the last handful of times I found myself there, it was quite enjoyable. **The service is solid, never more than a 2-3 minute bar wait even when the place is packed. Food typically takes less than 10 minutes from order to my table **The food is also a strong 7 or 8 out of 10. Being located in OTR, vegan options are obligatory, and the TLT (tofu-lettuce-tomato) is a decent little sandwich. Do yourself a favor and add avocado. **Beer selection is strong with some heavy hitters from both the "local region" and across the country's amazing craft beer scene. **They book local musicians every week and any place that lends a hand to burgeoning musicians gets my applause. **Location Location Location. I live a 3 minute walk away, its just too convenient not to go sometimes. So my advice, go to MOTR on a random week night, check out a local musician, perhaps catch a random beer tasting. Order a vegan sandwich or some veggie chili, and dispense copious smiles and hugs to all of the friends you will likely encounter there. read more

I've been to MOTR many of times for live music and friends, but never have really explored their food. Today though, that changed when trying their biscuits and gravy during brunch. Fluffy fresh biscuits covered in the perfectly spiced gravy with just the right amount of meat. Oh yeah, you can't forget about the freakin' fried egg! If there is an egg with anything, I'm sold. Not only was the food experience great, their staff is as well. They are friendly, polite, and informative..... and they let me eat out front at my stand during Second Sunday on Main. I look forward to coming back here for heir brunch or maybe dinner next time. read more

I've become accustomed to dining out in Southern California, where service is a sometimes thing. Even with that low bar ingrained in me, service at MOTR Pub was truly awful. Our table of four ate dinner here on a chilly Sunday night. My burger and fries were a three, but service was a one. Overall, a rating of two balances things out fairly in my eyes. I'm probably being generous with even a two. The number one issue was that the gentleman behind the bar was only interested in tending to the bar. This is a huge problem when you order dinner and have to go through him to order food. Overall, there's a knucklehead behind the bar, and if you want to eat, you're apparently stuck with him. The manager was super friendly, but perhaps not interested in oversight. read more

I'm going to preface my review of MOTR with a very salient fact: I moved to Cincinnati from Oregon six months ago, and although I'm not what one would call a hipster myself, I find myself very much missing the PNW hipster vibe. When I walked in the doors of MOTR for the first time, it was like I'd died and gone to hipster heaven. It felt immediately like I was back in Oregon (i.e. home). I've now been to MOTR a few times and feel I can unequivocally say that this is one of the best bars in Cincinnati, hipster aesthetic aside. The main bar is gorgeous and comfortable (as one other reviewer said, perhaps too comfortable), and the downstairs area provides an excellent refuge when you want a quieter conversation. The draft selection is impressive and rotates frequently. If you're like me, new to Cincinnati and not really familiar with the OtR neighborhood**, you may be nervous about driving down to MOTR based on what you've heard about the neighborhood. Have no fear. There's lots of street parking on Main and the side streets and the area around MOTR is *very* well-lit. Just don't leave anything valuable sitting in your car, and you'll be fine. **Well, that was me about a month ago. At this point I'd rather go to OtR than just about any neighborhood in Cincinnati. read more

Any place that has free, live music seven nights a week is a winner in my book. There's also plenty of space to spread out if you aren't into the music that night. The basement has about 4 pinball games and a TV as well. The burger is pretty good too, it's huge, and comes with fries. There aren't many places with live music where you can also get food pretty late. I've been a fan of MOTR since they opened, go check it out for yourself! read more

We stopped by MOTR for brunch after setting up chairs for lumenocity. Neither of us could decide on one thing, so we split the Chirizo Breakfast Tacos and the Loaded Red Potatoes with Chorizo and Fried Egg. It was delish. The chorizo was spicy but not over -powering. The tacos were topped with a slice of fresh avocado and a chipotle sour cream sauce that complimented the chorizo perfectly. The price was great too. read more

I'm not really sure how I feel about MOTR yet. The first time I was there I had a really good time. The downstairs is very cool with a small bar a seating area and a couple of pinball machines, and I love me some pinball. This is also where the bathrooms are so if you're hanging out upstairs it's a pain to have to walk downstairs to go. There is plenty of seating upstairs and down and the food is wonderful and they have a few healthy options on the menu if you're not looking for greasy bar food. I'm not a fan of when they have live bands. I feel that the space upstairs is too small and the bands are too loud, or maybe I'm getting too old. If you're not into the band that's where downstairs comes in handy. The last time I was there everything was fine except for the bar service. We got our first round of drinks no problem. We hung out for a bit, drank our drinks, ate our food then decided "time for another drink" So we head to the bar, there's a line of about 4 people, no big deal. Finally get up to the bar and it seems as though we were being ignored. I'm not really sure what was going on but counting the line wait time it took about 20 minutes to get a drink. The group was not ready to leave or I would have been just as happy to hit the next bar for a drink. I'm sure that I will be back as I like the no music atmosphere and the food is delicious. I just hope I get better service next time. read more

When I moved to Over-the-Rhine, I was longing for a casual bar with simple dining offerings. The kind of place where I could be a "regular" without breaking the bank. The kind of place where the bartenders would know what to pour when I walked through the door. I think MOTR can be that kind of place. Last week I had the pleasure of dining there twice - once for a quick dinner, and the second time for a casual brunch with neighborhood friends. Both times I was pleased with the drink in my glass and the food on my plate. Good cold drinks (a guiness for the first time, a Bloody Maria with tequila on the second visit) and tasty bites at reasonable price points make me want to go back again, again and again. For my quick dinner, I ordered a BLT with the fries, which were lightly dusted with a zippy seasoning. The bacon was crispy and the bread was schmeared with a flavored, tangy mayo. At brunch time, I sunk my teeth into the delicious Breakfast Tacos, complete with the chorizo. I walked out full and happy thanks to that melange of potatoes, cheese, tomatoes, mexican sausage and other tasty flavors. I can't wait to make MOTR my regular hangout. Just don't steal my seat at the bar. read more

I didn't go for the live music, and I didn't go late at night to get my drink on. However, these are two things that I must (and will) return for. What I did at MOTR was have a sensible meal and one beer. Yes I have great self-restraint. I went with the special that day which was pork carnitas. They were cooked just right and full of flavor. I also shared a friend's fries which were seasoned and very tasty. The beer selection was pretty good. And my Hudy Amber during happy hour was $2.50/pint, not too shabby. The staff were friendly. I really like how spacious the bar area is (unlike some others in OTR, looking at you Lackman). And they even have a basement area to hang out and play pinball. Looking forward to returning for some live music (which I hear is always free)! read more

My fiancé and I love to come here for Sunday brunch. They have great vegetarian options. All choices on the menu can be made to order however you like it. Since opening Motr Pub has quickly become one of my favorite places to hear live music in Cincinnati. Owned by one of the founders of Midpoint Music Festival you can find great bands here year round. Motr has a large upstairs with a bar, stage and large booths and tables for sitting. Downstairs you will find even more seating, vintage pinball games and restrooms. Besides hosting a variety of bands Motr also offers a weekly Writer's Open Mic where musicians can play their original music for you to enjoy. Motr offers a fully stoked bar as well as several craft beers on draft. Their prices are very fair and there have been many nights I've left thinking "I can't believe I only spent $10!" In conclusion if you are a music lover you pretty much can't go wrong with Motr Pub. There's always live music being played and drinks flowing. If you have not yet checked it out it's a must see! read more

Stopped by here during a one night visit to Cincinnati. Found this spot and Northside Tavern on Yelp. The bartender (Nanta!) told us to try the CINCI-NANTA drink, a whiskey-based ginger drink. Yum! She was a great bartender and the whole establishment was a fun stop for some LA visitors who like music and boozin. We also ordered food, and I expected chicken wings and French fries, considering its a music venue and bar. Wrong. My salad was robust. Like a real salad. My husband got the bacon cheeseburger and Mac and cheese. REAL FOOD. Five stars. To the max! read more

One good band and one terrible band. Not bad for a Friday night. Sound was good during the good band. Which made me feel better as the first act had me convinced that the sound guy was murdering cats under the mixing board. Bar staff was excellent. Left my cc by mistake. Came back at Sunday brunch to pick it up. Will definitely be back for a brunch. read more

I walked nearly 2 miles to get to this place and couldn't get in because of a $5 cover. I was more than willing to pay it, by adding it to my tab or taking money from an ATM. I really like the brunch. The loaded potatoes are a mix of hash brown's and regular potatoes. Very hot and very good. They have more than the obligatory option for vegan or veg. I've visited this spot off and on for the past year now and yet to have a positive experience. This dingy hole in the wall spot has horrible service (expect to wait 15-20 min for a drink, not to mention rude bartenders), horrible music (no wonder no good local bands play here) and just average drinks. There are no special cocktails and most everything on tap is out. Oh and may i mention, do not EVER get the food. I dont care how drunk i may be, I would rather starve than eat their dollar general food. Overall, there are 100 better bars in OTR than MOTR. 10/10 do NOT recommend. read more

For sure MOTR is quite an experience. Food was good (although the portions of the burger should be improved; I felt like I had a kids patty which I would've been cool with but the price for the burger wasn't a kids meal price). Definitely with the fries, whatever the special seasoning put on them have they need to ease up on the salt. I could feel the hypertension entering my body. The bartender with the Native American name which I sadly don't recall was super cool and knew her stuff. She made us the Blue Motherf***er...and made it strong too (clearly, not all heroes wear capes). Several times fellow patrons and even a few workers were asking what was it we were drinking. MOTR has a really great vibe to it. A good choice if you're looking for good food and good drinks while listening to some intriguing music. read more

Had a beer here the other day with some friends and ordered a sandwich while enjoying the first breezes of spring in the courtyard. BLT was fine and the fries were excellent -- like they used a little bit of Tony Chachere's cajun seasoning on them. The Two Hearted Ale must have just been tapped, it tasted marvelously good, even more than usual. Only quibble is that the bartender promptly forgot about my beer as soon as another customer asked him something following my order. Situation got sorted out as soon as I reminded him. read more

I'm not fond of bars, I don't really drink often or much when I do. That said, I've been here with some friends a couple times and it's been a good experience both times. This most recent visit I took a shot and ordered their loaded beer cheese fries which were wonderful with the glass of whiskey I was drinking. The last time I was in I had a burger which was also very tasty. The first trip had a live band, I'm odd and really prefer to talk with people and hear myself think versus have live rock or indie music bands playing my eardrums out of my skull. That's about all I remember. Mostly I have a good time hanging with friends, catching up and having a drink or two. I'm sure I'll be back again at some point. read more

MOTR Pub - Breakfast tacos - yum! - Pubs Near Me - Cincinnati, Ohio

I've been coming here for YEARS and it only just dawned on me that I'd never reviewed this joint! First of all, their brunch is OFF.THA.CHAIN. Over the course of the years, I've probably had everything on the menu, but being a fan of all things savory I can say the tacos and the biscuits and gravy are my favorites. I've always enjoyed it and having gone several times, let me clue you in on an inside tip: they open the doors at 10am. 11am is when the crush hits - get there early and you'll not be sorry. Plus you'll get your pick of the cool coffee mugs they have out! Bar wise, this joint's always been solid. Very unpretentious and pretty good service. I'm a solid beer drinker and the rotating taps they have are usually good - they also have a strong selection of bottled brews as well as liquors. There is probably wine there since I have a very passing familiarity w it, I can't vouch for the quality. The far left-hand side of the bar always has glasses laid out right by a water spigot, so you never have to wait to get your H20 when the time comes to start thinking about driving home. Dinner menu is awesome - their burger is AMAZING. Seriously. If you eat meat, that's the only way to go there. That aside, everything else I've had or sampled there has been good too! You really can't go wrong. I've not been to lunch there yet, but if the menu is the same as the dinner menu, its going to be awesome. I don't often go to see shows b/c I can't hang as late as I used to, but the acts they book are always good to see, even if you've never heard of them. Expect the bands to start up nightly around 1030 w a 10-20 min sound check and the music stops promptly around 1130, I am guessing b/c they have residents all around them. If you're one to ask for an encore, that is not likely to happen but really can you be mad when such an amazing bar is available for you to hang out in? read more

MOTR isn't perfect. The P.A. isn't the best, for starters, and the basement space (which has an ingenious little second bar and the potential to be an ultra cool subterranean English pub) isn't fully realized. But it's still my favorite place to watch a band in town. A great old building with quirky design touches throughout, nice beer selection with very reasonable prices, and easily the best food I've had in any music venue anywhere. No need to grab an early bite elsewhere--you can support your local guitar slingers while getting great seats as well as great food. Not a smart choice for a late dinner if you want it to be a quiet one, and apparently people who hate loud music need to be reminded not to go to music bars when bands are playing. (Another tip for you folks: If you dislike film, you might want to stay away from movie theaters.) read more

Well I went back again. It's not a good burger. It's $9.25 with cheese, bready with awful tomatoes and little lettuce. My girlfriend got a salad and fries with beer cheese. The salad had the same bad tomatoes on it. (If the tomatoes are out of season and they suck, don't serve them.) It was underdressed and uninspired. Now it is a salad. I understand that. But it can be simple and satisfying. I've worked plenty of garde-manger stations. Making a good salad is not as easy as it may seem but it's also a task that all decent cooks must master. The beer cheese is foul. The fries are frozen & bagged. That's fine with me. For such a small menu you would think they could execute it well. But I left thinking I should have stayed in. Good luck MOTR. At least your music rocks. read more

The bands the play here are generally great. I'm always surprised by the quality of musicians that come through. The only thing to note is that in order to appreciate the music you have to be by the bar area.. the music doesn't sound so great by the booths. The burger and fries are super tasty. This is probably my fav bar. I love live music, the beer and mixed drinks at MOTR. . read more

MOTR has quickly emerged of one of the most important live music venues in Cincinnati. Launched by City Beat writer / MPMF maestro, Dan McCabe, as a location for national and regional touring bands to play to a smaller, more intimate crowd. Dan has great connections for music and it really shows. The venue is fairly small and the stage is too. There are pub tables & bar seating, but expect to stand to see the band. Drink selection is quite excellent with a significant contingent of local brews plus mostly regionals and specialty beers. Prices are very reasonable (as OTR tends to go). Decor is quite excellent. Band posters framed adorn the walls and the old wooden bar features are beautiful. A smallish front room hides booth seating in the back as well as a downstairs area that is known to have dance parties and DJs. MOTR is an interesting place that is a good mix of locals & music fans. Fun atmosphere, great music, good drinks combines to make an excellent addition to the OTR community. read more

I'm giving MOTR 3 stars because it doesn't work for me, but it works great for what it is, for other people. Let me explain. As I've said in other posts, I'm weird when it comes to bars. I know normal folks go to them for the scene, and for loud music, but this is not why I go to them. So my review is biased in this way. What they do well: beautiful bar, lots of space (I'm looking forward to weather warm enough to sit on the patio). They are in OTR so big bonus points for that, and practically right across the street from me. They have live music all the time and they have food (more on these two items in a moment). I've only eaten the burger, which was decent...and I'd like to try the brunch one day if I can figure out their ordering system. What I don't much like (and why I rarely go there): it's LOUD. Crazy loud. The band is right there where the bar is, and it's far too loud to carry on a conversation, even with the bartender, to tell them what you'd like to drink. Also, I'm thrilled that they have food here, but trying to figure out HOW and WHOM to order from is exhausting and makes me feel stupid. If I have to work this hard for food and drink, then I need to find another bar. But for all you kids who like losing your hearing, have figured out the ordering system, and have worked out a sign language of sorts with the bartender--enjoy! read more
