Had a great car buying experience with Frank and Fil. We drove 2 hours for a used vehicle as Motorwerks had great pricing on a low miles vehicle. They both were helpful without making us feel pressured. They went above and beyond and stayed hours past closing to help us finish the sale so we could take the car home that night. They also promptly took care of one small concern we had with vehicle. Not your typical "sales" experience, they built a relationship and made it a relaxed and fun experience. Highly recommend working with them for your car purchase! read more

Worked with Satish on a resolution and in the end he made it right. That says a lot and goes a long way in my book.

I called motorwerks to get a quote for some work that was needed on my sl550 that the dealership had recommend at my last service before my warranty expired. I spoke to Matt who was very helpful, and went over the whole process with me. Dropped my car off and had it back the following day. Not to mention Motorwerks was able to get me in quicker and was significantly less expensive than the dealership for the exact same work! Very impressive shop, and a wonderful staff. I will definitely be back in the future. read more

Motorwerks repaired for our beloved 2011 328i Coupe, which after 11 years of maintaining and preserving for over 90,000 miles, experienced a car-deer accident on the left front fender and driver-side door (yes, the deer actually hit the car, not the other way around). Rusty from Motorwerks was amazing to work with; he was friendly and knowledgable. My wife and I assumed the car could not be restored, but the incredible team at Motorwerks replaced the front fender, installed a new door, and then repainted that side of the car to a level that met our very high hopes. I was amazed by the fact they were able to match the metal-flake size (which was very fine in BMW's "Deep Sea Blue" metallic paint color). Their "paint guy" has 35 years experience, and it shows! I don't believe you will find this level of customer service, and quality of work, anywhere else. They have our business for life (we plan/hope to keep our 328 until the end). read more

Motorwerks - Good as new! Thanks Motorwerks! - Auto Repair Near Me - Commerce Township, Michigan

These guys Matt and Rusty are the most awesome reasonable guys I've ever dealt with. They know old German cars. My 2001 Mercedes SL 500 will exclusively be handled by them. Highly recommend read more

I took my coupe here to have a premium catback exhaust installed and was very satisfied. They took about 2 hours and the tips sat even and fitment was precise. This part of Commerce Twp. may be a hike for many and for me coming from the East side - the ride through poshy parts of Oakland County was definitely pretty scenic with nice wooded, twisty, hilly streets - this was a rewarding on the ride back home after the exhaust was installed! These guys are very professional and over 90% of the cars they work with are high end imports such as Lexus, Infiniti, Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, Audi, Acura, etc. They are even accustomed to work with exotics such as Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston Martin, etc. and other high-end imports and high-power domestics all with professional expertise. The pricing on their labor is obviously not the cheapest in town but you can trust that they treat your car as their own and given that they work on some of the nicest rides in the Motor City - I would definitely trust my car with them for custom work/installations. I highly recommend this place for custom/aftermarket installations on all high end vehicles and newer cars, especially for owners like me who are anal about detailed work. The full wash/wax/dry complimentary with the job was actually pretty elaborate as well! So if the extra drive (for most) & dollar is worth the more prestigious work - then this place may be for you and your car. read more

I am some what new to the area and am so lucky my friends the Hixson's referred me to them. Great service and very fast turn around. Also, prices are very reasonable. Best shop I have used in a long time. I love having my car worked on by true enthusiasts and experts. The had the clutch for my 997 911 in stock and they had it in and out in no time. I highly recommend them to any foreign car/sports car owner. read more

Motorwerks - Auto Repair Near Me - Commerce Township, Michigan

The worse service experience I have ever experienced for my Mercedes. I went there as the dealership was backed up. Motorwerks fixed one problem and when I left I had another major issue that was not there when I dropped the car off. They claimed it was a coincidence and had my car running on 3 cylinders. Guess they were too busy to test the vehicle. I took it back and 4 days later they changed another part which was fine when I dropped the car off and they also changed a ball joint. BUT, apparently they only hand tightened the nut holding the ball joint on according to the mechanic in Grayling, MI. I am lucky to be alive as when this collapsed in northern Michigan on the highway. I expected a refund after paying them thousands of dollars for the initial repairs but they ignored this. So, needless to say my experience was horrific! read more

Satish, Rusty and team have my full trust and support. I have taken my Mini Countryman to Motorwerks multiple times and the difference between Motorwerks and Motor City Mini of Southfield is night and day. Motorwerks is a class act, providing only the services your vehicle needs with professional and punctual communication throughout the process at reasonable prices. Their competition is rude, condescending and always trying to upcharge for services your vehicle doesn't need and overcharging for the services it does need. I recommend any Mini owner in the area to bring their vehicle here. read more

These guys are the best. I cannot tell you how wonderful Satish and everyone treat my mother and her 87 SL 560 MBZ. They work on almost anything and are the best alternative to paying a retail price at your local Mercedes store. You can see and hear his passion in his words and you know this man loves his work. They do ground-up restoration and fabricate parts that they need and can't find. This is a full service shop for the higher end client. Thank you sooooooo much for the attention you give to my mother. She loves everyone at your shop. read more

Rusty and the team did a great job in installing a new set of Tire Rack wheels on my F250. I knew it would be a bit out of their normal lane with the type of vehicles they typically service, however I trusted their experience with high end vehicles. Rusty was extremely friendly and explained their process and costs in detail. I watched their service techs as they worked on other vehicles. The staff moved purposely, carefully, and efficiently. They treated my truck with respect even though it wasn't a high end car. I've owned collectible and restored cars like competition M3s, a survivor 74 Pantera GTS, and restored 70 Mach I. I would trust them to work on those vehicles if they had need. I will be back in a few weeks to have another vehicle serviced. Kudos to Rusty and the team. read more

I had a bulb that was out on my right turn signal and called around to places that could help me quickly (to avoid getting a ticket). They were the only ones that made time for my quick repair even though they were probably busy. The lead mechanic and guy at the front desk were both personable and didn't seem to try and upsell for no reason, which I appreciated. Just seemed like an honest and reliable company. Would recommend! read more

I have my C300 and s500 Mercedes serviced there, I wouldn't go anywhere else. They are very professional. knowledgeable, and have corrected problems caused by other shops. After having a bad experience on a repair on my fathers car (s500) at another shop, they not only corrected all the issues, they took care of all the arbitration with AAA, and the AAA rep was so impressed he asked if they could put them on their referral list as a preferred 5 star vendor. They have saved me so much time and money. read more

Satish and his crew have been working on my cars for 15? yrs! I am a M-B fan for years and he has kept all my cars running until I can get no more out of them! 83 380 sl, 88 560sl, 91 300se(retired at 260k) and 94 e320 coupe...about to resurrect the 560sl!! read more

I had my cl 550 worked on there, they charged me 330 for a wheel alignment plus wheel balancing!!! Here's the kicker though, my car came out worse than before, now my tires are wearing on the edges and the car is pulling to the right and my steering wheel still pulls to the left. They want to charge me more to "fix" it with a bolt on kit, but I'll pass. read more

I unexpectedly encountered my positive experience with this shop via a Tirerack.com transaction wheels installation service. Shop generally services German and European vehicles but I tested them for fixing my Japanese model 2002 Toyota Tacoma amid the COVID-19 pandemic since no other shops were open or willing to service. My truck had an intermittent problem that couldn't be resolved by others. Amazingly, these guys were able to diagnose and fix the problem quickly with apparent expertise - now the truck works great! Service was at slightly a premium but the experience and know-how was well worth it! I'll bring my Audi TT to them soon. Matt S. was a fantastic service rep. and accommodated me with patience and thorough explanations. They earned and deserved my business. Passing my test qualifies them for some accolades and return business as these guys know their skill & trade. Thanks guys! read more

This place is absolutely the worst repair shop I've dealt with. They seem to be a body shop or a car detailing Shop. That's why all the nice cars are in there. As far as Repairing your car these guys have no clue what to do. They worked on my X5 and both times the car stopped Working as soon as we received it. Took it to dealership And they found out the problem and fixed the car for a few Dollars. We requested our money back and they are unwilling to do so. If anyone is thinking your saving money by taking your car here you won't . Please read the many Negative reviews they have on bimmerworld also. read more

This place is the worst! Horrible customer service and horribly skilled technicians. Took my vehicle in for repair, they fixed one problem after having my vehicle for a week and they damaged the front end and refused to fix it, saying that it coincidentally happened while it was there! As soon as I left the parking lot there was a loud grinding noise that didn't exist when I took it in. They never follow up. Horrible horrible experience. Stay away from this place!! Each time I was in there customers were complaining about service and final cost being different from what they were told. read more

I have had both my Audi s5 n s7 work on at moterwerks. The work they do is all top notch and professionally done to make you satisfied. No matter what high end exotic vehicle you might have they will get it done how you want it done. They can sometimes time be too pricey then most places but their work is worth the money trust me they know what their doing. I recommend this place to anyone that wants a professional job done to your vehicle. read more

The team at Motorwerks is great! I've never dealt with such friendly and knowledgeable people at a dealership EVER! Initially, I called up the dealership and spoke with Sachin, who's a consummate professional. The whole process of buying a car can be daunting; especially if you're not a car expert. Sachin walked me through what to look for when buying a used car. I immediately felt like I had a much better understanding of the process. Then, I explained to him what I was looking for in a car and he told me what cars would be a good fit for me. It's evident from talking to Sachin that's he's truly an expert on cars. Eventually, a car was available for sale that fit precisely what I needed. Sachin educated me on everything I needed to know about the car and made me feel right at ease. The entire purchase went as smooth as it could. When I showed up to purchase the car the general manager, Bill, showed me around the service center and highlighted what kind of work they do, which is quite extensive. Bill made it a point to let me know that they are available (even after work hours) to assist with any issues. I just can't say enough good things about these guys. Not only are they extremely competent in what they do but they are very friendly. I felt like I was part of their family. You're going to be very hard pressed to find a better dealership for you automotive needs. read more

The worst service I've ever received. I decided to go here because I was referred to them by two people. I was so very disappointed with the service. I wasted day and money. I came in with concerns regarding my truck. They run a diagnostic report and sent me off without any explanation on what was wrong with my truck. They said they needed to do additional research and would get back to me by the end of the day. They never called and after my second call at the end of the day, I was told I needed to go to the dealership it was software issues. It was misdiagnosed which is not a surprise since they didn't really check the truck. I wasted my time and money on an inaccurate diagnostic which they refused to reimburse. read more

They do not know much about cars nor are very friendly in addressing any issues with my car. They cannot even do proper hunter road force balancing and they even screwed up my alignment. My rear right wheel had a terrible camber as compared to my left rear and it was correct by my dealer. Forget this place. Bill is rude and I would avoid him at all cost. Overpriced and underwhelming. My service advisor from this place moved over to auto europe few years ago and has done well there. The mechanics and the owner at auto europe do a far much better job and fix every problems I have. I was tired of having a BMW, Lexus, etc with vibration problems when going to Motorwerks because their mechanic is so lazy that he cannot do a proper hunter road force balancing and blamed it on bent rims, etc which was found to be just perfectly fine at Auto Europe in Birmingham, Mi. Forgive me, I respect Satish but he really needs to step up and hire better mechanics and managers for Motorwerks. I am extremely disappointed in this place and anyone that continues to go to them is not looking at the big picture and being aware of what is being done properly on their cars. read more
