When Bob came to our house for my son's first lesson he was kind and knowledgeable, letting us know what to expect. My son had a great experience and at the end Bob spoke with us and gave us things to work on with him. All three lessons were amazing, he even gave us tips and tricks for the test and suggested which DMV to go to. Our son passed with flying colors and has a great driving record (he has been driving for 3 years). I am writing this a few years later because we moved away from Irvine and had to find another company for our daughter. Her experience was not as good and we did not feel that she was ready to be driving on her own even after that company signed off on it. I immediately called Varsity and they found her a time to work with Bob and we drove down to Irvine for it. In just two hours he taught her so much, he went through everything and corrected her previous instruction. She is a much more confident and safer driver because of him. As a broke college student, I was very reluctant to pay for driving lessons, but figures in my life told me it was best to drive with an instructor because they understand how to teach you the fundamentals of not only passing the driving test, but also the life skill of driving. My instructor, David, aka "Mr. Adventure," was nothing other than amazing. He distinguished what my weak points were as a driver and helped me understand what I really needed to improve on so I wouldn't be a squirrel on the road. Not only did I pass my test first try with flying colors, but I also feel as though I really understand how to be on the road. Coming out of this experience, I got exactly what I was seeking. As the father to a car-crazy teenager, when it came time for my son to begin his behind-the-wheel training, TRTS was the only solution we considered. Each two-hour lesson with Steven Unland and Jim Sewell was thorough and my son enjoyed conversing with Steven and Jim as he drove. At the end of each lesson, I was given a session review sheet containing the things they covered during the driving lesson and feedback for any areas that my son needed to work on before the next lesson. Thanks to the training that TRTS provided, my son confidently and effortlessly passed his CA DMV behind-the-wheel driving test with only a one point deduction.

For the first driving lesson he showed up with a car that wasn't even marked as a driving school/and there wasn't any warning to other drivers that there was a new driver behind the wheel. For the 2nd driving lesson I had to reschedule the appointment twice because Craig forgot to show up for the appointment, and didn't bother calling to let us know that he couldn't make it. We ended up taking a 3rd lesson with TRTS because it was so difficult to schedule another lesson. Finally, Craig texted me and said that he was planning to send Adam's certificate of completion in the mail on March 21st, and it is now April 2nd, and it never arrived. I also requested that he give my son the third lesson that I paid him for, so that he could review before his driving test, and Craig never responded. I still need a copy of the final certificate, and I haven't heard back from Craig. I have texted and left phone messages. Please respond.
