I PASSED is AWESOME! Prior to enrolling, I was sure my daughter's future was in NYC and I vowed to never ride as her passenger again. Wow, it only took a couple 2hr long sessions- I don't feel the need to count Rosemary beads! A million thanks! read more

I signed my kid for doing the online Driver's Education class, which he passed. It has been more than 4 weeks, but we still have not received the certification for passing the course. We have emailed them, called them, some person did call back promising to send out the certifcate 'soon' & reaching us in 3-days- we have been waiting for it arrive via mail for last 2 weeks. This doesnot look good at-all, hope this is not a scam operation. Yelp please stop hiding 'bad' reviews and posting 'good' reviews of fradulent companies.. read more

Signed my daughter up for 6 hours of driving lessons back in April of 2024. It's now the end of June and I have NOT heard from anyone from this company! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Authorities have been notified of the fraud being committed. read more

Do NOT spend money on this driving school. Craig was so unprofessional. The reason I went with this driving school was because I wanted to support small business, Craig was friendly over the phone, and he was willing to schedule lessons on Sunday for us because of my son's baseball schedule. For the first driving lesson he showed up with a car that wasn't even marked as a driving school/and there wasn't any warning to other drivers that there was a new driver behind the wheel. For the 2nd driving lesson I had to reschedule the appointment twice because Craig forgot to show up for the appointment, and didn't bother calling to let us know that he couldn't make it. We ended up taking a 3rd lesson with TRTS because it was so difficult to schedule another lesson. Finally, Craig texted me and said that he was planning to send Adam's certificate of completion in the mail on March 21st, and it is now April 2nd, and it never arrived. I also requested that he give my son the third lesson that I paid him for, so that he could review before his driving test, and Craig never responded. I still need a copy of the final certificate, and I haven't heard back from Craig. I have texted and left phone messages. Please respond. read more

Do not give this company any money. Read all the reviews. I filed a complaint with the BBB its turns out this guy (owner) Craig also had another company named "wheely good driving school" where he also defrauded tons of potential drivers from their money. I'm still waiting for a refund from january. He took my money and ran. read more

Please take my warning and DO NOT use this company. I wish I had been warned before I did. I chose this school because they had hours outside of bankers' hours. Which if you are trying to get your teen scheduled around school is extremely helpful. I read a few not so great reviews, but after Craig was very responsive before I purchased, I decided that I would give it a try. I only wish I knew what a nightmare it would be! There were a few Pros: initial communication was great, it was relatively easy to schedule the first appointment, and I was impressed with the level of detail and time he took explaining vehicle operation at the start of the first lesson. My daughter also said the lesson went well. But that's where it ends. He was late to the first session. He did eventually text to let us know. The first session went well as mentioned above. He did offer to get the second session scheduled right away (in hindsight, I wish we had!), however, we wanted our daughter to practice a little bit more on her own before scheduling the second session. We reached out to him a few weeks later to schedule the second session. It has now been MONTHS with no response. We scheduled and completed our first session in Sept 2023 (it's now March 2024). I have since called, emailed, and texted Craig to schedule the second session with absolutely no response. It's as if Craig completely disappeared. So his lack of response can only lead me to believe that he will take your money, do as little as possible, and then keep your money without delivering what he sold. You must have the certificate of completion in order to take the driving test, so there is zero value in the partial services that he provided. Run....fast...and far! **Please note - I am now aware that this is a one-person operation. I know that life circumstances can happen and they are not always in your control. If Craig were to re-materialize and make good on the services that he has sold, I will come back to update my review. read more

I recommend this place as a decent driving school. I write this honest review so you can have an idea of what you going to get from this place. Our trainer Craig. He teaches with professional way and skill for student not only able to pass the test, but student also be able hit the road smoothly after taking the lessons. His way of teaching is straight forward. His personality is patient. As a result, students will be confident after receiving lessons. As an international student, learning overseas isn't easy at all. With his help, of course with our constant practice over and over again. We spent over 10 hours for practice. The result is satisfying. It's a big PASS for the road test! At last, I wish everyone doesn't push Craig too hard on changing around time. Stay with your schedule, and be ready to pass! It isn't that hard at all. read more

After searching for months, I'm so glad we decided on I Passed Driving School for our son. Craig was incredibly responsive from the minute we reached out to inquire about availability to each and every lesson. He has built his business well and takes pride in educating kids to become balanced, calm, confident drivers. So important! Our son felt totally prepared for his test and passed it with flying colors. Stop searching and reach out to I Passed for your kid's drivers training! read more

Completely flaked TWICE on picking up my 15 year old for his practice hours. No showed, rescheduled, then no showed again. Terrible communication, we had to reach out to find out what's going on multiple times after making a payment. I'm not sure how to report this business..but if you're needing this service? Please save yourself the stress and choose another provider. read more

The business is unbelievably unprofessional. The business number is the cell # of the owner, Craig who is also the instructor. He did not even set up his voice mail box, so when you call, you'll continually get a message saying that the voice mail is not set up (he might set up AFTER reading this review). Nobody answers the call, no email gets answered except for informing the initial money receipt and scheduled driving lesson time for your child. The website looks fancy and 30 some people gave 4-5 rating stars on Google, so I booked the driving lesson for my son without knowing the truth. (I see Yelp got 23 people who gave all 5 stars with a business that you can never reach??) The website says "we PROVIDE free pick up and drop off service"; but I've never received any call, email response (he said he's going to call for another date, but never did or answered my question about it), or text message before the initial lesson time (and remember you can never reach him), so we went to the office address on Google for the scheduled driving lesson time. What else can I do when you can never reach anyone and no email response? My son and I waited there for 15 minutes and I called multiple times and the owner never answered the call. He called back only after I emailed saying we're waiting at the building. He came 25 minutes later and became ballistic because I said on the phone worrying that I thought it was a scam at first because there was nobody answers calls or emails and also the office was locked. He neither apologized for not getting back to the customer nor not showing up for the lesson on time. Do NOT be a victim of these 4-5 star ratings. If I let him go, I could never reach this owner=driving school, so I demanded the refund of $485 to be processed at the spot in front of me. read more

Craig was amazing, I am from overseas and have been driving there for a long time, but straight away he told me what I would need in terms of lessons and DMV test. I was extremely nervous but he kept me calm and talked me though everything, showing me everything I would encounter in the actual test, on the day of the test he talked me though it again and kept me calm, thank you so much for helping me pass, I would recommend you to everyone looking to pass their drivers test. I Passed Driving School - Only one point and a "good job" from the examiner - Driving Schools Near Me - Laguna Hills, California

I don't like to write bad reviews. And waited a while before this. I signed my son up for the 6 hour lesson. My son had the first 2 hour session. The owner seemed nice but cancelled the second visit. We never heard from him again. Multiple calls and requests online. Cant get through on his phone. Drove to his office. The space is vacant and available for rent! Money and time lost. Apparently I'm not the only one. Other driving schools said they have had other students with same experience. read more

Highly recommend this driving school to anyone. My 19 year old daughter did not get her permit until age 18 (super scared too drive because of how aggressive people are these days on the road.) From the moment I contacted him I knew we were in good hands. Craig was courteous, polite, and was flexible with scheduling. He did a custom package for us as she did not need the full behind the wheel training as she was an older driver and had been practicing with us on her own. He helped build her confidence up and gave her great tips for her test, which she passed! Thank you Craig!! read more

Craig was a phenomenal driving instructor! I felt prepared for my driving test, and never felt stressed out during our sessions. We had a good chat while driving and he made sure to prepare me with all the proper tools and knowledge. On my last 2hr session we drove down to the DMV and I was able to get familiar with the roads, as well as what areas to watch out for. I passed my test first try!!Craig will hook you up and book all your appointments right there, as well as pick you up and drop you off where desired. I highly recommend I Passed! read more

Stop looking. Great School! Fast Service and friendly staff. My son passed is DL Exam first try.

I Passed Driving School was great with my daughter. They gave her great tips and focused on what she needed help on. They even took her to practice near the DMV where she was supposed to take her driving test and took her on routes that they were most likely to use. They were flexible and were very communicative with the appointments. In fact, they even allowed us to take the last 2 hours of the 6 hour package without charge even though we had passed the 6 month deadline. Amazing company and I plan to enroll my second child there soon. read more

The young man Craig started off very nice and polite. He did 2 drivers. Lessons for my grandson. Never did the third lesson. Because I told him I was gonna let him teach my daughter. Also how to drive because he seemed like a legit. Good person. After he demanded me to do a lesson on a Friday and I told him I was not going to keep my daughter out of school on a Friday. I would do Saturday. He pretty much demanded me to do Friday. Then he told me he will not teach her. So I said okay. Fine, no problem, I'll teach her myself The young man Craig started off very nice and polite. He did 2 drivers. Lessons for my grandson. Never did the third lesson. Because I told him I was gonna let him teach my daughter. Also how to drive because he seemed like a legit. Good person. After he demanded me to do a trip on a Friday and I told him I was not going to keep my daughter out of school on a Friday. I would do Saturday. He pretty much demanded me to do Friday. Then he told me he will not teach her. So I said okay. Fine, no problem. I'll teach her myself. He told me he put his car in the shop and he needed the money to get his car out of the shop for my daughter and I told him you said you was not going to teach her so someone else is going to teach her how to drive. He got so upset and started texting me all kinds of. Things that was not nice and he never returned to do. My grandson's last lesson and he was paid in full. What the problem is? I think this young man has a serious gambling problem. And he is demanding money and he was not even finished with the first job. My grandson only had one lesson. Left and if I would have chosen this young man to teach my daughter after the rude text messages that he sent me. I blocked him from my phone. Then he will go down before this and harass my grandson at work. He seemed to be a good person. And I respect him for trying to have a business. But if you're gonna have a business you need to. Realize there are ups and Downs. And you cannot just put your car in the shop and depend that someone's going To pay in full when you have not completed a service pending. I'm leaving this review. Because this is a bitter sweet situation. The young man is nice and he did. Take my grandson on 2 lessons. But he was paid to do 3 lessons at 2 hours each. He did not complete the last lesson and wanted to start. Doing my daughter's lessons. At this point you broke trust in me and all the rude text messaging. I'm too old to play games if you gonna run a business. Be professional read more

I Passed Driving School has been an amazing program for us and Craig Childress really came through for our son! We had no idea that we needed to have our teenager take this type of 3rd party drivers training and when we looked for resources I found Craig online through a local web search. We were very glad we found his program which was very reasonably priced vs the competitors in south OC. Craig and his staff worked really well with our son and made him feel very comfortable with three separate 2-hr driving sessions. I wholeheartedly recommend Craig and the I Passed Driving School for any parent looking for a resource for their teenagers or family member seeking to complete this task for a driver's license! read more

I would highly recommend this driving school! My daughter did her first 6 hours elsewhere and then did this closer to the driving test to get ready. both Ernie and Craig were terrific. My daughter is terrified of driving on public roads so I told her we should sign her up for a driving school to get her more seat time and a little more comfortable behind the wheel. I called around to a few places and this one stood out to me the most just because of the price and the customer service I received. I've been taking my daughter to IPDS for about 1 month now and it's such a noticeable difference how much more confident she is behind the wheel. When my son is old enough I will definitely be taking him here as well. read more

I Passed Driving School was amazing. Craig was very knowledgeable, respectful, and knew exactly how to teach so that I would be comfortable driving. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Craig was my instructor and really took the time to show me the ropes. Made me comfortable on the test day but most importantly improved upon the mistakes I was making to the point that I felt very confident in my driving ability on the test day and was able to get through the "gotcha" types of mistakes without any trouble. If you are considering a driving school and help for the DMV test, I'd recommend Craig and the ipassed driving school. read more

I got in touch and got the DMV package (I've been driving for years, but you cannot re-verify a foreign license). I also wanted a session to go over the test and things to have in mind that make you lose points easily. I scheduled my test before contacting anyone, and I only had a week to find someone to prepare me for the test. The instructor not only accommodated my time constraints, but was also flexible when unexpected events had me reschedule my lesson. The instruction was wonderful and we covered everything I needed to be aware of to make the test uneventful and easy. We went over auto-fails, the points system, proper line change and awareness checks, did a couple of pilot tests and got other things to have in mind. He then picked me up the next day for my test. Craig was professional, friendly, easy going and pleasant to work with. For adults with a license from abroad that cannot be re-checked in the State of California, this is a great option to get his license application done with. 100% recommended. read more

Honestly hands down the best driving school, and I'm not just talking about the customer service but the way that they explain everything. So much patience and they literally go over everything that's going to be on the drivers test . Communication skills are out of this world. And the professionalism you can't find anywhere else . Craig was an excellent teacher. He kept calm, enthusiastic, and supportive throughout my lessons. The first lesson he was a no-show, but I managed to contact him the next day, and he was very apologetic and we rescheduled my lessons to complete them all. I ended up driving a different vehicle on the day of the test, but I still passed on the first attempt! read more

DO NOT UTILIZE THIS SCHOOL. Craig will take your money. He just recharged my daughters card again for lessons she paid for in full "a year ago. Today, he "recharged" her card again. He has changed his number and the new number on the website, he keeps picking up and hanging up. At this point, I think he has blocked the phone number so he dosent have to admit he fraudulently charged her card! We are filing legal action. This man is a scammer and will take your money. He does not keep his commitments nor does he have any integrity in business. I REPEAT, DO NOT TAKE DRIVING LESSONS WITH THIS MAN. HE WILL NOT SHOW AND STILL CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD TWICE! I have filed fraud charges with our bank & will be filing legal papers in the morning to get the original charges back due to not completing the program we paid form.
