Renting a scooter from this company was the best decision I could make for the M1 test! it was quick, easy, and made the test much less of a headache. Vladimir was super helpful when talking to him about the test. He provided tips on how to prepare for it, as well as videos showing exactly what to expect. I rented a scooter from them on a Monday for practice and took my test Tuesday morning. I PASSED my M1 at San Ysidro DMV. There was no hassle at all. I passed my motorcycle behind the wheels test at oakland coliseum yesterday all thanks to this company. I can't say enough good things about them. The process is super straightforward: you pay them $190 and they give you a scooter to take the test with. Being a newbie rider, let's just put it this way.. I would NOT have been able to pass the test yesterday with my 900cc cruiser that weighs over 600lbs. The scooter you are renting here is legally a motorcycle yet it's incredibly small and nimble which 100% played a big role in my passing the test. It feels like it barely weighs 100lbs. They even give you time to practice which i encourage you to do. Just go to a dmv after they close and do a few practice runs on their serpentine course and you are all set to pass. Check out their website. They even have instruction videos for the test for those who need it. I highly highly recommend DMV scooter rental for anyone who needs a license and finds the dmv test a little challenging. With that little scooter(and some practice), the test will feel like a breeze. Big shoutout to Vlad and the rest of the team for being incredibly helpful. Thank you guys read more

I just wanted to say I had an amazing experience with the DMV M1 scooter rental company.... From the first phone call to the last, everything was professional and promptly executed !! I worked with Vladimir who was an amazing help and actually made a practice course for me to practice on so I could be prepared for my motorcycle driving test.... Couldn't have been more happier with the results I passed the test 1st time. I went to the west minister DMV for my test and it was close by and very convenient for me... I highly recommend this company if you're looking to get your motorcycle Driving license taken care of with they're scooters....Thanks again Tim read more

I had a great experience with Easy M1. Even though the owner was mostly hands-off in person, the level of detail in his email and text instructions was incredible. He provides YouTube videos packed with tips and pointers that clearly explain what to do to get the best possible outcome on the test. I rode motorcycles over 10 years ago, but I wasn't familiar with riding a motorized scooter, so I was definitely rusty. The videos, tips, and the practice location he recommends gave me the chance to really sharpen my skills before the DMV test. That preparation made a huge difference. Because of the detailed guidance and knowledge he shares, I passed my test and finally got my M1 endorsement. I'm very thankful highly recommend Easy M1 to anyone serious about passing. read more

In the end, DMV Scooter Rental delivered. There is a small process, but if you follow instructions you will not be disappointed. Vladimir was extremely helpful and offered me great advice and confidence to get my license. Only recommendation I can make is to be sure you have a printed copy of your contract as well as the registration and insurance (which is provided with the bike). Good luck and safe travels. read more

Vladimir was very unprofessional and his chosen method of communication (texting) was poor, to say the least. He stated he had practice courses set up which was false. His back door approach at picking up scooter was very unprofessional also. I cancelled the rental the day before as per his offer to cancel and credit my card, which he said he would that night soon cancellation and all he did was remove the pending deposit charge so now I have to dispute the rental charge thru my credit card company. I found him to be a liar. read more

I recently rented a scooter from Vladimirs' business, and I couldn't be more stoked to have found it! The customer service was truly above and beyond. He was not only friendly and professional but also made the whole process smooth and hassle-free. He has taken the time to create videos to walk you through the M1 skills test to ensure you are prepared and provides lots of tips as far as dos and donts. What I really appreciated was how upfront he was about the scooters being for people who already know how to ride a motorcycle. It showed real business integrity and commitment to safety. Thanks to Vlads' business, I was able to finally get my M1 and not have to worry about trying to maneuver my heavy Harley through the test. The rental process couldn't have been more quick and easy. He even met me early at the DMV before they opened to ensure I had plenty of time to practice before my test since I wasn't able to practice earlier in the week due to my work schedule. I highly recommend Vlads' business to anyone looking for an honest, reliable rental service. read more

I used them to pass my M1 motorcycle skills test and I did first try with the scooter. I can't say enough good things about the owner and his customer service. He even drew me a practice course at my house when he dropped off the scooter and that def helped me pass. I would recommended this company over any other company renting scooters. He's really out to help you pass. read more

I've got my M1 permit, but I needed to take the test, I decided that I don't need the CMSP course as I've been riding for since I was 7 years old. I took a 26 year break in between and bought a bike recently. Had a horrible experience with another place that made a lot of claims that they didn't deliver on. One of my co-workers mentioned DMV scooter rental as a better option to take my dmv motorcycle test. I reached out via text and they got back to me within a few minutes! I explained my situation and told them that I needed to take my M1 at the DMV in Ventura, mind you they are in the Long Beach/OC area, they assured me it was no issue! They even helped me look up available appointments while textingme!!! Pretty solid! We got everything set up to go, nice easy bike to ride, nimble unlike my own 650lb Yamaha! Can't recommend enough! read more

Had a great experience with dmv scooter rental. Needed a bike for the dmv test and was able schedule a drop real easily. The owner is real flexible in the drop off schedule and will work with you on how much time you need to practice for the riding test. The bike is basically an automatic so you dont have to deal with clutch and its small enough that it makes the test experience easier. Will repeat with them if I have to do it again. read more

I rented their scooter to pass my M1 Motorcycle test at the DMV. The service was great. Super fast. He shared his videos, tricks and tips and made passing my riding test super easy. I was going to take the Motorcycle Safety Foundation Course or the CMSP course, but those were double the price and would have taken 5 times longer. This was fast, easy and at a great price. This service is honestly incredible. People don't understand how difficult the motorcycle test is. This service gives you Everything you need to pass. And the customer service is amazing. If you do everything, he says I promise you will pass. read more

I passed my test with the tips and 45 min of practice before taking. We meet in the parking lot an hour before DMV opened. We spent 10 to 15 mins of instruction and course tips. Then I practiced on my own the rest of the time. The test course was at an incline and required more attention to controlling the throttle up/down sides of the circle. It took me several tries to adjust to the throttle sensitivity -- the scooter power is delayed. I've owned motorcycles and was licensed in another state and never 'checked-the-box' to transfer my license to CA. I hadn't ridden for a number of years. The whole process was well worth it. read more

Super helpful services provide study videos and valuable pointers. I wholeheartedly recommend giving them a try!"

The owner of this establishment is very rude and very confrontational! I was at the dmv with one of my students practicing for a drive test while they are closed so we drove up to where you exit out the dmv and the owner had both lanes blocked off with his car and scooter so I asked nicely if he can move a car to clear one of the lanes so we can get by and he looked over and said "NO!" in a very rude manner... I asked again and he started to get confrontational and got up to my face and told me to get out and that he is not moving any where. We argued for a few minutes and thankfully his wife was there and said she can move one of the vehicles that was blocking both lanes so everyone practicing for the drive test can get by. I just wanted to let everyone know how this man thinks and acts before you spend your hard earned money on this company... I would look elsewhere for sure. read more

DMV Rental Scooter went above and beyond when the DMV messed up and booked me for a regular driving test instead of a motorcycle test. He offered and allowed me to keep the bike as I was lucky enough to book another appointment a few days later. I felt so confident in passing after a few hours of practice. He goes through everything the dmv would ask, from paperwork to scooter inspection. Here's what I recommend: 1. Find a large empty lot or street that is flat so the course could be drawn on. I went behind a supermarket. Dips/bumps can mess you up if you are new at riding. 2. Keep the scooter speed at 5-6mph. This is very important as momentum will keep you up right. You will use the left (rear) brakes to engage and disengage through the turns. You will be and feel in control of the bike. 3. Find a comfortable position for the initial take off. I noticed that I would wobble at the start but addressed that by using the same foot each time to create muscle memory. Overall, pleasant experience and would recommend to any new and experienced rider. You will need the practice! Good luck. read more
