I would strongly recommend getting an independent inspection before buying a vehicle from this…read moredealership. I purchased a 2009 BMW 328i from them. After purchasing it, I discovered that all four wheel bearings were bad. Another shop had quoted me around $3,000 to replace them, while this dealership offered to do the job for around $1,000, so I brought the car back to them. When I received the car back, the ABS, brake, traction/DSC, and service-engine-soon warning lights were all illuminated. Those warning lights were not on when I brought the car in for the wheel-bearing repair. I can't say with certainty what caused the lights, but the fact that they appeared immediately after the repair is obviously concerning. I also don't have the original paperwork anymore, so I can't prove exactly what happened, which is frustrating. Regardless, this was my experience, and I would personally recommend having any vehicle from this dealership inspected by an independent mechanic before purchasing it.

Im going to be very honest in my review and my interactions with the salesman Colin, the finance…read moremanager, and the general manager Peter Sarro. The promises of a car "tomorrow" ultimately turned into a week long ordeal. My car was secured on Thursday and was supposed to be ready for pickup Tuesday. Which turned to Wednesday the latest and finally ended up being the following Monday. I was told the delay was due to the fact that my vehicle needed new tires, but the vehicle was ultimately delivered with used tires. We wanted to trade in our car at the time of sale and put something towards the new car, but were told we could not unless we wanted to wait 2 more days. We had exactly 60 seconds to look at a car we didnt get to test drive because we were rushed because "there are a lot of people picking up today". I was told there were no differences in the cars we looked at and test drove and the car we ultimately ended up buying. This proved to be false. I was never told there was a minimum amount to finance, so when i went in with 2 checks, one was refused due to some undisclosed financing minimum. In face, I was specifically told " I don't care how you pay, its all the same to me" by the manager in the previous visit. My bottom line price was $30,000 OUT THE DOOR. taxes and fees included. When I asked Colin what my total was before I started signing, he told me "Right at 30." He lied right to my face as the price was $31,012. When we went into the finance managers office and started looking at paperwork we questioned why it wasn't a Hyundai Certified Pre owned as that's what we were told all along and the only reason we even went back to the dealer. The finance manager got up, walked out without a word when i threatened this was going to go a whole different way without a certification and we were going to walk away. He then came back with a few payment options all of which included additional warranty coverage like that's the only way the car would be certified. I was never given payment options that did not include an additional warranty. An ultimately $35,000 car didn't come with basics like floor mats or even a manual. Its been 10 days since I've contacted colin about this and have received no response. We were told 2 completely different figures about how much money was put into the car, by the same person and were told if they put anymore into the car it would be over the $30,000 out the door price. Which it ultimately was anyway. We were told when we bought a car, it would be completely gone over with us. This was also not done. So no tutorial, no test drive and no manual. How do you figure out the buttons on a self driving vehicle while you're driving without it being dangerous? A certified pre-owned Hyundai comes with 3 months of sirius radio and bluelink. Mine did not. As part of the 173 point inspection the car must include an owners manual, a quick start guide and owners handbook. mine did not include these. Under that same inspection, there is to be no visable damage to the front bumper or grille and mine is damaged on both and checked off as "no damage" "meets stds" The clock is supposed to be set to the right time. While this may seem like a simple stupid task, even this was not done leaving me questioning whether anything was done. My battery failed the inspection and says no good. It is supposed to include a Carfax specifically, but I had to pay $50 for my own when I got home and realized all the problems with the vehicle and service and sales departments. It was in this Carfax report we discovered it was not a one owner car, it was a 3 year, 36,000 mile lease, which was never disclosed. I was charged for vin etching on a vehicle that was already $700 over my budget. When i called Peter Sarro the general manager and explained my many concerns, he said " are you done? can i talk now? you've been talking for 20 minutes." i expressed that i thought he wanted to hear all of my concerns and that i could see he was not the right person to talk to to try to rectify the situation. I gave him a chance to rectify the situation and that was a kindness, and he pretty much laughed in my face and offered a manual. I thanked him for his time and told him to have a great day and then went over his head. You will get nowhere with these people I have escalated this case to Hyundai Motor America Customer Care and they are NOT happy. I do have to mention Colin was wonderful and went above and beyond until the moment he received our check. That's when the communication changed, the effort stopped and everything was different. The no pressure, upfront pricing and transparency they claim to have as standards are a joke and they do none of those things. We were pressured, lied to about the price and not told so many things.

Updating my review to reiterate my 5-star rating for Carter Chevrolet. These guys know the score…read more My hoopty stopped moving backward the other day (transmission pooped the bed pretty badly...the service advisor was pretty impressed at the level of damage when they cracked it open), so my warranty towed me here. Carter Chevrolet could not have been better during this process and I'm very grateful for what they've done for me. After settling me down on the phone by assuring me the car was warranted to 100K, Carter Chevrolet arranged roadside assistance for me. They squeezed a major repair into a busy service shop so that I could get my ride back as soon as possible. They arranged a rental car for me (granted that got screwed up pretty badly by Enterprise Rent-A-Car, but that got fixed up, too). Carter also kept me abreast of what was going on with my car and when I'd have it back. I never lacked for information, and I could always find my Chevy man if I did have to call. My service advisor has told me to make sure I call him when/if I need any adjustments as transmission repairs of this ilk sometimes require them. And to be honest, I'm probably going to need to do so as my steering wheel is off center (a common problem, from what I'm told). But I am totally confident that Carter Chevrolet will be handling this as well as they did the major repair. As good as it gets folks. I have complete confidence in Carter Chevrolet. And since my other car is a Mazda, I'm happy to know that Manchester Mazda is their garage, too. I know I'll get the same service there. If you have a Chevy, do not hesitate to use Carter Chevrolet!

The work was completed on my bumper and it looked okay. When I got home. I walked around my car and checked everything out. That is when I noticed there was paint residue on my new back tires and the lip of my rear alloy rim was bent. I know it was damaged by someone at Olenders because I had just checked my tire pressure the day before, and my rim was fine. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Olenders. You could bring your vehicle in to have one thing fixed, and end up leaving with something else damaged. Now I have to pay extra to have my alloy rim fixed or replaced.

They made the process as painless as possible for me. The car was priced practically at whole sale, and they did all the running around at the RMV for me. When time came to pick up the car, and trade in my old one, the guy I was personally dealing with (Mike) admitted before we even got IN the car that he didn't get around to filling up the car before I showed up, and gave me some money back to fill it myself. There were some issues with the registration that was of no fault of their own, but they apologised profusely, and because of this hiccup they got me another key to go with my car. As it only had one, and it is one of those expensive laser-cut (with key FOB) that costs hundreds of dollars.
