I went in just to look, not to make any purchases or decisions. I told my salesman that, repeatedly. I still endured over two hours of high pressure sales tactics, and yes they did hold my keys hostage in the finance manager's office so I couldn't drive away. In addition, as a woman, I found it rude and intimidating to be talked down to and talked over, barely able to get a word in until I barked back. Your experience may of course vary, but be ready. In the end I did purchase a vehicle, and the salesman earned a star by driving to me when I was unable to return to the dealership to sign paperwork. But anything for a sale, I guess.

    Made an appt to see a certified preowned Sonata. Confirmed the car was available. He said I should have put a deposit down into wanted them to hold the car. Strike 1 but possible. Salesman shows me another Sonata that we did not like trip package on But made "promises" because he felt bad and Had the ability to get special pricing because of his status at the dealership and if we liked any cars he would hold the car without deposit or the dealership would put the money up. Showed us a third car that was a more expensive trim package. It was blocked in the lot so we could not test drive but he left us alone with car. After A thorough check of the car we said we were interested. The Sales rep said he could get the price intomrhe $24'sHe brought us in to the manager to discuss the numbers and the manager showed us how they were already "losing $3000" on the car for work completed to Pre certify the car. I said that's not how you calculate how much you will make or lose on the car. We decided we would go for the test drive while "he would work his magic on the numbers". While we were walking to the car the salesman mentioned " you guys have some luck, there is another shopper with him mother interested in the car". I asked, do we need to put a deposit down and he said "no we are holding the car for you." We are riding in the test drive and the salesman's phone rings. He answers and says we are in the car now on the test drive and will be back soon. We get back to the dealership and say we like the car, let's go see the manager and where tge numbers are at. We walk back and the manager slides a paper across the counter to the sales rep. They inform me that another sales rep sold the car to the boy and his mom. I asked the manager, what do you mean you said you would hold the car for me. His answer was I understand and I apologize. Was there anything illegal done- probably not. Was there a total lack of integrity and misrepresentation about holding the car, need for deposit - yes. So I now wonder was either car actually for sale or were they getting me to invest time until they actually had such a car available ? Will never know but I will never go back to this dealership. If they create these kind of doubts I can't do business with them.!

Though I did not end up purchasing a vehicle at this moment in time, he still took the time to answer all my questions and never made me feel like he was forcing a deal upon me. He truly wanted me to find the perfect car for me, even if it wasnt something available on his lot. Not something you come across these days. I'll still be keeping an eye on their lot for cars available that fit my preferences moving forward and strongly reccomend them to anyone looking for a great, local dealer to Tolland county!

They give me a loaner car til the following Tuesday, Tuesday comes no car still and the loaner car breaks down and they make it my problem and say they can't do anything about it and then cut the deal and drop off my traded in car and take back the loaner and tell me fuck you basically. Now they returned my car with key scratches and dents all along the drivers side and I have pictures of them unloading 8+ tires from my vehicle and parts as they were using it as storage and transport for parts during the days they had it! Very unprofessional and kept talking crap about my car and my family! Most unprofessional and for sure scam artists!! The loaner car they gave me Was being sold without a warranty too! It broke down 4 days after I was driving it!! They are setting up people to be suckered!
