I stopped by Motor Works Auto Repair of Blaine today around noon without an appointment after the aero shield on my son's Tesla Model 3 had come loose. Two of the screws were causing me issue, so I couldn't remove them to install a replacement. I spoke with the store manager, Ryan, who listened to the situation and offered their complimentary 10-minute wrenchless check. The technician got the car on the lift, quickly fixed the stubborn screws, and explained why I hadn't been able to remove them myself. He also pointed out how important it was to replace the damaged aero shield because it helps protect the electronics underneath the car. When I mentioned I already had a replacement aero shield in the trunk, the technician offered to install it while the car was already on the lift. That level of customer service really impressed me. I can't thank Ryan and the team at Motor Works Auto Repair of Blaine enough for taking care of the problem so quickly, especially without an appointment. Ryan helped me diagnose and fix my cars coolant issue. Started with a hose, then after that was repaired realized the actual problem was a cracked radiator. The guy working the front desk was condescending and rude while trying to sell repairs that were not required to get a vehicle down the road. They also wanted to charge hundreds of dollars for a fuel system cleaning service that comes out of a can. The front desk would add parts to the repair that were not recommended by the technician on their inspection report to try to bump up the cost. These guys are thieves and Chad is a liar and a scoundrel. Would never recommend this place to anyone read more

I called to schedule my first oil change here last month and the gentleman that made the appt was beyond friendly! Great first impression. My Mom had gotten a mailing sent to us for a discount so I thought might as well give them a try. I was beyond pleased with the friendliness of staff (especially Chad) the building was very clean and everything from start to finish was handled extremely professional. I will for sure be going back now that I no longer get my free oil changed from the dealership. Give them a try I can literally guarantee you will be as happy as I was for finding this place. I have brought my current SUV and previous car here for maintenance. I got tired of paying $$$ for Vavoline oil changes and driving over 20 mins to get to the dealership. I'm all for supporting a family run small business vs. a corporate run company. I can wait on their lobby during oil changes, which take under an hour. The lobby has 2 cushy leather chairs and a couple of high top tables with stools. You can watch TV and make yourself a cup of coffee. Many times, I've had to call with a car "emergency " or a question, and they'll have me swing by after work to take a quick look at it. I'm always surprised that I don't NEED to make an appointment and they're willing to work me in. I'm not expecting that but am appreciative of their fast service. I recently have had an oil change, transmission, and coolant flushes. As well as fixing an oil leak under the engine. They know me by name when I walk in, which I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I'm not sure if they offer a rental program if they need to keep your car for days. I do, however, know that they gave me a ride home when the wait was going to be hours long. I live less than 5 miles away. As far as cost, I think they are competitive with similar businesses in the area. My last 2 services were over quoted, and the final bill was cheaper. read more

Never, and I mean NEVER come here! charged a ridiculous price for all services rendered and did not even clean up after themselves. 100% took advantage of a woman bringing her car in for service. replaced parts that did NOT need replacing. this shop is untrustworthy and we will not be coming back. I was in a pinch. I had a ceased valve stem cap and needed air in my tire. I took it in with no appointment. Dealt with Chad. He was was engaging and honest. I told them what it would cost if I didn't get this fixed and they did not take advantage of that statement. I only had to pay for what I needed which was great. I would highly recommend them if you need a honest and trustworthy repair shop. I will definitely use them in the future. read more
