I stopped in to get an air check as I was traveling through many states and noticed I had a low tire. Stopped for air, was ignored in the spot to park for air. Fianlly noticed after 5 mins. Told to wait. Another 10 minutes passed and no one came over. I went to ask for help said they'd be with me. No one was in line, 2 cars inside with 6-8 guys, which were horse playing around but ignoring me. Finally parked in front of the garage doors and asked if someone could help me get air or check my tire. Nothing. Finally asked if there was a gas station with air since no one was going to help me. Crickets. I just left. Never had issues at Discount Tire until this visit, very frustrating especially because I have been using them for decades. read more

We've been here many times. This trip was to check some tires on a car I recently purchased. A dealership told me 3 rims were bent/dented. Discount spun all the wheels and one had a tiny rim distortion but they said it shouldn't effect drivability if I can't feel any wobble or vibration. Saved me around $4,000 or more. Worst customer service we have e ever received from a Discount Tire chain. Stopped in while traveling to have tires rotated and balanced. We were told an hour to an hour and a half. After waiting 2 1/2 hours and watching the customers turn over several times we asked how much longer it may be. Was told by a very abrasive young man that is would be 45 more minutes. Great service. The girl checked all 4 sensors at the free air station, they got a new machine which is pretty cool, set the pressure and let the machine fill the air automatically. We both saw a nail on the left rear tire, sprayed some water and saw the air bubbles. Another guy and she both worked on the flat repair, it was good job done and I was back on the road in less than an hour. Great people and great service here at Blaine Discount Tire. Needed to get all 4 tires replaced. This was bearing the start of winter when most people choose to get new tires because they're worn or to install winter tires for the snow. The website said the next available appointment was later next week, but I drove up to the shop to try for a walk-in. The shop was busy and filled with cars and people waiting. Figured I would ask anyway since i came out there. They had the 4 tires that I wanted and told me it would be about 2 hours to install. I left my car there and an hour and 45 minutes later got a text saying my car is ready for pickup. Definitely faster than I expected with the amount of people in store. read more

Brought in my snowblower tire with a tube from northern tool and I was told they couldn't put a tube in my snowblower tire. I tried to explain I knew it was a tubeless tire but that is how to fix a tubeless snowblower tire but I was not listened to. So I went promptly to Rogers Discount Tire where they were able to squeeze me in quickly and put the tube into my snowblower tire without issue. They even agreed this was the best way to fix it. read more

My front tires on my 1999 Ford Taurus were low so I went to a competitor last night and they told me my tires were shot. I told them I did not ha be money right now for new tires, and just to refill them with air. I went home and worked in the morning and called tires plus to find out what the cost.of new.tired were. I had to go in because I did not know the size of my tires and there were too many options. When I got there I talked to Shame M. Who is the assistant manager at Blaine On at Baltimore Street and he inspected my tires and told me that the deal was broken and my tires were fine. The whole thing cost me $42.00 to fix instead of the $100 plus it would have cost for new tires. Danny Thompson the manager works his tail off for this place, there is so many things going on from ringing phones, the shop, customers in lobby he keeps it all together and still greets everyone with a smile and does the best he can. He just needs some more help which is a good thing. I have been here a few times now, it's usually busy lots of people always calling asking if they can get in same day for tires. I have never heard them turn a customer away while being honest about how long it may take as if you don't have an appointment they are doing you a favor by getting you in. This location repaired a nail for me earlier this year at no charge, I didn't even buy the tires they repaired which I told them. They told me no problem, just keep us in mind for next time. I absolutely did and bought a new set of winter tires of from Danny this year. I ordered them on a Friday, set up the appointment for the following Friday since they were going to take a few days to get in anyway. I like the lobby area you can view everything going on in the shop while waiting. I even got surprised with a rebate on my install day which just came out. I already got my rebate card which they let you do online , came very quickly. Discount Tire is one of the few businesses who actually cares about customer service and experiences no matter how busy they are. They go out of the way for a customer. I love my new tires, got the replacement plan and they are one of the few shops who will touch my summer chrome rims in the summer time. All they do is tires & they do it extremely well. Be proactive people, if you need new tires just make an appointment vs expecting them to drop everything they are doing just for you. Yes flats come up, they will take care of you but don't burden the business just because you have been putting off your tires and walk in expecting to be in and out. They are very flexible with times and if you are in a spot to give them a heads up on an appointment, then do it. It will ensure better experience for you and the business. Secondly my tires were not balanced as they should have been. Took my vehicle to tires plus in blaine and they had to add weights to all tires and were much much more friendly and helpful. I bought my winter tires last year from Blaine Discount Tire. They went above and beyond to find me a set since most brands were sold out. They squeezed me in on Christmas Eve day to make sure I was set for the holidays. Great Service!! The only "complaint" I have is their appointment system. The online scheduling is fast and SUPER convenient, but when I arrived for my appointment on time, I had to sit and wait 15 minutes before I was even helped. I would recommend they change this a bit...maybe have a register for those people picking up vehicles or for appointments. Everyone's time is valuable, but when you make an effort to schedule an appointment, it would be nice to at least check in on time. Just a suggestion. read more

Made the mistake of purchasing tires from NTB in Blaine in January of 12. Only got 30k on tires rated for 60k, NTB refused to assist me with the warranty. This was because I did not have receipts that showed I rotated the tires every 6000 miles. Discount got me a very fair refund and I was out the door with new tires in less than an hour! It was my first experience with the Blaine Discount Tire location. It is difficult to watch how busy this business is at this time of year in Minnesota. The intake technicians have excellent customer service skills and manage to coordinate the busy telephone calls in addition to walk-ins and service by appointment customers. The service technicians work at an amazing fast pace with the utmost safety in mind. I made an appointment on line the same day and was in and out within 45 minutes with four brand new tires. The intake technician showed me a side-by-side comparison between my current tire manufacturer and a secondary option. I chose the secondary option, which was less expensive, with the promise of longer life and functionality.
