I have a mass amount of respect and admiration for Jimmy the owner, and the rest of the staff at this incredibly run dealership. I love supporting small local businesses with a hands on owner and that's what you get with MotoCity Anthem. They take Customer Service to the next level. I firmly believe Service is More Important than Product and based on my personal experience, MotoCity feels the same way. I got a great deal on a New 2025 Yamaha Xmax 300. $8,000 cash out the door and delivered to my Lake House in the White Mountains of Arizona. The transaction and delivery went the way it's supposed to; flawlessly. I purchased the Scooter sight unseen over the phone based on the good vibe I received from my salesman, John. They are a Class Operation that sells Superior products, provides customer service that is second to none and has a hands-on owner. What more could you possibly want from a dealer. I was trying to think of how this dealer could improve and I couldn't come up with anything. This company ranks as one of the best companies I have ever dealt with, not just in the Motorsports industry, but ALL INDUSTRIES for the following reasons. 1. Great Customer Service 2. Doesn't add on fee after fee like other dealers / no hidden charges. 3. Great Products (I am a Yamaha and Honda guy and they carry both). 4. Knowledgeable Sales Staff. 5. Has a Service Department that can handle Warranty issues. 6. Extremely responsive (a live person picks up the phone right away). 8. Saved me hundreds of dollars by not having to hire a delivery company. They delivered it right to my driveway for FREE! I highly recommend this dealer; they will not disappoint. read more

Lies, Lies and more lies. Not only do they lie about what they say and think they can get away with it. Just because I'm a woman doesn't mean that I'm stupid. Just pay for another part. Multiple trips back-and-forth just for the cover. And now the flip windshield issue. If you if you think I'm going to let this go think again because I'm not. You can't even put the parts manager on the phone. You have me talk to Seth who has no clue what's happening. He's just an employee, not a manager. But if that's how you wanna play it that's fine. You will soon realize I'm not stupid. read more

This review is only about buying a bike, I haven't used parts or service yet. Everything was great. The sales person, Bruce, gave me a true out the door price quote on the phone with no hassle, no pressure to "come in and talk" like two other dealers did. Just a number on the specific bike I wanted. I showed up the next day to talk further, sort of expecting the number to be changed, "oh we forgot to add this tax..." But no, the number was real, and was several hundred less than the other quotes. So I did the deal, which took probably an hour-ish I think. No drama. They did make a mistake in paperwork, but corrected it easily with an email and a phone call. Often, how a company fixes mistakes says more than just never making one. Nobody's perfect, I just want ownership of problems and a correction, which is what happened. read more

Rick is always a pleasure to deal with and skips the usual nonsense, gets down to the facts. The entire team were friendly and helpful, making the bike purchasing experience a breeze. Parts and Service were also great with doing some add on work that I wanted - shout out to Staci and crew. I shall be taking my other bikes here for service also going forwards. Highly recommended. read more

I bought a 2022 KTM Freeride E-XC. They are hard to find and I only had to wait about 3 months for it to come in after I put down a deposit. Dealing with Rick was great and he took care of all the details with minimal hassle and kept me updated on when the bike would arrive. Almost everything was done over the phone and the delivery process took less than 30 minutes. I met John, the owner, while I was at the dealership and he was very nice and friendly. Jessica in Parts helped me choose all the gear I needed since I have been out of dirt bikes for a while and I needed everything. She was very patient as I tried on lots of helmets and boots. By the way, they carry many bike brands and have a huge inventory of bikes and side by sides. It is an awesome toy store. Overall, it was a totally positive experience and I can't wait to get my new bike out this weekend. Thanks again! read more

Purchased our side by side from MotoCity back in 2020. Went in since there were some good deals we saw and had been interested in upgrading. When they realized they had underpriced one of their units on the website they tried to change the terms of the deal to discourage us from moving forward but was still willing to give us the same deal on a different unit (even though the terms of the offer were exactly the same and the prices between the two models was only a $200 difference). Complete crooks. Will never do business with this company again as they completely lack integrity. Avoid these clowns at all costs unless you want to get ripped off. $200 difference in total price and they were looking to up our APR from 5.99% to 13.99% and up our term from 72 to 84 months. Was obvious they were trying to talk us in to the other model to the point that we even stepped aside during the sales process and discussed that this was exactly what they were going to do and low and behold they did. Trust your instincts. If you feel like you're dealing with shady people walk away! read more

I must admit, I was wary of purchasing a new bike from a dealership, the perceived hassle of having to negotiate and wondering about hidden fees when they get you in the sales office. I am pleased to write that was not the case with my purchase. I did my research and I knew the bike I wanted, the KTM 790R. I also knew this bike was in high demand and that these bikes do not last long on the showroom floor, so I was prepared for anything. I contacted Motocity and spoke with Rick, who confirmed they had the exact model that I was looking for, "The Last One" they had. Rick immediately sent me photos to confirm we were talking about the exact bike. I knew what the market price for the bike and Rick supplied me the price and was adamant that there was no "Hidden Fees!" I drove down from Vegas and meet with Rick; we inspected the bike and I completed the purchase of the bike with John. John went thru agreement and confirmed there was no "Hidden Fees!" I chose a couple upgrades which needed to be installed. John knew I was excited to complete the purchase so I could head to Flagstaff to "break-in" the bike on some Forest Service Roads. John rushed my bike thru the service department and even paid for my lunch while I waited for it to be completed. Dave "Bulldog" in the service department was outstanding as they completed the upgrades faster than the estimated time. Bulldog went over the bike in detail and assisted with loading my bike and even showed me some tricks to securing the bike. I recommend the entire Motocity crew for your next bike purchase. read more

MotoCity is amazing. John the owner is very personable. The staff in the service area are very responsive and explain everything. They don't try and up sell everything. Kyle and Guy in the parts section are amazing. Highly recommend that if you are anywhere from Phoenix to Prescott come to MotoCity in Anthem they are the best. read more

This occurred 5/5/20. They tote the below "...no hassle Out The Door pricing..." which is not true. I went there tonight (5/5/20) to purchase a motorcycle with $6,000 down and the remaining $2,393 on my credit card. They rejected the OTD pricing because of the 3% credit card fee which would amount to $72.00 in credit card fees accrued to MotoCity. They do not care about transparency, just their bottom line. I immediately went to GO AZ Peoria and bought the same bike 2019 KTM EXC-F, with a lower price. See photo. read more

Great customer service, employees are very easy to talk to and extremely fast service. Called at 9am looking for a 2CT Michelin tire that ridenow wanted $100 markup on. I just recently purchased a 2020 YZ450F. I had a really good price from my local dealer. I thought I would call Motocity and shop their price. I told Bruce I was in the market for a YZ and I wanted his OTD price. I was really surprised to find he was 400.00 less than my local dealer. I was under a time crunch to get the bike and so they above and beyond and delivered the bike to my home. Amazing experience. Great prices, excellent service will keep me coming back. Typically I've always liked this shop, but my opinions have vastly changed after making some fairly large recent purchases here. First off, I walk in to purchase a 2020 CRF125 for my girlfriend, we get a quote and while we are finishing up the paperwork they roll out the bike, first thing I check is the VIN, it shows a 2019 when we did the paperwork on a 2020. I tell them it's not a 2020 and they say "oh of course it is!", After some back and forth, and an hour long wait we finally walk out the door with a 2020 mod. Could've been an honest mistake, but it seems like they were trying to get away with selling a 2019 at 2020 price. Next up, I call in to get a price quote on a 2020 Honda Talon 1000X-4 Fox Live Valve. I live about 2 hours from their shop so I wanted to make a deal before walking in. They quote me a pretty stellar deal! Roughly $25k out the door. My response: "Are you sure we are talking about the Live Valve Edition?" Their response "of course! Come on down and we'll make a deal". I get in the car, rent a trailer and head down, get into the finance department and "Whoops!!" We quoted you on the non Live Valve. That'll be $29k out the door. We settle at $27k and I make the purchase. I get the Honda Talon home, start playing with the odometer and realize they had it switched to the tripmeter! There was already 70 miles on it before I got it home!! That is 30 miles short of its first service interval which requires a full engine oil and transmission fluid change! Life goes on I suppose.. next thing I know, 2 friends of mine are looking to buy Honda Talons too, I tell them, hey why don't you buy mine? I was looking at other models anyways.. Then they tell me they were quoted $25k on a brand new Fox Live Valve Edition. That's $2k less than I paid, and $4k less than they originally tried to charge me less than 2 months prior. To finish it all off, it's been over 6 weeks now and I still haven't received the title to the Honda Talon because of an apparent "typo" with the VIN on the paperwork. Needless to say, I won't be doing business here ever again, and I don't recommend anyone else do either. They all boast "family ran and operated", but they are no better than the big commerical RideNow shops all over the valley. read more

Ordered sand tires and rims for my UTV from Wes in the Parts Dept. He helped me select the right size and type to get the job done. I haven't purchased from them but I am definitely future customer. The ability to puruse the floor without being hounded by 5 salesman the whole time is just so fucking satisfying for a new motorcycle outlet. On top of that, as far as I'm aware bikes are priced OTD. I appreciate you moto city and you'll def have my money when I'm in the market for a new bike. read more

This is the third bike I've purchased from MotoCity Anthem over the past 3 years. I keep coming back due to their OTD pricing, zero BS, no haggling, no stupid mark-ups, no teenaged salespersons and no bait/switch tactics. Staff are friendly, they respect my decision-making needs/process, no pressure, super flexible, and... bottom-line... HONEST! I arrived on Sat to look at a used bike, but ended up with the current year model from the showroom at a real bargain price. Wow, I could not be more pleased. The OTD pricing was super attractive and met all of my financial parameters. Plus, the staff was superb, by every measure. Summary - this is my "go-to" MC shop. I'm an older (and like to think "wiser") consumer who has bought over 40 MCs in my years and find I have little patience with the typical sales cycle or sales BS. I know what i want and what I am willing to pay. Plus, I realize that a store must be profitable, so I don't jerk them around either. I'll walk away from a crappy sales experience in an instant. I've always felt respected, acknowledged and serviced well by the staff at MotoCity Anthem. Thank guys/gals. I appreciate your business model. It works. read more

Sales, financing, parts and service department people were all great during my purchase of a KTM 500 exc-f. What I didn't expect was an attitude from the owner immediately following my sale. They only beat ridenow chandler's price by $97. After the drive and the Attitude from the owner it wasn't worth saving $97. Returned $500 in riding gear and parts due to this. Great price on the bike only get you so far. Will only go back to get the backordered parts from the deal. BUYER BEWARE! Now after the deal and my backordered parts have arrived, I am told the parts are being shipped to me instead of being installed. The deal when I purchased the bike was the bike OTD plus a skid plate and LED headlightwith Install . The condition of me purchasing these accessories was the dealer would install them. I was not pleased with the owner's attitude after the sale and returned my in store purchase $610 in accessories and service warranty of $723. Now the dealer is back tracking and my sales person Derik states that was never discussed, even though I have screen shots of a text message stating this. Please do your homework before buying at this dealer. I deeply regret not purchasing from RideNow Chandler for $97 more and purchasing my versahauler online. Gave a 2 star because the kid that was the salesman was good, the financing guy was terrible, he would not give me a price on what I would be financing, only told me he could get me a loan, I told him I was not willing to put any money down until he got the color of the side by side I wanted so I could see how it looked, he told me I needed to put down 2,500 today and I said no thanks, then he became rude and told me my loan approval was only good for 30 days, I asked him to call me when the color I wanted was in, he said he didn't know when that would be...very poor attitude...I will never use this company read more
