Another long overdue review! Joi is WONDERFUL! She isn't just a massage therapist; she deeply understands the body/mind connection and applies this in her practice. On a whim (and a with very strained back), I found her number. She was able to get me in that day, which was fortunate for me but not necessarily the norm. I carry so much trauma in my body and really needed someone who understood this and how to help me release. Joi was able to do this, and provided such a safe and compassionate space for this release. Up until the holidays, I was seeing her once a month to continue the release. I need to get back to her soon (and will). I highly recommend booking a session with Joi. Her kind presence alone is naturally soothing, and you may find yourself on a helpful maintenance journey for your body and mind. read more

WOW is all I can say, I would give Joi 10 stars if I could! I am from out of town and booked a massage, and booked another session during my vacation. Initially scheduled a 30 minute appointment with Joi. As I filled out the paperwork about what pains me, a realized that I had quite the laundry list of issues and quickly revised it to 60 minutes. I.am.so.glad! Joi gave me one of the best massages I've ever had. Of particular note is her treatment of bursitis in my shoulder and trigger finger. These are two areas that have pained me for a long time and I have very limited movement. She applied the right amount of pressure and thoroughly worked these areas and increased my mobility in just one session. As I write this, it is a few days later and the benefits of the massage are still with me. She is very knowledgeable and attentive in her ministrations. Amazing Therapeutic Massage! What a blessing having found Joi Dupre as my massage therapist. I have been looking for just the right form of massage for quite a while now. From the very first conversation with Joi I had a feeling I would be in good hands, she was kind and very accommodating. I had a lot of pain/stiffness in my shoulders and upper back. Joi helped me get rid of those pains in just 2 sessions which was amazing since before this I would have pain for months and months and not much helped consistently. Joi is an incredible yoga instructor. Every time I attended her class, I felt so peaceful and at home. I'd come into the studio, set up my mat, grab my props, settle down, take a deep breath and slip into another world. For an hour and a half, I forgot about everything that was weighing on me and only thought about my body, movements and breath. I left feeling light, energized and rested. Joi Dupre is the ultimate professional and knows her stuff regarding therapeutic massage. I initially went to her to help me through a rotator cuff injury. Her intense work on my shoulder eliminated me needing cortisone shots as well as surgery. I continued to see her about back issues. She regularly put me back together and allowed me to continue my active lifestyle with golf, running, and working out. I miss her terribly here in Atlanta, and have yet to find someone as good as her. Her expertise in technique enabled her to provide the heavy pressure that I needed.
