Then a torn bicep tendon reattached 12 years ago, and with Karen's brilliant work, 100% strength and extension. Then in 2019 I tore multiple tendons, muscles, and ligaments in my shoulder in a skating accident. Completely re-built shoulder in surgery. Once again, Karen helped me regain strength and mobility and today (at 64yrs of age) I'm doing 45 pushups and 10 pull-ups in an "L" along with my Physical Therapy exercises. I've had chronic lower back pain and discomforts for many years. When I stand, my lower back…read morestiffens and it was preventing me from standing completely straight. I was always leaning forward a little. When I lay down on my back, I automatically curl my knee up and stretch it to the other side of my body for relief. Standing for 15 minutes begin to feel like all the upper body weight was crushing my lower back. I don't want to live the rest of my life like this. I went to see Dr. Anthony Chau at City Spine Center. He took x-rays and evaluated me fully. The x-rays showed two compressed discs. He recommended me to set aside M-W-F for two months to treat each disc separately by using a spinal decompression machine to safely stretch my spine at a specific angle to allow nutrients and fluids into the disc to relieve some of the compression. My first treatment was instant gratification. The stretching gave me relief and it felt great! Dr. Chau follows up the treatment with neck and full spine adjustments every week which compliments the decompression from the machine. I felt better and better after each visit with these two combined treatments. When I was done with my second disc treatment, I felt 85% better. I was very happy with the outcome. That means 85% less pain. Although the outcome wasn't 100%, it was a huge improvement. Then around one month later, I noticed my back was completely freed! No more discomfort whatsoever. All straightened. Like new. I think it took a few weeks for my spine to recalibrate from all the regular treatments. Now the treatment had stopped, the spine took some time to settle. This is just my theory. How else can I explain from having chronic pain for a long time to no more pain and discomfort after my treatments. It has been nearly three years since I had my treatments as of this writing and my back is still like new. If you have a back problem, see a chiropractor right away. This is their specialty. Although you don't know the outcome, but it's worth trying. Like any medicine and treatments, they don't always work for everybody, but it's worth trying. Otherwise you remain in pain and you will never know unless you try. The question is which chiropractor do you see? For that, recommendations are always the best. Since I have a long term fix, I am very happy to recommend Dr. Anthony Chau. Good luck to you on your way to heal.

I was referred here by my crazy expensive doctor as a way to totally rip me off. My doctor…read moremisdiagnosed me with "tendonitis" and then sent me here for PT and they couldn't even property treat the issue. NOTE: the issue was later property diagnosed by two other doctors. When I booked my first appointment, all they were concerned about was getting me on the books for 8 appointments, and completely unconcerned about whether they were necessary or not. After several treatments of "pull on this rubber band", I had enough of the layering of services to jack up the price and not being able to know what I was being charged for until months later. James is nice enough and knows his stuff, and the PT staff are amicable, but like other reviewers have mentioned, the billing here is a mess. The office staff is incredibly incompetent and I actually had to stop the exquisitely dumb receptionist mid-sentence from reading all of my personal, financial, and credit information to the entire waiting room and PT office. This is totally unacceptable practice and I definitely won't be back.

The front end receptions are the worst. Tried to make an appointment for the 1st time, left several…read moremessages and couple weeks later no return calls. Came here and they literally tossed a clip board at me to fill out the forms. Every time I talk to them they don't know what they are talking about such as scheduling and are rude about it. The rooms and equipment are not cleaned after use or treatments. You see them asking patients move from one machine to another but never see anyone cleaning it before or after. In the evaluation rooms, there are no paper lining the tables but they tell patients to lie on them and never see anyone wipe before of after. Even the tables only have air fresheners and no cleaners. The only reason for the amount of stars that they are getting is because Dan knows his stuff. Thought I was never going to go back after the 1st visit but Dan brought attention to a lot of things my doctors failed.

What really stood out…read moreto me is how Michelle takes the time to truly ask questions and listen to what's going on, instead of just putting you through a routine of weekly stretches and strengthening exercises. The care feels very personalized and intentional. I went in with an LCL tear, and with their help I was able to get back to 110%. One of the things I appreciated most was their use of the Stride Hub app. It made it easy to review my exercises anytime, which was incredibly helpful when I forgot details like how long to hold a stretch. The team is also extremely responsive whenever questions come up. 10 out of 10, I would recommend them.
