I've been suffering from sciatic pain for over 6 months. I dreaded getting up each morning because…read moreI knew the pain would be unbearable and last all day. I went to see Dr. Fretty on the recommendation of a friend. Dr. Fretty suggested a spinal decompression therapy that required 3 office visits per week for 8 weeks. I'll admit, it seemed like a lot, especially since I came from 45 minutes away. The pain worsened, and I decided to give Dr. Fretty's recommendation a try. It was that or I felt I would be suffering from this for the rest of my life. I am in week 6 of treatment, and I am so very happy to finally have relief. In the previous weeks, I was at a pain level of 10 for most of the day. A few weeks later, my pain gradually went from all day pain to severe morning pain with tingling during the day. For the past 5 days I have not experienced the morning pain. For the first time in months, I am thinking that I do not have to live with this for the rest of my life. If you are experiencing sciatica, I highly recommend Dr. Fretty's practice. He is compassionate and sincerely cares for his patients. I am so glad I took the leap and committed to this therapy. I hope you find this review helpful and give Dr. Fretty the opportunity to help you get back to a pain free life, too.

I had a very disappointing experience at Danny Chan Chiropractic. I arrived about 15 minutes late…read morebecause I genuinely forgot about the appointment, and the front desk staff was already rude from the start. Even though they decided to still take me in, the entire interaction felt unprofessional. After filling out the paperwork, I mentioned I would be paying out of pocket. During a phone call I had with the office about 3 weeks earlier, I was told the visit would cost around $110-$120. However, the front desk suddenly told me it would be $200. When I explained what I had previously been told, instead of trying to help or clarify professionally, I was asked "what office did you call?" and told it was "maybe the coupon price." If that price was discussed before, it should have been honored or at least handled respectfully. Instead, I was basically given an ultimatum: either continue with the appointment at the higher price or cancel. I chose to cancel. Overall, the customer service was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I will not be returning.

I will now stop going to the other two Chiro and stick with Dr. Wong. I thought I have found the one with the first Chiropractor but was wrong. Dr. Wong is the one. Bonus- her clinic is 5-10 mins away from my house and does accept my insurance which is a huge PLUS!!! I got just adjusted by the first Chiropractor last Wednesday, and Dr. Wong still cracked my back like it was my first time. It was more intense but felt good afterwards. I'm hopeful that the pain in my right arm will go away. I'm definitely going back for my forever maintenance ;) Thank you, Dr. Wong for taking care of me today (04/05/25) The clinic is big and clean. The receptionist is welcoming. There's plenty of parking in the area.

My care at Glen Park Chiropractic with Dr. Sokolsky has been outstanding…read more My initial consult was a breeze to coordinate - I heard back from Dr. Sokolsky within a day and was seen in clinic in the same week. I remain impressed with Dr. Sokolsky's exemplary communication and scheduling flexibility even now after several months of maintenance care at the practice. Dr. Sokolsky's use of the "Activator Method" was new to me when I came to the practice. It is gentle and subtle - a relief to me, as I'm leery of the twists and cracks that often come with many chiropractic approaches. Above all - I FEEL great. I've suffered back pain and stiffness for many years prior to my now routine care with Dr. Sokolsky. Now - I wake up loose and pain free. I move more easily/freely and with less worry that I am one wrong move away from a setback. I really encourage anyone reading this who suffers from back/spine issues to reach out for help - you're in the right place here and in absolute EXPERT hands with Dr. Sokolsky!

Knowing that it was an area with pain, he should not have bent it so quickly during our free consultation. He should have known to be more careful or at least to ask about the area. Yes it is normal to test the full range of motion, but it should have been done more slowly and carefully to avoid potential pain.
