It's a standard motel with access to the rooms from the outside and no breakfast. It does have laundry machines in the hallways and McDonald's is out in the parking lot. My door had no lock and the tub was dirty. It was hard to pick a temperature as the dials did not have any labels on them to know if one was hotter or what. No fridge. Plush bed. Sink outside of bathroom. Well-lit parking lot. Plenty of counter space for suitcases. Hardwood floors. Laura at the desk was nice. Cheap and sketchy, probably not good for families, except there's a bowling alley in the plaza.

mouse ate my dogs food in the middle of the night. (room 106)

The service is great. They have a really good breakfast in the morning downstairs French toast and eggs, fruit, yogurt and do much more you can make your own waffle. There is coffee and tea all day long and again the service at the front desk is great they help with information and directions. It was superb. We really enjoyed our stay. We will be back in October. The only downside is that the room smelled stale and the television in the living room didn't work.

TV & wifi very good and we both fell asleep fast and slept well! (that never happens). Coffee fine and breakfast had better than average options. Hotel eggs but salsa and tiny bottles of hotsauce were available! For oatmeal there was an excellent topping station with walnuts And almonds, plus strawberry compote and mango sauce, yum! King studio Room 303 was spacious and clean, smelled clean. Only drawback was no fan in bathroom, right next to bedroom. My favorite touch was the mini basketball court! Note: they take a small security deposit at checkin - not $1000 like it said on Booking dot com.

Invasive ID Requirements at Check-in and Lack of Safe Feeling…read more In July 2019, I spent one night at the Quality Inn in Chicopee, MA. It was a layover during a long car trip. The staff member who checked me in asked for my credit card and driver's license. That seemed normal - to confirm my ID. However, she then photocopied my driver's license and kept the copy. This is the first time in decades of travel in various US cities and states that a hotel took a photo copy of my license. During my stay, I sent a linkedin message to a member of the hotel firm's executive leadership describing what happened and my concerns. I asked that they please let me know why the copy is needed? And, what is done with the copy after I check out? Is it kept on file? Discarded? If discarded, is it shredded or placed in a secure "to shred" bin? Overall, staff were nice. More than a month later, I have not received any response. I did talk with the desk staff at check out - and asked about the license photo copy. She said it's done for all quests. The staff member offered to give me back the photo copy of my license (which I took). She opened a desktop file drawer which had the same paperwork for the entire house. I don't mind showing my ID but who knows how many copies they make and with whom they shared that information. I made my reservation at the last minute so I had a limited number of hotels to book. In the past, I've stayed at Quality/Choice Inn hotels and felt they were decent and at a good price. Unfortunately, this was not the case in Chicopee. The other issue I have with this location is safety. I did not feel safe at the hotel right away and during the stay. I have stayed in many hotels - Choice and others and have rarely felt this way. Even in ones off the interstate and/or in industrial areas, as this hotel was situated. I hope my feedback - via this forum, and other follow ups with the hotel firm directly - serves to improve the experience and practices at this location. Final thoughts - old infrastructure, lots of steps, not many ramps. Not fully ADA compliant. If you have to stay here, ask for a room in the new portion of the building.

The pillowcases and sheets and towels didn't look like they were even clean... In other words when they would redo the room after a guest left . They would leave the old towels that were sitting there. If they looked clean enough they would just reuse them . It just was terrible. Don't fall for the cheap price ... this is probably the reason

It was about midnight on a Saturday and we called about 20 different places before hitting the jackpot (*cough*) with the Econo-Lodge. On the plus side, they are located right off the Pike, and was easy to find. We parked the car, and walked in. The hallways smelled like cat piss, and the room was tidy. For the first night way from the baby, I slept like a log... probably because I was exhausted, and not because it was cozy. The man showered the next morning (I decided to wait until we got home). Got all the way home, and he realized he left his chain behind. We called about a dozen times... they couldn't find it. Which translates into someone couldn't find it..... In their own pocket. *sigh* Whatever. Now I know what to get him for Christmas.

The bad: It's kinda a dumpy, frumpy, funky smelling place. Wouldn't describe it as scary... but yeah, not cozy either. Don't stay here if you can afford better, seriously. Certainly don't stay here if it's more than one or two nights. Beds are hard. Hotel runs out of hot water some mornings. Smells like mold. There's a hotel employee who sits in the breakfast room every morning staring at people eat. I think he's there to make sure no one "steals" breakfast food. Creepy.
