Upon arriving, I was in awe of how it sat on the hill amongst the beautiful changing leaves. Once I entered the office, the manager was very professional and very quickly checked me in. When I walked to my room, I initially was not thrilled that I was on the highest side, but the views were awe-inspiring. Once I entered the room, I was impressed by the upgrades in the decor and the overall quality for a budget motel. Throughout the property, there were a lot of signs about rules, but that kept everything in order. I did hear some highway noises, but it wasn't too disruptive. For a one night stay I selected here & okay even if elevator was not available I can walk stairs & my room was on the second floor. Price was pretty low considering & it's near US 3/Spaulding Turnpike & you will hear the freeway traffic (then again who's perfect) & there's some assets/liabilities with some but hey it's just life. Horribly ran. Weve stayed at many motel 6s and we do not for the life of us recommend this location to ANYONE. The manager with Karen haircut screams at guests and calls them names when confronted with issues (very strange experience I don't think ill ever have ANYWHERE else, nor have had anywhere ever) The place is gross- we even had to place a knife under the drain in the shower in order to drain the water properly the entire time were there so we wouldn't have to shower in a river. Maintenance men come unannounced into rooms without badges and claim that they work for the hotel and start working on problems without regard to who's in the room, (I'm glad it was an actual maintenance man and not some random murderer from the street I let in!) I still don't even know what he was doing in my room, he didn't fix anything. They are also EXTREMELY stingy on the coffee and put it back early so they don't have to deal with refilling it, and also put it out very late. The place is a wreck and the property is littered in drugs (not weed, REAL drugs), which the manager is actually apart of. The front desk blonde girl, Taylor, couldn't have been ruder calling me stupid, either, after asking when I'd be able to get help from the manager. About as bad as it gets. The non-smoking room reeked badly of smoke. They did accommodate a change to another room that only had one pillow on the bed. But that's not bad at all. After our first night of a 3-night reservation, we stayed out late with relatives and decided to spend the night rather than driving back very late to the motel. The next morning, our motel room was emptied (my $80 phone battery went missing) and we we told we were a "no show." The management had packed up our belongings and evicted us. They treated US like some kind of criminals. Apparently they had a computer glitch that did not show our 3-night reservation and thought we'd just left our suitcases and personal items behind???? We asked why they didn't call us. The manager told that they "do not provide that service." NOTE TO CORPORATE MANAGMENT: making that phone call prior to eviction your policy could have saved a lot of bad feelings and $$ on your part. Eventually the manager compted us a new room for our last night. No pillowcases. Again, room had a stale odor of smoke. Only a couple reasons what I like about Motel 6 in Nashua. #1- Taylor at the front desk. She is very friendly and respectful of other people and the guests that come and go. #2- location is perfect. Close to route 3 and lots of stores and restaurants near me. #3-Cops are here during the weekends sometimes. I didn't write this review now as I didn't want to recount it, but after seeing a post about hotels and motels being bystanders of trafficking, I feel that I am obligated to post t Last summer, I stayed at a hotel in the Motel 6 in North Nashua, NH while in town for a funeral. That night, I'm pretty sure I was almost trafficked. I checked in alone, and was 18 at the time. My first red flag was the group of men by the stairs at 10 at night. I checked in, with a highly unprofessional man at the front who kept asking questions about me and didn't even ask to see my ID for check in, which were me first two red flags. When I went up to my room, it seemed like a girl who was with the group of men followed me to see where my room was before scurrying off. She looked unwell- my third red flag. I got to the room, and it was not the one I had booked; it was a double queen when I had booked a king. Suspicious, I checked to see if I was really even 'checked in by checking to see if any money had been pulled from my card for my stay- it wasn't. It was so late at night I had nobody to call to come get me, and I didn't have a car as I was dropped off, so I was stuck. I realized that in the system, there was no proof of me ever checking in, so if i disappeared, it was like I was never there. Around 11 pm, I began to get aggressive knocking at my door. I looked through the peephole and a burly man was there. I said nothing out of fear. After about 5 minutes, he stopped knocking, but when I checked the hole again, he was still standing out there, waiting. He eventually went away until around 1 am where he and another man returned. He began knocking again while I could see the shadow of the other man trying to look through my blinds to see if I was in there. They attempted to open the door. Terrified, I bound the door with floss and shoved a chair under the handle to reinforce my safety. They stayed out there for about an hour before running off. That whole time, in the lot, there was also a dark van with tinted windows. I luckily got out of there fine, but I'm pretty sure I would have been trafficked had I opened the door. In the morning, my aunt came and picked me up and I told her what had happened. We checked in up front as a different man was up there and told him what happened but he merely shrugged it off, and said I wouldn't be charged for the night. I did not stay the second night. The actions of the motel staff in not checking me in correctly, allowing people to roam the hallways at night, and not caring about what happens within the motel mortified me; god knows what could have happened. With all of that said, the staff was unprofessional and rude, the room felt disgusting and grimy, the shower was dirty, it it was dusty over all. The blankets on the bed were extremely thin/sparse. Haunted by Hair ...... EWWWWW!! Well, the room was less than clean; there were several OBVIOUS short black hairs in the bathtub that were easily rinsed away when I turned on the shower. This tells me that the room could not possibly have been cleaned. I got into one of the two double beds to be scared once again by a single black hair. Entirely grossed out at this point, I leapt into the other bed which seemed ok until the morning light when I turned the blanket over to find (yes!) a long black hair (see photo -- obviously not mine!!). Motel 6 has a reputation of being a sleazy hotel... I'll be honest I find it a decent value. The rooms are OK, the pillows on the bed are lacking... I'm leaving after several days with the worst neck and back pain. But all in all it's pretty decent. My issue however is I asked for an extra hour as my flight home isn't until late tonight. I'm here for work with no car which means I will be at the airport nine hours prior to my flight leaving. There is absolutely no reason they could not have let me stay one hour. I understand they have a bunch of rooms that they have to turn over but the request to stay for one hour should not have been turned away. That's just poor customer service. There is no reason they cannot of asked the housekeepers, which I was told they're only three that have to turn over 100 and something rooms, to service my room a little later. read more

Motel 6 is usually on my top hits as budget friendly and very basic, comfortable accommodations you can get across the United States of America. While it may seem like it's bear bones to many, it's almost ideal for me when you travel frequently on a budget. I often choose the Motel 6 brand, if and when the option presented itself to me, while I travel and run marathon races across the country and Canada. The option presented itself again when I decided to stay here for one night in Nashua, NH on a recent trip in mid October 2016. It was the cheaper option to stay here versus hotels in Manchester, NH. Plus, it's about a short 20 minute drive from this Motel 6 to Manchester Boston regional airport (MHT). I arrived here around 7:30pm on a brisk Wednesday evening. The Motel is very close the interstate and it's very easy to get in and out of the area. The check in process was smooth and quick, asking for credit card and driver's license to provide identity. After signing a paper asking for acknowledgement of non smoking and car info, I got the room key and proceeded to get to the room as soon as possible. I had an early flight out the next morning and needed that sleep so I could function as normal as possible. Sometimes, it's all about the sleep and coffee doesn't do anything for me. The overall experience with Motel 6 was as decent as ever. As mentioned before, they provide safe and basic comfort at budget friendly prices. They don't have the bells and whistles many other hotelier brands have, but they do make up for it by having room rates low. The property seems to be like a converted apartment building, with the lobby on the ground floor as soon as you enter up the drive way. This Motel 6 property is located at 9999 Main Street here in Nashua, NH. It's right off i-93, so you can't really miss it. They accept major credit cards, which is always a great thing, especially when you're a frequent traveler. They have a private parking lot for paying guests, which was decent sized, but could be a problem if one night they max out. While motel 6 does not have free continental breakfast, they have wifi, although you would have to pay for it. When I tried to connect to it, it offered payment options, so I just decided to use my cellular data for the night instead of the wifi. The room rates are competitive here, you can get a king bed for $65/night. It's a decent rate on the lower end of the hotel spectrum, so you can stretch your travel budget further. The room itself was rather spacious. I slept on a king bed that night I stayed. It was pretty comfortable to where when you spread out on a king bed, you usually get awesome sleep and you're out for at least 6 1/2 hours. I think I got about 7 1/2 hours that night before heading out to catch my 7am flight out of MHT regional airport the next morning. The television worked pretty good, but didn't used the microwave in the room. The room was clean and the bed was made neatly before I got into it. All in all, I can't complain. A Goodnight's sleep at a safe motel at a reasonable price. That's pretty much what I can say about this place. The check out process was fairly fast and friendly too. Give them your room keys and tell them you want to check out. Wait for your printed receipt and you're good to go. While the hotel's bell's and whistles are very much appealing for just about anyone, a clean comfortable room is probably the thing that most people want, regardless of price. Motel 6 meshes these things together and comes up with a business model that works and it helps me plan better. I would recommend staying at Motel 6 here in Nashua, NH or anywhere Motel 6 is located. Budget friendly or not, it's safe and clean. Comfortable and a good feeling all around when you don't have to pay so much for a night's stay. 4.5 stars for the room rate. 4.0 stars for the overall experience. 4.5 stars for the basic room comfort and the bed. I've stayed here on numerous occasions and never had any problems, that is up until tonight. The girl who checked us in was amazing! That's the ONLY reason for the 1 star. So we got to our room around 6 this evening. Went back out and when we arrived back at the hotel my boyfriend went to take a shower, there was long black hair all over the shower and walls (mind you I am very blonde) thats not even the worst part, after we went to bed I awoke around 3 to use the bathroom and when I turn the bathroom light on 4 cockaroaches (2 on the floor and 2 climbing the walls) scurried away. I came back to the bed area and low and behold there were cockaroachs all over the floor and climbing up the walls onto the headboard. This place is horrendously disgusting! It is essential to understand this is a basic hotel with no frills--it is what it is--there's good, but room for improvement. I stayed here for one night recently; however, I stayed here in the past when it was a Red Roof Inn while visiting family in Nashua. First and foremost, the staff were very friendly and professional. The room was clean but basic. The bed was really uncomfortable, I felt the mattress springs digging into my back and the pillows were slightly thicker than a piece of paper. Overall, if you're someone who wants to spend a lot of time in the hotel, look somewhere else. If you're looking for a clean place to lay your head, you'll be fine here. I'm not sure if it's a Motel 6 thing or not but when I first walked into the lobby to check in it just smelled of cigarette smoke or some kind of stench. The room had the same smell. Check in was pleasant, the gentleman was nice. Did not explain the property or where the room was. I had to ask. Internet is not free, there are two different price plans. The room was OK. What I don't understand is that there is a sign that indicates no smoking however there was an ashtray next to the phone in bed. There were some hair on the sheets which I wasn't happy about. No alarm clock, wall-mounted air unit no shampoo conditioner or lotion just a bar of soap. Shower was good. Bed was comfy but the smell was terrible in the room. There was a comment card that was next to the bed that I would've filled out but there was no Pam. Although the price was reasonable and low I have stayed at other locations and I have had better amenities and experiences. This motel is TERRIBLE...the rooms were DIRTY, floors sticky ...the sheets down to the mattress were stained(even when I changed the sheets the sheets they gave me were stained!!) the toilet constantly overflowed and the tub didn't drain....the police were there daily.... THE STAFF WAS VERY GOOD AND ACCOMMODATING EXCEPT FOR THE PURPLE HAIRED LADY ..she needs some training in customer service, she had a truckers mouth and I saw her chasing people off the property, gossiping about guests, and I even saw her taking folded up money on two separate occasions...she was so scary and nasty ..other guests told many stories about her and voiced how they had to "kiss her rear or they wouldn't have a place to stay"...sad...I heard her telling people to leave reviews on her and she would take care of them ..I also saw her harass a poor couple that was staying there to the point that I was upset about it...so my advice is that the owner should stand up because it seems like this lady ran the place she wanted to (like a high school if yu ask me) and get rid of her and hire more cleaning staff and update the property. read more

It would be one thing if this motel was a little dirty and scroungy, but this place is gross, people's hair left in the rooms, don't far fill up the tub or you'll see all the filth floating on the top. Every room including the non smoking rooms smell like smoke. I brought my puppy and she was chasing a roach. Absolutely nasty. Absolutely the worst place I have ever experienced in my life. The only reason we stayed here is for Black Friday shopping and it's a half way point to our North Conway destination for vacation. One star is even too much. Checked into 301 bed had fresh bodily fluid and pubic hair. Staff moved us to 303 and the staff I guess didn't know the prior guests never left, where we went into a room full of people smoking and trash everywhere. Then staff moved up to room 304 on opposite side of the building, here everything seems fine until we woke up to bites on our bodies and 3 VISIBLE BED BUGS crawling on the sheets. Stayed in September 2017. The Front Desk Staff is the only reason this location even got any stars! Non-smoking rooms still reeked like pungent cigarette smoke, that was poorly covered by woman's perfume. It kinda smelt like how it would smell if you visited your twin Aunts from the Simpsons. I chose that location to be in the middle of nowhere, quiet enough to study for an exam. The room had a desk and a very questionable office chair. When I pulled it away from the desk, I could see crumbs and dust on it. I took a wet white cloth to it and let's just say, that cloth is now black, not even overexaggerating. Smoke in room and furniture was so bad, I now still smell it in my sleep machine, and have re-soaked it 4 times. I changed rooms twice, and wasn't going to do it a 3rd time; so, I called corporate and spoke to a woman who took down my number and said she'd call me back if we were mysteriously disconnected. It started off pleasant, but somehow, mysteriously disconnected and nothing was resolved due to never getting a call back as promised. Front desk never reached out to me as the agent said they would. I just gave up and stayed the night due to exhaustion after studying. While I was there, a domestic between bf and gf occurred the floor below and cops responded. Also, while I was there, to dissipate the room from overwhelming cigarette smoke, I kept the door ajar with the door latch as a security measure. A tenant reached their hand in to toggle latch and when I opened the door to address it with them, they made up some BS lie about checking to see if anyone inside was distressed. Anyways, all this wasn't a reflection of the front staff, the front desk staff was very nice actually, despite refusing to refund my first night. The experience myself and company have had this weekend has been horrible. Staffing our first night was wonderful, but she was from another location. But our room and 2 others were left open upon arrival. The very next morning we left for a while and came back to unmade beds, no clean towels or wash cloths, and property of ours stolen. We took the issue to the front desk and the receptionist didn't even make eye contact with us as we addressed the issue. He claimed to have no knowledge of who cleaned our room, and has yet to fix our issue. The only reason this review has received a single star is because yelp won't allow a 0 star review. My husband and I have stayed, many times, at this hotel, both separately and together, over the years. What transpired our last time is inexcusable, and maybe even against the law. My husband had checked out after a three night stay, but while in Boston that day we realized we were too tired to return to Pennsylvania that night and so I called up to reserve one more night. A short time later I receive a phone call informing me that the reservation was cancelled because I had been "banned for life" from your hotel for "aggravated conduct!" I was in shock and assured the front desk that I had NEVER had any issues with your hotel, had never even removed a bar of soap, certainly did not ever trash the room AND I had never had any problems with the front desk!!! I said that they had to have me confused with someone else. Obviously, they didn't care. So, we decided to show up in person to ask what we could do about this unbelievable situation. I had 3 reservations coming up for more stays and I needed to get this resolved. We were totally dismayed and shocked at our "reception." I asked what I was accused of doing as I had not had any problems OR issues, and was asked "when did you stay last? It's simply on the record that you were labeled "banned for life for aggravated conduct!" I couldn't remember when last I stayed as I usually pay cash, but knew it had been a considerable length of time. I asked why she would not tell me WHAT I was accused of doing, by whom, and when, and the lady refused to tell me!!! I said, "how can I defend myself when you won't even tell me WHAT I've done, when, or who reported it!!! I had received no notification, by phone, in the mail, or at check out, that there were any problems! Also, I had several reservations coming up, in my name, and they were confirmed! I was humiliated and very distraught at my good name being branded with no explanation WHY. I told her that I did remember that the last time I stayed, my room assignment was switched 3 times. First, the room wasn't ready after 3:00 and I was too tired to wait so I asked for a different room. Then, the 2nd room had too many things broken so I was switched again. Also, while checking in, in the lobby there were 2 girls being refused entry because they were under age and they ended up swearing and causing a major disturbance and the front desk called the police. I told her that didn't it seem very likely to her that I was accused of something in a room that I had actually been switched from, and there was a case of mistaken identity? She very obviously didn't care and just kept repeating that I was banned for life for aggravated conduct, yet refused to tell me WHY!!!!! I hold my reputation in VERY high regard and this was a humiliating and degrading experience. How can a hotel simply decide to ban someone for life and then refuse to tell them WHY???? I left, humiliated. I have checked some of the reviews, since, and low and behold, I am not the first one this has happened to. You should be sued for the lack of professionalism you show your guests. At the very least you should be ashamed of yourselves for humiliating and labeling a law abiding guest like a criminal, instead of labeling her with "aggravated conduct" and yet feel that you shouldn't, at the very least, tell her WHY!!!! I cannot believe, in this day and age of "political correctness", your establishment decides to trample on the innate right of a person to face their accuser...or at LEAST to know WHAT they are being accused of!!!! WORST place Ive ever stayed!!!! We paid almost $70/per night for 2 rooms, 3 days. Ive paid LESS and have gotten more!!! NO fridge, NO microwave, NO coffee maker, NO blow dryer, NO pencil/pen & pad. WIFI is NOT free, you must pay PER day, PER device!! Free "continental breakfast" is a cup of coffee!! REALLY?!?!? Floors are bare, NO carpeting, which were dirty, gritty, grimy, disgusting to walk on!!! Room smelled like a wet dog!! To call another room, you have to call front desk & they connect you, one time no answer & I tried for 5 minutes!! Had to go directly to other room instead!! NO PRIVACY SIGN, maid service knocked on door, & tried to open door without even waiting for a response, door opened enough to be able to look inside!! We were not dressed!!!!When they came while we were gone, didn't change sheets!! One of the days, didn't even come so we didn't get any fresh towels!!! Parking lot was EXTREMELY icy, big hill, almost didn't make it, no salt/sanding done!!! We got back late in evening, so had all day to salt/sand!! Checkout is 12pm, got a knock on door PRECISELY at 12 asking very rudely if we are not staying , to leave!!! The only good reason to stay at a M6 is if you are homeless, sleeping on a park bench AND if its FREE!!!! OTHERWISE, its NOT WORTH ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY!!!!!
