A nice hotel with great front desk staff. Super helpful, kind and patient. Parking is free and easy to find. Ubers find you easily as well. Some rooms are $160 a night so a great deal. They also have jacuzzi and a gym! I would definitely go back and whether you're a diamond member or not they are very attentive The free breakfast is so yummy too! My first time in the state of New Hampshire and I stayed at this hotel and I it was a mixed bag. Employees are super nice, the rooms are clean and spacious, and you are walking distance from a grocery store and a few places to eat. The best part was the ducks that greeted me early in the morning as I was leaving. The part I'm not too happy about was the shower situation. The way the shower is built, you can't adjust the temperature of the water without fully immersing yourself in there and getting hit with a blast of cold water. I hate cold showers! read more

My fiance and I stayed here for a family wedding. While we were very busy and didn't get to spend too much time at the hotel, there were a few great things , and a few not so great things I'd like to mention. The pros : the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate us when it came to giving us a space on the evening of the 4th to have a family dinner ( we are a BIG family lol ). To be honest, the kindness of the front desk is the reason I'm giving 4 stars rather than 3. They have a good selection of snacks in the lobby, as well. There is ample parking, and our king bed room was spacious. There is a gym and a pool. The area is convenient - you are close to many restaurants and things to do. The cons : the hotel is dated - our bathroom sink moved around. There is a distinct smell in certain areas. We only got our room cleaned once during our stay. Only one elevator was working. The beds were not comfortable and pillows are way too soft. Overall, would not stay here again but highly appreciative the service of the front desk read more

This hotel could use some updates. Rooms and public spaces look sad and drab, and the restaurant/bar area is just plain depressing. There is convention space attached to this hotel, so it's very busy. Staff was helpful enough, but not super friendly. The hotel I stayed in was clean and very comfortable. I enjoyed the modern design of their bathrooms and the shower pressure all together. The bed was definitely comfortable. My only issue was their customer service, they had me under the wrong name and suggest that I get in contact with the person who set up the residency as I was there for my residency. I booked an extra stay because I wanted to make sure I got there on time as I had to travel from NY, so it was under my name not the person who was in charge of the residency. I did get help once I got there by Megan and yeah they were the ones who booked me incorrectly. The person who answered the phone did not want to help at all. The food was good also. I'm going to go ahead and rate four solid stars mainly based on the fantastic staff and quiet rooms. Walls are thick, I was facing the back of the hotel, and the staff are so nice and helpful. The rooms are old, sorta stained, I thought maybe I had mold on my bathroom ceiling (turns out it wasn't) but they came with vinegar anyway to clean it, which was above and beyond. The quietness of the room was a godsend for me, I work a noisy job and really need quiet time. It's unusual to find this while touring and honestly even at home, my apartment is much louder than the hotel. There was also a great gym which I didn't use but it's epic. Thanks! read more

This is our second time here and the staff are always so nice. This is one of our favorite hotels now when we come up (we live on cape,but occasionally visit family nearby). The bartender was great, the jacuzzi is AMAZING (except the liner is coming up off the floor), and the room was very clean. The only issue is the cookies smell and look amazing. The only problem is they have nuts in them and I am allergic. It would be nice if they made nut free cookies. Otherwise, looking forward to coming back. read more

Warm cookies at check in is always a nice treat on a cold day. I've stayed here for about decade (brand change at some point). Grocery store is In walking distance. rooms are clean, diamond water is plentiful and the cookies are fresh and warm. 4-stars because of the bartender, Frank. That an interesting person. He asks for everyone's names and remembers them thought the entire experience. I bet if I came back in 2-weeks, he would remember my food order and drink. he is the highlight of the hotel. read more

This was mostly for a wedding I went to there. The three stars are for the hotel room which was nice and clean. However the shower was done all wrong you basically get soaked trying to turn the water on. However the wedding was just okay. The food was pretty bad especially the look of the prime rib and chicken fingers/fries were awful. The venue was a nice space and everything else was pretty nice. read more

Standard Doubletree business hotel accommodations, however I found this particular Doubletree to be very unfriendly to families. We stayed here along with our grandchildren and their parents for an overnight. The hotel had two weddings going on. I won't even hold the loud drunk noises in the hall that kept us up at night against them. But what I will fault them for is the lack of space, and unwillingness to make public space, for us to relax with our grandchildren. The wedding parties receptions were spilled out into the lobby and common areas. All we wanted was some seating to visit with and play with our young grandchildren (ages infant to 10), and maybe eat a pizza. We asked if there were any areas since the whole hotel was taken over by the weddings. We were told no. We went to use the pool, which is overly restrictive and complicated. You have to check and sign in with a person (never have I seem this in 30 years of travel). We were asked to take my ten year old granddaughter out of the hot tub (no kids allowed), even though we were the only ones in the pool area. Interestingly, when I complained to the front desk and asked they give us some latitude with the pool and hot tub, since we had nowhere to take the kids, they told us the pool is under separate management and not technically part of the hotel. This certainly isn't clear on the website. To add to the non family friendly nature, we were unable to get sheets for the sofa bed. We travel to Nashua every few months to visit our grandchildren, and usually stay at the Marriott Courtyard. We have never had similar issues there. The Courtyard has plenty of public space, and the pool is kid friendly. This Doubletree doesn't want family business, we'll be happy book our future trips back with Marriott read more

Room was very small for a suite and did not have the dining table they posted on line. Was told there would be room serv available but there was not. Restaurant menu was sparse. Rooms were not cleaned on a daily basis but were done every 4 days. Photos of outside misrepresented the actual site. Absolutely the worst double tree I've ever been to and probably bottom 5 of any hotel. I will reconsider even staying at a double tree next time I need somewhere to stay. For starters the lady I called to confirm if my suite had locking doors to the rooms(which they did not) was rude and unhelpful. Telling me some do and some don't and I won't know until they set it for me. Then when we got here the parking lot was pitch black and very sus because of all the strange men walking around. Come to find the my room was at the opposite end of the hotel which made me even more nervous about leaving my vehicle. The hotel room was non smoking but the whole hotel after getting out of the elevator onto my floor smelled of cigarettes. The hallways were truly scary with the dim lights and crowds of weird guys hanging out everywhere. The rooms have new TVs but that's where new ends. The rooms were really out of date for what I use to think was a premium hotel. And don't take me for some cheap person. I got a 2 bedroom suite. The workers were rude as well. The pool lady was trying to tell my kids not to splash in the pool. They're 8 and 5 and weren't even splashing. They were swimming which I guess was too much for her. The pool was "appointment only" whatever that means but either way we made an appointment and there were still 2 people there when our time came. I noticed they were there when we arrived at the hotel 40 minutes earlier. Once we got back to the room which was a walk for sure I noticed there were no waters in the fridge which I was told there would be. So I called the front desk and they told me I was suppose to get them at check in and if I wanted some I could come get them myself. I couldn't help but get a vibe they didn't do a very good cleaning job after seeing how the rest of the hotel looked and smelled. I will never come back to this hotel!! read more

Hotel seems nice, however it is very expensive for what you actually get. The rooms are no better than other, much cheaper, hotels. You are charged for breakfast and coffee, which some cheaper hotels do not charge for. They have a bar but it is only open from 5p to 10p, so most of the day you can't access that amenity. It is not a bad hotel, but you do not get very much for what you pay for. read more

This was most definitely the worst experience I have had at a hotel! We arrived at 2pm on Saturday October 9th...hoping for an earlier than 3pm check-in due to the fact that we needed to make a bus for a wedding at 3:45. When we arrived the front desk clerk was unprofessional and not helpful at all. Without checking with housekeeping we were told our room would not be ready until 3pm. At 3pm we approached the desk again and were told our room was still not ready. At 3:15 still not ready. At 3:30 still not ready. We were checked in to our room at 3:40 with no time to prepare for the wedding. Another unprofessiondl desk clerk told us our room was filthy and that' is why it took so long to clean. Really? Do you say that to a guest? I have been a front office manager for two hotel chains in the past...Hilton and Marriott and I would not put up with the likes of the front desk clerks at the Doubltree Nashua. Time for them to have an etiquette meeting with their employees!!! read more

We were here for a convention. The hotel itself has recently been fully renovated and the rooms are beautiful. The beds are very plush and comfortable. The shower in the bathroom is modern but was not well thought out. The glass doors only open on one side. And you have to step into the shower to turn it on and your shower starts with cold water. No way to start the shower without getting wet due to the design. At one of our banquet meals there were problems at the bar. They had no white wine and no water. The bartender was using a drink shaker without a cap. He used his hand as the cap. Very unsanitary. When brought to managements attention they did rectify the situation. In the morning when I tried to use the coffee machine in the lobby it was out of milk. I brought it to the front desk clerks attention and she did correct. However I discovered that all weekend when I was selecting no fat milk I was getting 2%. They decided to split the difference between whole milk and skim milk and only use 2%. This should be posted somewhere on the machine. Overall I find this hotel is missing what is required for an excellent customer service experience. read more

Very disappointing stay. We made our reservations with the local hotel itself and were assured there was handicapped parking at the entrance. Not so. The only handicapped parking is near the restaurant. Both of us are temporarily walking-disabled and the very long walk from car to door was difficult. We had bellhop service on arrival but none on leaving and were left to struggle with our luggage ourselves on the cart. We stayed over one night and left our room at 10 AM -- we returned at 2 PM to find no maid service yet. One would assume they'd prioritize making up the rooms of guests staying over. We had to call to request it and had them make up the room around us. Linen was NOT changed -- we learned later that that is only by special request. Room service was almost a necessity with our disabilities and the food adequate. Unlike other prestige hotels which, in our experience, bring the food in on a rolling table on which it is then served, Doubletree brought the food in on a tray and deposited it on the desk which made eating unwieldy and unpleasant and did not allow us to simply roll the cart to the hall after the meal. Meals became an expensive unpleasant event. Over all this was an unpleasant stay. We will not be back to a Doubletree, probably avoid the entire Hilton chain when possible, and certainly not recommend it to anyone. read more
