Guests are given a parking permit for the attached parking lot, and the on-site security makes the location feel really secure. Doors are locked after a certain evening hour, and can only be accessed by your room keycard, so make sure you have it on any trips out to your car! Beds are comfy, and the rooms were absolutely spotless (and I'm one to check the mattress lining). Staff here are friendly and helpful. We ended up extending our stay by a day to visit longer with friends and family, and they were more than accommodating to adjust our days. The location was the appeal for us here, as I did not want to mess around with parking on graduation day. From this location, it's about a three minute walk across the street to SNHU's stadium. The staff decorated the lobby for SNHU's graduates and provided goodies for guests like university-branded keychains, and things of that nature. On the office desk, there's some sticky residue on the sides and it's sticky all over. As soon as we walked in, it smelled like someone had just cooked their meal. Dishes weren't put away, which is whatever. The tv is in the middle of the room and very small so if you're watching TV in bed it will be a little hard. The view isn't terrible, but we didn't come here for that so it's no big deal. I want to give it a higher rating but from the smell to the sticky unidentifiable stuff on the desk it's definitely not what I expected with Hilton hotels. I know every hotel is different but only ever staying in multiple different ones (Hampton inn, double tree, etc) I was hoping for better upkeep. Would I stay here again? Maybe because it's by Hilton. Instead, we were repeatedly told the rooms were being cleaned, only to later find out that wasn't actually the case and that there were staffing issues. My maid of honor and junior bridesmaid were never given their bouquets and had to walk down the aisle without them. My dogs were also supposed to be brought to the side after the ceremony so I could take pictures with them. This was communicated multiple times beforehand and directly to the wedding coordinator that day. It never happened. My dog sitter was apparently told she could leave, and I completely missed out on photographs with my dogs that were extremely important to me. When I complained, the general manager tried to blame my dog sitter and claimed I never communicated the request. Completely unacceptable. The wedding coordinator was another major disappointment. Guests weren't properly informed when dessert was available, I wasn't kept informed about our bar tab, and I found myself dealing with details that I paid the venue to handle. What is almost worse than everything that happened is how management handled my complaints afterward. Instead of taking accountability, I received excuses and finger-pointing. It felt like the priority was defending their employees rather than acknowledging what happened to the customer who paid for the wedding. Things can go wrong at a wedding. That's life. But when multiple things go wrong and the response afterward is to deny, deflect, and blame someone else, that's a serious problem. I should have been enjoying one of the most important days of my life. Instead, I was stressed, running around, and dealing with problems that should never have been mine to handle. For the amount of money we spent, I expected far more professionalism, communication, and accountability.
