How cool is that? We would love to see a game here and party in the room. Below us was a deck to take out food and drinks and watch the game. Now upstairs, our room was nice with blackout curtains which we like. The bathroom was good size. Everything was clean. We did tell the front desk person that the bottle of shampoo was nearly empty. During our down time we played cards at a large round table in the back room off the deck. We saw a good sized conference room with a large screen and plug-ins at the tables. Would recommend it. We had two good breakfasts in the dining area. As Hilton Honor guests we used our $20 credit for candy bars. There was a large selection of snacks to choose from, and bottled drinks. We even watched a football game in the lobby with other guests. This hotel has a large parking lot, and is in a good location. There is a shuttle for getting around.

Always a smile and good morning from people at the front desk. I needed an ice pack to be frozen every night they put it in their freezer no questions asked. If there aren't any games or if you want to save a few bucks get a room with city view instead of the ballfield. You can go out on their patio and eat and drink and watch the game from the comfort of your hotel. I've stayed here several times and I would take this hotel over the doubletree downtown in a heartbeat. Only good thing about doubletree is you can walk to pretty much anything downtown. Your choice.

It was fairly clean though so im not complaining about that. During our 3 day stay we had to get new cards twice. And no, they werent near any phones. They just wouldn't work. The bathroom on the other hand. First the bathroom door wouldn't close at all. There was 4 of us in this room. 2nd the shower was extremely hard to turn on and it was a handicap room so you'd think it would have been easier. The shower wasn't very accessible either as it was a bathtub. The shower head also had mold growing on it. The breakfast was your average breakfast at a hotel. Carton scrambled eggs, corn beef hash (which I have never seen at a hotel breakfast.) It was undercooked though. Bagels, fresh waffles, cereal, yogurt, muffins, and fruit. So nothing extravagant. Overall id give it 2 stars mainly for the mold, door not closing, and inaccesibility!

This morning trying to make coffee in the rooms coffee maker I discovered it was broken. Getting in the shower I discovered some kind of mold around the door of the shower as well as around the hand railing inside the shower. I checked out at 730am and no staff at desk to report my concerns. I called later from the car, was told by the front desk " thanks for sharing your Concerns" and she hung up. I will never stay there again. DO NOT recommend this hotel.

We were so mortified by that night there we had to get out and find another place. So my brother booked 2 rooms at this Holiday Inn Express and Suites. Like NIGHT. AND. DAY!!! This place was fantastic. Super clean, rooms super clean....kind of on the small side, but the beds take up most of the room lol The beds were so comfortable. Sheets were great. There is a small refrigerator in the room, tv, etc. You know, the basics. It's a very nice place....especially after coming from that dump we were in the night before. What an absolute nightmare. The front desk lady was above and beyond nice. Super accommodating. We told her about the other place and she was just so nice to us. The other place the staff was little spawns of satan lol. On the front desk counter, here at the Holiday Inn they have fresh chocolate chip cookies for their guests. They are SO good! Continental breakfast was great as well and the breakfast area was super nice, clean, spacious. This is a nice place to stay...all the way around. You can't go wrong. It's also right across from a grocery store..super convenient. There are a few gas stations right outside, Mcdonalds, Burger King...all within walking distance. So if you are in the area and need a nice place to stay...book a room here. You won't be disappointed. OH! and of course, duh! How could I forget...they allow pets! Thats massive for me! Thanks for reading, YelperHoildayers! Cheers!
