Nice, clean and neat hotel, but with thin wall and pet friendly, so you can hear the dog barking from another room, and you can hear the walks upstair

We've been bumping along the New England coast, visiting state capitals and staying at Hilton properties. I wasn't familiar with Tru previously but was quickly impressed with the service and feel of the location. It just simply has a vibrancy that other hotels lack. I also loved the hand wash flavor, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Really impressed by the branding overall. Breakfast was a treat! The beds were great. The pillows could use an upgrade but based on everything else, they are easy to forgive. The only other thing- I'm our room the shower door slammed and was quite loud. I'd pick Tru on purpose in the future based on my stay.

Nice hotel that was ready to access. I had read previous reviews about the "shared" parking lot with the restaurant next door but didn't pay too much attention to it. When we checked in at 3pm there were plenty of parking spots and they were all labeled for hotel guests. We left and returned around 830pm and the whole lot was pretty full. At first all we could get was a spot by the restaurant but not feeling comfortable about it we pulled out and went around the other side. Luckily someone left and we took the last hotel parking spot. Pretty sure some of those spots were taken by some folks going to the restaurant and not staying at the hotel. They need to come up with some better solution. Lobby was set up efficiently and welcoming. Liked that they had a lit of area dedicated to guests just lounging around. Rooms were large, neat, clean and set up well.

Stayed at the tru Hilton in concord NH and I have to say the stay was amazing the staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating especially Christina at the front desk . I will definitely stay here again . Highly recommended. And the breakfast is very good too especially that's it's complementary.

My aunt and I stayed here for one night while we were in town for a funeral. Check in process was a bit disjointed due to a minor miscommunication but after that everything was smooth sailing (I booked the hotel under my name with my Hilton honors app but my aunt paid for it, so when I went to check in while my aunt was in the car, the girl at the front wouldn't allow me to check in for both of us, she needed to have my aunt present, which I've never encountered before when booking rooms with my boyfriend's card. In retrospect, I should have just done virtual check in with my phone, something to remember for the future). Other than that, we had a great stay. Our room was super clean, smelled nice, and had plenty of room for my handicapped aunt to get around with her walker safely (we stayed in a handicapped accessible room). The flooring is laminate instead of carpet, which makes it easier for her to get around, so it was appreciated (though, it did contribute to a sort of minor echo issue, and made it easier to hear people in neighboring rooms, maybe because they put us in an adjoining room?). The beds were firm and comfortable, pillow and blankets fresh and clean, and the bathroom was immaculately clean. The real stand out though is the free breakfast from 6-9am. We happened to be up at 6, so we went down to breakfast and were amazed by the offerings; cheddar mini omelets, sausage links, hard boiled eggs, muffins, bagels, English muffins, cereal, oatmeal with all the fixings, and a make your own pancake station where you wave your hand in front of a machine and it makes your pancakes for you while you watch! They were the best, softest, fluffiest pancakes, and there were a ton of options for toppings (syrup, caramel, whipped cream, chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, walnuts, m&ms, etc). They also had juice, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Matthew, who was working the front desk, was such a wonderful help in navigating the breakfast line; super nice, helpful, and friendly. We loved staying here and absolutely would stay here (or any other TruHilton) again. Keep up the good work!

Continuing to Cayla the day front desk, who is somewhat better and works hard but does not have experience knowledge or support from her seniors. Carrie/Kerry and her GM Michelle are simply lacking the professionalism and respect to even begin to understand the very nature of 4* customer svc let alone the very basics of customer satisfaction. They are borderline discriminatory and at the outset rude, interrupt customers for the most basic requests, repeatedly making excuses, and simply cannot support the level of svc this property should have. We stayed three times to be sure it was consistently bad, under two different booking names. The allure of the high quality restaurant/bar and covered barking let us coming back. But it won't again. We have had enough of the AI robot voice calling us "sugar" and "honey" and offering us walking directions to a "good cup of hot chocolate" instead of just telling us the breakfast hours - which by the way is cooked by a robotic (I'm not joking, com's see for yourself) automated egg cooking machine - which does a decent job! - when it works and doesn't include broken shells. The express machine is good. The evening repackaged Market Basket linzer and black/white cookies are avg. But when you ask three times and make four phone calls just to get a simple work surface desk so you can do emails at night and keep up with work obligations - only to be told that "govt rate rooms only get certain rooms" after being promised a desk - enough is enough. We paid $600, and spent another $500 in the restaurant one week, but apparently they had more important customers. And we were dumb enough to come back the next week thinking it must have been a a busy week. But nope, they just don't care, doesn't matter - they were 40% booked according to the front desk lady - and you get what you get, no desk or king bed available - even though the website showed they were. Sorry folks - this property must have a secret code word - I hope AAA knows they wasted a rating here. Much better properties in NH that better represent our NH hospitality industry. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE.

This Hampton Inn was less than 10 minutes away, so it's a great place to consider if you need a place to stay before your exam. I cannot remember his name, but the gentleman at the front desk who checked us in was so incredibly kind and considerate. He was more than willing to go above and beyond to make the stay perfect. The rooms were clean, the hallways were quiet, there was ample parking, and the hot breakfast the next morning was fantastic. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

What a disappointment! For years, this had been our go-to hotel when we're in Concord, NH. My…read morehusband and I loved the big smiles when we arrived, and how the desk staff often remembered us from previous visits. The hotel felt like a second home, in a way. This time, the staff seemed very different. No smiles. No "we're glad you're here." And only one of the two women at the desk seemed even vaguely familiar... though I'm still not sure of that. However, we were tired from a day on the road and were eager to get sleep. On this visit, we didn't have a reservation, and - checking in at the desk, planning to stay for two nights - we were told that they had just one room left... and the price seemed very high. Exhausted after our long journey, we still trusted that this was a fair price for a very good room. (Neither were true, and - when I later checked the booking service we usually use - this hotel still had five rooms available... and we'd been charged the public price, not our Hilton Honors member price.) But, that wasn't the only problem. When we arrived at our room, both beds were wrinkled, as if someone had been sitting on them, or had placed luggage on them and then - changing their minds about the room - they'd left. Also, the room was dirty. Not awful, but housekeeping should have seen the brown, sticky marks (like small fingerprints) on the bathroom door, as well as the empty vodka beverage can next to one bed's headboard. In addition, there were just a few sheets of toilet paper left on the roll in the bathroom... and no extra rolls. (And, as a somewhat trivial side note: Upon arriving in our room the TV screen did not welcome my husband by name. In fact, the TV wasn't on. And when we turned it on, the usual greeting screen still wasn't there.) But, as I've said, we were exhausted. So, we unpacked because the next day was going to be a busy workday for me, and we needed sleep. The next morning, I explained all of this - the incorrect information at check-in, the toilet paper issues, etc. - to the young woman at the desk - the one with long brown hair, who rarely smiles at all - and, with no apology, said she'd tell her manager. She also gave me two rolls of toilet paper. Later in the day, we received a call in our room. The hotel was returning $52 dollars to us, giving us extra Hilton points, and offered to move us to one of the empty rooms. We thanked the caller but declined the move, mostly because I was busy working (I'm a journalist) and we'd already unpacked our suitcases and set up my work area. That was a poor decision on my part. That night, the air conditioning unit under our window - different from most of the hotel, that has central a/c - started rattling loudly at around 2 AM, keeping us awake. We were glad it was our last night there. Aside from the great breakfasts, none of this experience had matched our previous visits'. At checkout, the same unsmiling woman was at the front desk. I told her how very sorry I was to have to write an honest review, since our experience - and our room - hadn't been up to the hotel's usual standards. She interrupted me, saying sarcastically, ""Oh, you mean the room we gave you $52 and 3,000 bonus points for, and offered to move you to another room?" Stunned, I agreed as she shoved our room receipt at me, said she'd tell her manager what I'd said... and then she turned away from me. This was such a stunning response, I'm still astonished. There were so many other ways she could have replied, such as, "I'm sorry, and we'll make changes so your next visit is better." Or, "We were unusually busy, and I guess things slipped through the cracks that shouldn't have. We'll make sure that doesn't repeat, and appreciate your business." Instead, we left feeling disappointed but also frustrated, because this used to be such a great hotel. As we drove away, my husband and I agreed - sadly - that we'll never go back to that hotel again. In our opinion, that Hilton franchise hasn't maintained the Hilton standards. Fortunately, and we have other hotel options when we next return to the Concord area.

Luckily, we did notice it when we pulled into the parking lot and it wasn't obscured by the greenery from the road. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the parking lot. We had a very comfortable king size bed with a kidney shaped sofa and ottoman, desk, and a very basic bathroom. While it was clear that the bathroom needed work, I appreciated the fact that the sink and vanity were separate from the toilet and tub. It made getting ready easier! We appreciated the bar area, and had a very friendly bartender who went by Azrael (I think??? Not sure we ever got her name?). She was witty and had us laughing while pouring our drinks. The next morning we ate breakfast at the Starbucks cafe. It was decent. I am very picky about my food. I ordered scrambled eggs with avocado, quinoa, spinach, and parmesan cheese. My husband ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, and homefries. The portion sizes were very small for what we paid. This hotel suited its purpose for our stay. We were here for one overnight to attend a wake and funeral. It is situated inside of an industrial area near the highway, and sadly, there are many homeless people living nearby in the woods that abuts the property. They are in the process of renovating this property, so perhaps with a little dazzle it can morph into a five star rating.
