I say, Although it was but a brief layover before continuing further onward, I would gladly pay double to stay elsewhere. The rooms are cramped, walls are paper thin, and worst of all DIRTY. Upon checking in I found my sheets were covered in hair. The same can be said of the pillow cases and shower curtain. It was clear that nothing in this room had ever been cleaned. Upon showering the smell emanating from the shower curtain grew. It stank of cigarettes and curry; a putrid combo. The room also faintly smelled of cigarettes from other patrons smoking on the balcony all night. Needless to say, I will never return. Poor form, not very sporting. TL;DR Noisy, Stinky, Dirty. Absolutely Disgusting and Unacceptable Stay This was one of the most disgusting hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. The condition of the room was shocking and completely unacceptable for paying guests. The mattresses were flat, misshapen, and heavily stained with deep yellow discoloration that looked unsanitary and unsafe to sleep on. To make matters worse, the mattresses were actually smaller than the cheap metal cot-style bed frames they sat on. Because of this, you could clearly see the dirt, debris, and built-up filth accumulated around the mattress and frame -- something no guest should ever have to see. The room itself was bare and uncomfortable, with no lamps, no end tables, and no decor -- just a plain white room under harsh fluorescent lighting that made the space feel more like a prison cell than a hotel. The bathroom was equally disturbing, with stained tile that appeared poorly cleaned and neglected. There were also cigarette burns on the TV stand, reinforcing the overall impression that maintenance and cleanliness are not a priority here. This place is horrific. Filthy. Dicy clientele .... Except for my daughter and I who are up here visiting a college. Smells. No hot water in the sink. Bed spreads have burns. Just look at the pictures.... Anyone who has ever left a positive review of this place is either related to the owner or out of their mind. This is the second room we were assigned. The first only had one bed..... I went down to bring the key and my daughter stayed in the room. She went to slide the dead bolt over..... it was pulled out of the wall. We don't feel safe! I wish I could leave a review without leaving a rating. We were not surprised by anything we experienced, but also compelled to report our findings so folks in the future can make a more informed decision than we did when looking for the cheapest hotel or motel in the area. When we went to the office to check in (which I had difficulty finding as there was no sign indicating where the office was, though my partner tells me it was obviously under the big "6" sign) it was empty, and one of the light up "Motel 6" signs facing out on the counter was flickering on and off. This was the first sign we were in a B horror movie. An employee came out to tell us to meet them in the room next to the office, not the office, so we went next door to the laundry and vending machine room (both the washer and dryer had notices that they were out of order). In front of us, speaking to the employee behind security glass, was a traveling nurse. She explained to the completely burnt out staff person that she was upset that the mold she found in her room and reported to the staff that morning was still there. She was told that they could not clean the room, because she was currently occupying it. That didn't make sense to her, because she reported it that morning and packed up all her stuff and left the room for the day, giving them opportunity to clean it. But they couldn't clean it, because she was technically occupying it. She had found a different place to stay so she declined the offer to switch rooms, but was not refunded her stay for that upcoming night because it was past 11 am and they could not refund her. This is apparently an inflexible policy, mold being no exception. She could not speak to a manager because there wasn't one. I am eagerly checking review sites for more details of her experience. We checked in with no issue and found our room easily. The motel did not appear full, so it was with a little disappointment we found he put us in the room closest to the highway. Between the traffic din and the garbage truck emptying a dumpster at 5 am both mornings, we slept a total of 6 hours in 36. We briefly considered trying to switch rooms, but we decided we didn't want to play "mold roulette" especially as there was no manager available. Our room was as clean as we expected it would be. The floor, luckily, was not carpeted but had a strange slippery grime all over it that turned the bottoms of my feet, then my socks, black. I've not taken off my shoes again since we checked in except when getting into bed. The modern minimalist decor unfortunately did not include any surface for us to store our luggage in or on, so we will be double washing all items now stacked on the floor when we get home. The bathroom had some curious stains and my partner and I have been discussing whether it was a splash of blood or vomit on the wall that seems to be bleeding through the relatively fresh paint. I'm convinced the brown spots behind the toilet on the floor are poo poo, but their location almost directly behind the toilet does raise questions about how it got there. The bathroom door also has a large dent it in that could be a result of a) furniture being moved around or b) a strong kick to the door - maybe this has something to do with the stains and poo poo? Above the sink, stuck to the wall, are a smattering of dead fruit flies. This has been another exciting mystery - what is attracting the fruit flies, what is killing them, and how are they sticking to the wall above the sink? The curtain across the window is small enough, and broken on either end, so that it doesn't completely cover the window, which allowed us to see if anyone was walking by all night. The door has a similar half inch gap around the frame so the room was brightly lit by the porch lights. Happily, I've been nicotine free for three years but unhappily, my partner is still in the process of quitting smoking. This was unfortunate as our room smells like the bottom of a butt can that has been sitting out in the rain for a week. I'm not sure if this has acted as a trigger for him, or a deterrent from ever smoking a cigarette again. I woke up the first morning with a swollen throat and a rattle in my lungs - don't know if I inhaled fruit flies or if I unintentionally become a smoker again. The bed was comfortable, and the mattress did not have any bed bugs. I found a few hairs on the sheets but it could have been mine or my partners - I'm sure our immune systems started breaking down as soon as we crossed the threshold. So we wouldn't stay here again but hey, it was $116/night and we didn't have a lot of options, price wise. If you find yourself in a similar position, bring some bleach wipes, extra socks or slippers to wear in your room, ear plugs and eye masks, and whatever combo of drugs you need to sleep through the night. read more

I'm currently staying here and holy crap. I'm really not a picky person when it comes to lodging, I don't need all the bells and whistles. But this place is a total dump and that's honestly probably being generous and kind. The room literally looks like a prison cell. No art on the walls, fake wood floor, a little desk in the corner and a tv on a stand that doubles as a place to hang your clothes. There's a hole punched in the plaster next to the door, there's no smoke detector in the room, and the tub is tiny. I would honestly ditch this place and book somewhere else ASAP but because I booked through a third party app I can't get refunded so I'm going to tough it out for the next few nights. No trash can in the room, there was a paper cup on the counter with old coffee and a cigarette butt in it. No washcloth available for shower. No shampoo, soap, or conditioner- make sure you bring shower toiletries if you stay here. The curtains were halfway ripped off of the rod. For over $80/night I expect more... atleast some pilowcases and cheap shampoo. Will not stay here again, and will not recommend. Most likely the worst hotel we stayed at. One chair in room with no desk or anyplace to store your clothes They started to do work in our room but stopped. Stains all over sink (which backed up) and floor was dirty. The stink of cigarette smoke was so strong unless you also smoked you are not going to like it. Two little small pillows and they didn't have anymore. No shampoo in bathroom and when we asked they don't supply it. The pool was not in operation , there was no coffee, the bedsheets were stained and the bed mattress was so lumpy that is was impossible to sleep in the bed. It seems to be in a bad part of town with lots of activity all through the night. Lots of noise and during the night the window was broken in the unit next door. I know this is luck of the draw but with everything else going on it wasn't a surprise. Someone tried our door shortly thereafter to see if it was open. There are signs in the room saying if you don't secure the door lock , management wasn't responsible Didn't really feel safe during our stay and the attendant was safely secured behind plexiglass and wasn't coming out. Stayed here 6/22 and 6/23. The young man who checked us in was very unprofessional. This place is a B Y.OB as in being your own bedding. I was refused an extra pillow and towel and was told of I wanted these things I should go to the Wal-Mart down the street. When I awoke the next morning I found bed bugs under the fitted sheet and on the single towel that was in the room. When I brought this the attention of the staff I was told this was a stink bug. There is actual visible smoke in the air, it must be coming in the vents. There are drugs everywhere. Strange sketchy seeming people walking around the parking lot at all hours of the night. I suspect prostitution. Drunks falling all over the place. I stayed for 4 nights. The housekeeping came once. I've had to use the same towels the whole time. Staff can't be bothered to help customers. TVs loud and blaring in other rooms. The wifi is crap. My card key has never worked. The bed is clearly old and uncomfortable. Just don't stay here. It's an all out dump. I'll be leaving soon enough. It's a local hangout infested with drugs and addicts. You can smell the mold in the walls. No pool as advertised either. The doors and walls are cracked up. Unrealistic. No air-conditioning is working in half the rooms. They are in no hurry to fix it either. On street level rooms after a mild rain water creeps in through the bottom of the door. I was told that because I am considered long stay that they don't clean the room or change the sheets, clean towels ect.... unless someone is here. Unfortunately my company sent me to this hotel for 2+ weeks, in my first week everything was fine, besides the pure nastiness of any room here. The second week came with bed bugs, condoms in "clean" beds and the lock not working on the entry door. I wouldn't want my dog to stay here, much less any other human. I'm currently in my 4th room in 2 weeks and have begged my company to switch my hotels, which they refuse due to how cheap it is here. I do feel somewhat protected due to constant police presence because of all the prostitutes and drugs here. So not only did she give away my room but failed to look in it to see if it was clean and ready to go. She was very rude and was nasty with no apology about the whole situation at all. Was having a really tough day and needed a place to stay close by where I live close Motel 6 cuz it's literally 1500 yard away from where I live. Checked in great very friendly however go to the room look like there was blood above and on the bathroom door. All night long I had to listen to whoever was above and next to me thumping and banging got absolutely no sleep. I went there because I needed to be away for a night to rest. I paid my money but was kept awake all night feel like I was in contaminated room. If I could give this place less than one star I would. First room|: burnt out light bulbs, and dirty sheets. Went to office, more than a little peeved after a six hour drive, and attendant VERY rude. While in the office, a school bus driver was dropping children off at different rooms in the motel. This place may be a welfare hotel. Quite a few people just loafing around. Changed rooms. Sheets appeared clean, but not FRESH. So I got some blankets out of my car, stripped the bed down and slept in my car blankets. Fans and AC very noisy. Cable TV is a joke, 6 stations. Worst experience I've ever had at a motel by far I know it's motel6 but common courtesy and a certain level of professionalism is expected. Room service was unbelievably loud when cleaning the room above me and they were in that room for more than 3 hours seemed like they were just dragging the bed across the floor back and forth repeatedly and I imagine that it was intentional because I can't think of any logical reason why it was that loud and it took that long. The place is a circus ran by morons it doesn't seem like they had any clue on how to run a business their employees walk around the property being annoyingly loud laughing and joking just being unprofessional . I made my reservations from booking.com. We weren't arriving in the area until the later evening. I set our arrival time between 9-10 pm on 12/25. I sent an Email for a special request on our check out time for the following day. Upon doing so I was told I would receive an email back. I never received any confirmation. Upon arriving the staff was very nice (the gentleman who works the night shift) at that time I mentioned the request for the later check out time. He told me to call the office in the morning to discuss it with the day staff but he was sure it wouldn't be an issue. I called the next morning . A women answered & was extremely rude to me about the request. And referred me to her manager who would arrive at 12 that day. I called at 12 my request for a later check out was met with a "you can stay until 1 pm" at that point after sending an email prior to my reservation & talking to 3! People I settled & left at 1. After leaving the hotel we realized our daughter left her watch in the room. I called to talk to the front desk only to get Miss snotty once again. He response was that she would ask the staff & get back to me tomorrow?? Ummm NO we traveled from out of state & we were leaving she took my information read it back to me & said she would call back. Hours passed without a call back. I then called again to get the nice gentleman from the night before. He personally went to the room & searched high & low for my daughter's watch which he didn't find because the house keeper STOLE IT! That was the first & LAST time we stay there in Nashua. We usually room at a "nicer" location but wanted something closer to our families house. NEVER AGAIN. The hallways stunk of weed & BO! Get it together! What a horrible experience! read more

I booked 5 rooms with this hotel through Expedia. WORST decision i've made. The reservation was for 2 nights. The first night one of our team members checked into her room and noticed a stain on the bed. She went down to the front desk and asked if they could send housekeeping to change the bedding. The man running the front desk told her "no, I will just move you to a different room that's easier for me" Mind you this man was asleep at the front desk when we arrived. After that incident everyone went to bed and left for the race track the next morning for work. They returned to the hotel around 10pm the 2nd and last night they were supposed to stay there. The same room that we were moved to the night before now had another guest in it and we were told that when they switched the rooms the prior night they cancelled our 2nd night of our reservation. (They removed our personal belongings from the room) I asked for them to find another room because I have a reservation for 2 nights. The girl running the front desk said she only seen one night. I told her I have my reservation right here it shows 2 nights. She apologized and informed me that she is the housekeeper and that the front desk person didn't show up today and she is just filling in. I explained to her that I didn't care about that and I just need a room. She proceeded to tell me that they were sold out and could not help me. I asked for a manger and she informed me there was not a manager there but she could call her. The manager told the housekeeper, that she was not coming in and there was nothing that she was willing to do to help accommodate us. After arguing with them for almost 30 minutes I had to find another hotel room. I had to leave the hotel and drive 30 minutes away to another hotel that I then had to pay $206 for the night. The hotels in my vicinity were all sold out due to the NASCAR race that was in town this weekend. This was very inconvenient for me because I had 8 other people at the original hotel and now I had one person at another hotel 30 minutes away. Having to be somewhere at 7am in the morning the next day meant we all had to leave an extra 30 minutes early to be at the 2nd hotel for one person! If I could rate them with less then 1 star I would. Absolutely the most unprofessional hotel I have ever been to. If I were you I would steer far away from this place. I would sleep in my car before I ever had to deal with this place again. We've never had this problem with a Motel 6 before but because of this I will NEVER stay at a motel 6 again. read more

I will never stay in Motel 6 with my child again. You're going to want to read this story before choosing a different motel chain. The story involves dirty sheets, pubic hairs, bugs, cigarette burn holes deceptively hidden, and fumes very likely detrimental to human health. I rarely complain about things; people make mistakes. In most cases, a little patience and understanding go a long way. BUT, with a motel, I draw the line at cleanliness and air quality. I wrote a letter to the corporate offices at Motel 6 after my stay over a month ago. I never heard back. All I was really hoping for was simple apology and a refund of my money although I did not actually ask for a refund. What I got instead was silence. Since the corporate office in Texas feels no need to even respond to me, Here is the body of that letter. "To Whom it May Concern: 4 July 2017 Our room was in a separate building by the pool on the second floor. It had an inside hallway, so we went in the exterior door and up the stairs. Coming into the hallway, we were confronted with a wall of smoke odor, extremely strong and unpleasant, stale, and wet. We went into theroom which seemed better at first, but shortly realized the smell was just moderately less severe than it was in the hallway. My 9 year old daughter was running in her first road race the next morning. As we walked back down the hall to get more things, she was holding her breath as it was making her cough. We came back to the room, and I realized for her sake, for both of ours really, I had to request another room in the main building. These were no smoking rooms and this was a no smoking floor, but it was clear that was not really the case or hadn't been for long. The woman at the counter was a different one when we went back and was apologetic and moved us to a new room in the main building. For the record, her service was always good. The new room was better. The smell really lingered in my nose from the hallway, but this had fresher, cleaner air. I immediately picked up a black beetle of some sort curled up in the entryway and quickly tossed it in the trash before my daughter saw it. I looked in the shower and around the bathroom, under the beds and around the corners. The room seemed to pass the test...other than that bug. We brought our things in, got changed and went to the outdoor pool over by the highway and nestled just under the huge Motel 6 road sign. The cars looked like they were riding right on the shrubs next to the pool as they drove along the elevated roads. I won't complain about the pool though; it is what it is. It had enough chlorine. We had fun swimming. Good enough. We went back to the room, changed, and got ready to watch TV after going out for dinner. My daughter looked at her sheets after I had pulled down the comforter and asked me what the black specks were. I was quite relieved to see what appeared to be just a lot of small, black lint pieces. As I looked though I began to see all the hair on the sheets. Most were longer black hairs but then yes, of course there were the short curly kind as well. I had just about had it. I went to the office again. I kept cool and polite considering, but the office staff had been kind and this was not really their fault. I asked for two new sets of sheets and said I would put them on the beds myself. After doing so and a thorough inspection of the new sheets, I was satisfied they were clean and not covered in lint and hair of all kind. I let my daughter use the bed with her own pillow and blanket I was happy we brought. I took my chances with the bedding. I have a strong immune system. My daughter loves motels and hotels and this was a really fun time for her. She's 9 and takes her lead from me. If I'm upset, she's upset. She's not going to notice hairs, and bugs, and the three burn holes in the blanket on her bed that were on a side conveniently folded and tucked in underneath so as not to be seen. I saw this when changing the bedding, so just left it on the floor with everything else but the new bed sheet. The vending and ice machines are always her favorite spot at the motel. She wanted Mike & Ike's so I put in two dollars for the $1.25 candy. We both just laughed when I pulled out the single quarter it had given me for change, fifty cents short. She's got a good sense of humor for 9 and was starting to see the "piling on" that was happening at this place. Her laugh and smile kept me from feeling the real disappointment and quite frankly anger I could have easily been expressing. Considering the absolutely horrible smoke smell, random hairs in the bed, bug (granted only one!), and having to change my own linens, I can say there is no way I will ever stay in a motel 6 with my daughter again. Because of how slow it is. It is running SLOWER than dial up. Not an exaggeration. Do NOT ask for it, you are better off using your cell to go anywhere on the internet. When I got to the room, the toilet was gross, and plugged. But good news, they left a plunger for me to unclog it. I went to the office to complain about it, they didnt care. I mean, they didnt care. When I asked about the internet, they just said, "Yeah, thats how it is". This place is a dump. Pay 20 bucks more and stay at a better place. OR just stay at the YMCA. read more

My husband and I had a terrible experience at this Motel 6 which culminated with discovering the manager lied to us. When I brought this to his attention he asked us to leave the property. Discovered a second Motel 6 in Nashua which was enormously better quality at the same price and the staff treated us like honored guests.
