Cleanest, nicest Motel 6 room I've ever encountered. Nice vinyl seat/table with chair nook is perfect for dinner with two adults! Pretty sink, tidy shower, very comfortable bed. Girl at front desk, who is part of management name is Elizabeth, harrased, disrespected, and humiliated me the day of my check out. She first call my room telling me check out was in an hr. Then she comes and knocks at my door loudly. proceeds to open even after I screamed from the shower I was coming, sstart yelling at me while I was half naked that my time was almost up and I had to check out. She leaves and upon check out, after expressing my dissatisfaction and requesting to speak to her boss, denies me both the ability to sign my check out and the phone number to file a complaint. she said if I wanted then I could Look it up on my phone, but I had to leave or else she would calm the police. on top she withholds my refund, for no reason . This is unacceptable, and this is stealing and false advertisement. I will not allow this humiliation and discrimination go unseen, I filed a companint with Motel 6 and disputed the charge and you guys charged again. If management allows their managers to provide this customer service, they form part of exacerbathing both harassment and discrimination, as theft as well. read more

I booked Friday-Sunday check in was okay , I asked for a downstairs she said there was none , hard to believe. We were given an upstairs, it was myself and my 2 children, upon entering it looked decent , until bed time, the sheets had black marks , the shower had hair from whomever, you had to wear shoes once out the shower or else your feet turned black from the floor. Disgusting, I own my own cleaning business and by far does anyone take their time to clean these rooms, food on the ceilings, cigarette holes in the blankets, the blankets I'm sure dont get washed , food on them, tape, yet what can I expect from a motel 6 , last min travel plans , when I went to check out Sunday the lady in the front was not so pleasant , gave me the rudest stare , then went to check my room , she took awhile, comes back and tells me I'm sorry there is marker on a TOWEL! Excuse me?! Marker?! I have no markers nor my children. I then said hot Cheetos , mind you they have no tissues , nothing but cheap towels, she said no, processed to show me a picture of the towel, ooh okay fruity pebbles cereal, my kids ate and cleaned up, she said no umm excuse me, she said it won't come out we tried! lol okay you ran it through the washer that fast? I was very unpleased with the experience here in the morning they end up keeping my deposit due to two towels, which is one that I used to drive myself and my hair and I do have red hair and the other one was to clean my feet because the floor was filthy dirty. So the manager tells me oh no, you brought the dirt in. We always clean and mop our floors to perfection which is the lie. We've all stayed at hotels before our motels and some of them are grimy and some of them are nice the manager keep my deposit due to the towels, being dirty and there was a little small stain on the bed sheet that was not done by me. The funny thing about it is that the towels that they have inside the bathrooms look dingy and yellow, but you're complaining to me about one towel being dirty, looking black white because your floor was dirty, I will keep complaining about these ghetto motels, trying to charge customers for a little petty shit read more

So I don't get on here often I only do it when I've had such horrible customer service experiences like I've had here I still can't wrap my head around how the owners are still in business the lady I dealt with was rude no customers service at all I had driven 3 hrs with my brother and our two dogs so when I go in to check in I'm wait for them to deal with the other people fist and when I finally do get helped it was by who I'm assuming is the owner wife or something because when I ask her to speak to a manger right after she cancel my reservation for what reason I'm still wondering she says sorry no and then hours to leave and I ask the other worker who she was she told me she didn't know her title so if that's the cases how can she just take over like that.she then tells me she just signs my check so if she is in chat she need to be checked by somebody or their business will never succeed anyway I love motel six but this one is a never stay at again read more

Room 125 Check-in June 9,2016 Check-out June 11,2016 I made a reservation on line a week before. I decided to change my reservation at 4 pm the same day and they had no problem accommodating me. I had a late check in 12:45 AM and they got me my room quickly when I finally arrived. When I walked into the room I was happily surprised the room was so clean. The towels are clean the bed and pillows are comfortable and soft. I even decided to add an extra night to my stay. This is where it all goes south. I had noticed something on the floor by the trash it was late and thinking it was a leaf or something I just went to bed. The next morning in the light I look at the "leaf" and it's a huge huge COCKROACH. I was a sick to my stomach. I had to get out of there. ASAP. When the girl at the front desk asked me why I was going to check out early I told her I found a roach in my room and showed here a picture. Here exact words were "YOU ONLY FOUND ONE?" My OMG I just about died. The girl at the front office tolled the manager what had happened. Manager could not be bothered to come out and talk to me. Good morning. This place is newly remodeled. It is clean and spacious. The price is fair. My motorcycle broke down on a road trip and I needed a place to stay. This was what I was looking for. The room does not have a closet and that was a disappointment. There was really no place to put luggage or clothes. The room was quiet and the heater worked fantastically without being loud. Melissa was on duty last night and she is very helpful. The only real downside is there is not a large selection of food choices nearby. It is all fast food. I am glad I choose the place over the other local choices. read more

Don't stay here Mike Rotel the owner supposedly refused service and cancelled my reservation. Because he felt disrespected when I told him the Internet made a mistake. I booked online and put on hold 2 queen beds with 2 adults and a child. He lost the owner $110 beacuse of $10 dollars. He is a liar saying we caused a seen. That's what he told Corp. My advice... go to another discount lodging. Rude and incompetent owner, and dead bugs on the bed. I've never actually stayed at motels since my wife is a little finicky about hotel cleanliness. And we saw all the reviews online about this one, negative and positive, and decided to go for it since it was only one night, and we would only be there literally for about 4 hours. When we got there, the nice girl at the front desk checked me in and it was pretty quick considering booked on bookings.com and credit card was already in the system. I checked out the room first to drop off the luggage and went to grab the family in the car. As we walked up to the room, along with the family dog, this greasy guy stops us at the top of the stairs and ask if I can step into the office...? I told the wife and kids to go ahead into the room and I headed back down the stairs. My first thought as I descended was "who the hell is this dude asking me to step into the office after I've checked in at 1am!?!?" It turns out he was the owner of this dump. I'm going to preface this next part by saying that after booked online, I called the front desk and I think actually spoke with this guy to confirm that they were pet friendly as the online booking asked me nothing regarding the pet deposit but the verbiage was clear in the ad. It turns out, the online booking and his incompetence SCREWED UP and that particular room was not available for the pet friendly service - AND there was nothing else comparable! He and I actually had some choice words, and I regrettably some colorful words due to my fatigue and his incompetence, and at the end he decided that they weren't able to help us, and that we should check with another discount motel down the way. Needless to say, I ended up just driving the family home back to beautiful South Orange County (3 hours away) and slept in our own cozy and CLEAN beds. On the drive home, the wife and kids mentioned before all the commotion that they were going to come down and ask me to have the front desk provide clean sheets as there were dead bugs on both beds... real classy place. read more

Yelp really needs to allow ZERO stars!! Don't stay here if you value your health or the health of your animals! Disgusting room. And nearly twice the price of the average Motel 6. Filthy floors. A rusty nail, earring, change, dust and dirt all over the floors. USED soap still in the bathtub! Towel rack (holding "clean" towels) caked with filth. What appeared to be snot or boogers caked on the sink faucet. The smell of something that died in the bath drain. People driving thru parking lot blaring horns at 3 am. Smoke detector went off in our room at 4am, no fire, no smoke. When we confronted the manager, first he laughed. Then he called the owner. Who accused us of not telling them we had dogs. A lie. He wasn't there when we checked in, the young lady who checked us in was told we had dogs (by me, personally) as well as their weight/size. When we told him of a bad experience last year, and that the manager took steps to fix our issues, he then accused us of "doing this multiple times". Worst Motel 6 experience I've had in over 30 years of staying in these motels. Shitty Motel in a shitty town. Save your $72 and sleep on a park bench, it'll be cleaner. read more

I booked a room at this motel 6 on April 30th for mothers day weeked, May 7th and 8th. After leaving Carson City, NV at 9PM we finally arrived at our destination at 4AM. We were obviously very tired and ready for some rest. I walk to the window to get my room key only to be informed that they had cancelled my prepaid reservation. The man at the window said they tried to call me but that was a load of BS as I didn't have any voicemails or missed calls. To add further insult to injury it was prom night in Delano so every hotel room in the city was booked. Now to really drive the nail into the coffin, one of my girlfriends family members arrived at the same hotel without a reservation 5 hours before us and was able to get a room no problem. After making 10 or so phone calls to several motels at 4AM we ended up having to drive another 30 minutes to Wasco to find the closest vacant hotel. Needless to say I wouldn't recommend this motel to my worst enemy. I will NEVER book a room at a Motel 6 again strictly based on this experience. I would give them 0 stars if possible. read more

Stopping in Delano? You have my sympathies. This town is a real eyesore, and as such, it has very few places to stay. Did you know that Motel 6 is a franchise? It is, and that's why they differ so much from location to location. This location is right near the freeway, so it's convenient, but don't expect much in the way of a nice view. In fact, don't expect much of anything that usually comes with the price of a night's stay in Motel 6- including shampoo, a hairdryer, tissues, or even.....coffee! Sure, they say they have "Complimentary Coffee" available, but what they don't tell you is that they only serve it until 9 am! If you happen to not make it down to the lobby before that, too bad- you're not getting any coffee, despite the fact that there isn't anything around for miles and there are NO COFFEEMAKERS IN THE ROOMS. It's very cruel. Next time I'm going to just keep driving. No point in stopping in Delano. read more

So I made a reservation Friday and checked in Saturday afther my visit and the rude ass manager Grace was the worst person who can fuckin help you. What manager reserves a room for you. And gives you a room someone already was in. I walked in a room and someone's stuff was already there. If I was this horrible person I could of took a lap top purse and other stuff from that room. The person of that room was not even there. Then I called the office to let her no she had a attitude and then wants to put me upstairs in a different room once I told her I didn't appreciate this she had a horrible attitude and said I can give u your money back. I told her give me another room she gave me a room upstairs and what do u no it was a dirty ass room with dirty blankets and dead roaches. I called her back and told her I wanted my money back. The front desk staff goes above and beyond to help you. I had the best sleep ever and I will definitely be coming back when I'm in town visiting my family.
