I don't know that I've seen a TV this small in the last 10 years.

The first floor and the lobby smells like an ashtray. I have computer monitors that are bigger than the TV . The door to our room had an inch and a half gap that you could see through from the outside. We stayed here last year and had a great experience, this year is a complete 180. If you don't mind staying at a beer bones hotel then this is for you

First stop on our road trip! We chose this spot because I had a free hotel room from using the hotels.com app! The average your room totals and give you a free night. We wanted to be close to State St. It's only Like 4/5 miles. The lobby is small but clean. Super small elevator. 2nd floor has an ice machine. There are 3 vending machines. Was a lil perturbed that the AC was off in the room. It s in the mid-high 80s y'all. It's got all the things. USB charging ports, Wi-Fi, cable (obviously). There's restaurants close by. There are many other options of places to stay also. I will add to this in the morning after my stay is over. Here's the update. The flat ass pillows provided no comfort or support. The bed was uncomfortable and hard. At about 9ish an employee used a key and tried to access our room. . When I got up and got to the door they had ran to the stairwell and disappeared. I called the front desk obviously upset. This isn't ok ever. The front desk manager apologized and said it was his mistake. It would have been a lil less bothersome if they had stayed and apologized. Imagine if young girls were traveling? If this man had walked in on young women!

Yes you saw correct. I am giving a Motel 6 a 5 star review because I had an excellent experience. The room was extremely clean, the service staff were extremely nice, and I greatly enjoyed my stay. Everything that I would want in a hotel this hotel provided. The beds were comfortable, the shower was refreshing, though it was a little weird fitting in the bathroom. I have never had a bathroom that was shaped like this one was. Other than that, I feel like I would stay here again in a moments notice. Very cheap and great quality. Pet friendly with no additional fee required, or at least they did not charge me for my 2 cats. Just make sure to check your pets in when staying. Strongly recommended and would stay again.

Huge Motel 6 close to freeways, Walmart and restaurants all walking distance.

For a Motel 6, I gotta hand it to them. It's nice, quiet, inexpensive and clean. The staff is nice and helpful. Rooms are great and it's walking distance from Chili's Restaurant, fast food chains and a Wal Mart, close to the freeway & only minutes away from King University. Can't beat it for the price and would definitely stay here again.

Hubby and I stayed here a little over a week ago on a stopover on our way to visit our son in Tennessee and were quite happy with our accommodations. The desk clerk who checked us in was very friendly and we absolutely loved the central location of the motel itself, just off the expressway. Hubby and I had our golden retriever with us and our room was quite spacious, only drawback was the hardwood floors (although we totally understand the reasoning) as our dog seemed to have some issues walking across the "slippery to canines" walkway. Loved all the modern touches to the room, especially the raised sink and the area around the motel offered ample room to walk our dog to do his business. Although there are no blow dryers readily available in each room the front desk happily supplied one to us for our overnight visit at no charge. There are lots of restaurants and stores in the immediate area and is just off the exit, making for super easy access for us to get back on our way the next morning. The only issue we had was how firm and uncomfortable the mattresses were and that the smoke detector on the wall of our room was missing the batteries (back and batteries were both missing) but the fact that the rooms that allow smoking in the motel were only accessible thru glass doors more than made up for it - we would absolutely stay here again.

Very clean interior

10 out of 10 highly recommend! I did not expect to get everything I got out of this hotel! I…read moretraveled here on a work trip and I decided to stay here because it was a Marriott brand. I failed to realize it was a part of the Tribute Portfolio and it did not miss at all! I felt the hotel was very reasonably priced and located nearby many local shops. The property was easy to find and parking was very accessible. The moment I arrived and entered into the lobby the front desk greeted me and made me feel most welcomed! They provided me with all of the details about the hotel and expressed to give them a call if I needed anything at all. I made my way up to the room and the aesthetics leading to the room were absolutely amazing. The room itself was very spacious and charming. It featured a nice cushioned chair with a record player in each room with a variety of records to choose from in the lobby. The room was very clean and also smelled very fresh! The bathroom was very spacious and up to date! Within the hotel property there was a Southern Craft BBQ spot which I also left a review for; it was really good, so you should definitely check it out! The rooftop bar is a for sure vibe. I received a complimentary hummus at the rooftop with my stay; I'm not sure if that was promotional/seasonal or a bonus gift upon checking in. The experience and stay was definitely one for the books and gives other properties a run for its money! I must express again, I am so grateful for the great team and great service!

If the Fairfield Inn…read moredid not have some good qualities, I would have given it a one to two star rating. For first time visits to this hotel, I strongly encourage people to closely survey their room and bathroom before settling in for the night. So the hotel seemed stellar at first UNTIL I used the shower in my room. The hotel had great reviews, so I did not think I would have a problem. The front desk check in area and our room were clean & very appealing. I loved the selection of tv shows and movies on our television. We had checked in for a late night stay & just wanted to relax before we traveled out early in the morning. Everything seemed ideal until I took a shower in the morning. I noticed there was human hair from other people in the front and back of my shower area. One was a long light brown hair in the front upper area of the shower stall. One was a short black hair on upper back of the shower wall. I was mortified that housekeeping didn't notice this immediately. It made me wonder if they cleaned the bathroom at all after the former guest before us left. Despite all the wonderful amenities, the unsanitary condition of our bathroom made me dock 2 stars from a 5 star rating. It makes me want to thoroughly survey any room we get at any hotel regardless of the hotel having an excellent rating especially this hotel. Breakfast here was exceptional with many options EXCEPT they started shutting down earlier than the 10 AM closing time & there was NO COFFEE available at 9:30 AM. My husband had to wait for them to make a fresh batch. Despite the great breakfast, I got sick from something I ate on the breakfast provided there which is very rare. I never get sick from food I eat. I wanted to give a one star rating to this hotel yet I decided to be kind yet fair.

We wanted to visit downtown Bristol but couldn't afford the prices for the boutique hotels close in. Besides, we're only wanting to sleep and bathe there, am I right? This hotel in a short drive to downtown and right off Highway 81. Very nice check in. Note that there are three floors but no elevator if that is an issue for you. Coffee available on the lobby apparently all the time. We did not partake. The room we were assigned was 100 percent adequate for our needs. The water pressure and the hot water was wonderful. The heat/ac unit worked as needed. Bed was a lil soft but that's personal preference. My only tips would be #1. The light switch right inside the door control the two night table lights and the desk light. So make sure that switch is on. #2. No USB ports in the room but plenty of regular outlets so remember to bring your adapters. I also would like to add that the room was carpet free and had a laminate flooring. I forgoty slippers so I used socks at night after removing my shoes. I spent three nights there and my socks remained white upon leaving. Those floors were clean!!

After driving nearly 500 miles, we decided to stop in Bristol for the night. I hadn't made…read morereservations - we wanted to see how far we got. It was almost 8 pm when I started looking for hotels. Everything was booked or was Motel 6 quality. We don't usually stay in Hampton Inns anymore - the chain in general has really gone downhill. Last night we really had little choice. We were greeted immediately at the front desk and had our keys a few minutes later. Upon entering our room, like is my habit, I checked the bath room to make sure it was clean. It was spotless. The room, however, had a few issues. The carpet just seemed a little "icky" - no real reason but I wasn't comfortable walking barefoot. Issue two. Our television didn't work. Finally, there was a lot of road noise. It was mostly drowned out by the rattle of the air conditioner. You might want to consider ear plugs. Breakfast is 6-10, everyday. I went down at 5:30 just to have my coffee. Breakfast was already out, the eggs and sausage steaming, the waffle maker hot and ready to go. The hotel was full yet the breakfast bar was kept full. Our room was by the elevator - avoid this room. The noise from the hall was quite distracting. When we finally settled in, it was too late to go swimming but the pool area did look nice. There are extremely overpriced snacks available for purchase in the lobby. If you have kids, keep an eye on them - a few of the $4 mini bags of Cheetos and some $3 snickers bars might just put you over your food budget for the day. There are lots of choices in Bristol. Hampton Inn may not be your best choice but it works if all you need is a place to crash while driving through.

A good place to stay right off the interstate exit near Bristol…read more Hampton Inn kicked off in late 1983 when some Holiday Inn folks in Memphis, Tennessee, thought, "Hey, people want nicer rooms and free breakfast without paying luxury prices". They opened the very first one on Sycamore View Road in March 1984. They were one of the first, if not THE first America national mid-priced hotel chain. The brand grew in popularity and ended up getting bought out by Hilton in '99. Now there are nearly 3,000 of them worldwide. This one was like the other ones I have stayed at, for look, convenience, access, price, quality. It was convenient being right off the interstate and very close to several nearby restaurants. Check-in was easy and the staff was pleasant. The lobby and room were clean. The room was a single bed with 2 bedside tables and a comfortable mattress. There was a small lounge area with a sitting chair by the window. The bathroom was brighter colors, with good pressure and a glass shower. They have a small but nice breakfast area and offer takeout bags for their guests to pickup and go. Overall, this is a good choice to stay in the Bristol area.

We had read mixed reviews of the hotel and had chosen not to stay here, but we came to tour it. Which is unusual considering the reviews and their pricing and do I want to stay for 3 nights at $350 ish per night when I'm concerned about the mixed reviews without being able to see what I'm renting. Nevertheless, walking the halls, the rooms being service had their doors open and we could glance in as we passed by. The inn is grand, for sure. The library and fireplaces are very welcoming in atmosphere, decor and interesting artifacts and such. However, it is unlikely that we would choose to stay here for more than one night, the rooms were not "wowing", especially as compared to the grandeur of some of the public rooms.
