Hand lotion on the wall in the bathroom! Smells good! No parabens!
    Jodi C.

Almost $200 for a room. Expected a nice place to stay. Bed was hard. Pillows are slippery. My head kept falling off it and cricking my neck. Very weird. Bed sheet torn on the queen I slept in. The other bed had a shape on it like an employee spent time in there on their break. Maybe took a nap. The shower and fixtures are modern and nice. Love the bathroom wallpaper for a hotel. Big TV. I didn't use it. Got in late. At 5:45am, some nearby room to me put on their TV at top volume. I heard all the news about Voladymir and Vladimir Putin. About the recent shooting by a trans person of 3 people including those 3 kids - 2 age 9, and one almost 9. Very sad. I finally called the front desk to tell them at 6:05am. She hemmed and ummm on the phone. And then it went silent. I said, "can someone walk the halls, find the room and ask them to turn it down?" She said, "that's what I am doing right now." If I had known that, I could have hung up and tried to go back to sleep. Sigh. We hung up and she did take care of it. Breakfast was great! I got waffles! They have egg white frittatas! They also had peanut butter! The lady cleaning up after breakfast for everyone sure is amazing and efficient! There was only 1 sausage left though. I took it. I waited a while and she was busy cleaning and didn't refill the sausages. Slept again until 10:45am. I use the term "slept" lightly. Because I could hear everything. A dog barking on the floor above us. Doors opening and closing. Why don't I consistently remember to bring my earplugs?? Ugh. Oh, and I couldn't turn a fan on full time to drown out the sound, either. Ugh. No maid came and knocked on my door to see if I was leaving either. Hurray!! The staff is great. All of the staff. The gal who checked me in. The housekeeping staff in the hall. The walls are thin and need sound proofing OMG. The art on the walls are cool too.

So loud! I should have turned around when I saw the tailgate party in the parking lot. But, alas, I had made my reservations online and was tired from a day of driving. I could hear teenagers in the hallway until midnight. The worst, though, was the highway noise! Oh my word! I may as well been sleeping in the freeway! There is absolutely no noise insulation! The fan/air conditioning couldn't even cover it up. Speaking of the fan, it had been left on. When I got to my room everything was pretty much soaked from the humidity (near 100 degrees outside and high humidity). I didn't like that. The staff was nice and friendly. The room was clean. No issues there. I just can't get over the road noise.

I failed to realize it was a part of the Tribute Portfolio and it did not miss at all! I felt the hotel was very reasonably priced and located nearby many local shops. The property was easy to find and parking was very accessible. The moment I arrived and entered into the lobby the front desk greeted me and made me feel most welcomed! They provided me with all of the details about the hotel and expressed to give them a call if I needed anything at all. I made my way up to the room and the aesthetics leading to the room were absolutely amazing. The room itself was very spacious and charming. It featured a nice cushioned chair with a record player in each room with a variety of records to choose from in the lobby. The room was very clean and also smelled very fresh! The bathroom was very spacious and up to date! Within the hotel property there was a Southern Craft BBQ spot which I also left a review for; it was really good, so you should definitely check it out! The rooftop bar is a for sure vibe. I received a complimentary hummus at the rooftop with my stay; I'm not sure if that was promotional/seasonal or a bonus gift upon checking in. The experience and stay was definitely one for the books and gives other properties a run for its money! I must express again, I am so grateful for the great team and great service!

If the Fairfield Inn…read moredid not have some good qualities, I would have given it a one to two star rating. For first time visits to this hotel, I strongly encourage people to closely survey their room and bathroom before settling in for the night. So the hotel seemed stellar at first UNTIL I used the shower in my room. The hotel had great reviews, so I did not think I would have a problem. The front desk check in area and our room were clean & very appealing. I loved the selection of tv shows and movies on our television. We had checked in for a late night stay & just wanted to relax before we traveled out early in the morning. Everything seemed ideal until I took a shower in the morning. I noticed there was human hair from other people in the front and back of my shower area. One was a long light brown hair in the front upper area of the shower stall. One was a short black hair on upper back of the shower wall. I was mortified that housekeeping didn't notice this immediately. It made me wonder if they cleaned the bathroom at all after the former guest before us left. Despite all the wonderful amenities, the unsanitary condition of our bathroom made me dock 2 stars from a 5 star rating. It makes me want to thoroughly survey any room we get at any hotel regardless of the hotel having an excellent rating especially this hotel. Breakfast here was exceptional with many options EXCEPT they started shutting down earlier than the 10 AM closing time & there was NO COFFEE available at 9:30 AM. My husband had to wait for them to make a fresh batch. Despite the great breakfast, I got sick from something I ate on the breakfast provided there which is very rare. I never get sick from food I eat. I wanted to give a one star rating to this hotel yet I decided to be kind yet fair.

Both coffees were empty and no creamer. We had to ask for more coffee and then ask for creamer. The breakfast caused my wife to get sick, which caused us to make an additional stop to get meds. Some greats and some work to be done. Stay here on a budget but hope for the best on quality. How does the coffee run dry at 9:45am? People are still waking up still. I know that breakfast closes at 10:00am, but some set there alarms to eat something and get a coffee.

I vowed not to return until things blew over. Which brought us back to last night. The hotel is modern and comfortable. With our room on the first floor, we had easy access to a grassy -- and clean! -- dog walking area. I slept really well, the shower had good pressure, and the hotel's location suits us to a tee. My daughter's high school softball team was playing in the state semifinals, and we had reserved two nights at this hotel. On the day of check-in, I explained to the front desk that we would only need the second night if the team won their 10:00 AM game the following morning. The front desk associate told me that, if possible, they needed to know by noon whether we would be staying the second night. Unfortunately, the team lost. It was an emotional end to a remarkable season, and the girls understandably spent time after the game crying, consoling each other, saying goodbye, helping with equipment, and figuring out transportation back to the hotel. As a parent, my priority was allowing them the time they needed after such a heartbreaking loss. Had I rushed everyone out immediately after the game, I could have made it back before noon. Instead, I arrived at the hotel around 12:15 PM and was briefly stopped in the parking lot by another parent as we reflected on the season and said our goodbyes. I walked into the front desk at approximately 12:20 PM and explained the situation. The employee I spoke with seemed genuinely understanding. She asked for my room number and said she would speak with her manager while we gathered our belongings. A few minutes later, she informed me that the manager would not allow us to cancel the second night and that we would be charged the full $300 because I was 20 minutes past the requested noon deadline. I was stunned. There was absolutely no flexibility, empathy, or consideration for the circumstances. It is difficult for me to believe that a room became impossible to rebook because I arrived 20 minutes after noon. What was most disappointing was not the charge itself, but the complete lack of compassion. My family participates in travel sports year-round, and we frequently book hotel blocks for teams. Because of this experience, I will not stay at this property again, nor will I choose a Hilton property in the future. Hospitality should involve more than enforcing policies to the minute, it should also include understanding and empathy when people are dealing with real-life situations. This was a heartbreaking day for a group of young athletes, and the hotel's response only made it worse.

When I arrived, I saw signs indicating no truck or RV/trailer parking. I tow a 16-foot camper with my Subaru Outback XT, so I parked temporarily and went inside to ask since I had already booked online. Sherri at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. She explained that while they need all their parking spaces and can't allow camper parking in the main lot, there's an empty lot just one street over that guests sometimes use. It's covered by their cameras, and local law enforcement is aware of it. After a long day on the road, that reassurance was everything. The room was spotless -- truly immaculate. My dogs and I were very comfortable. The room had a microwave and fridge, and the deep bathtub was a huge bonus. I took a long, much-needed bath and finally felt human again. The location is super convenient -- close to Walmart and lots of food options. Olive Garden, Chili's, fast food spots, and I personally went to Golden Corral, which was very close. The lobby was clean and welcoming, especially considering they were just thawing out from a recent freeze. You could tell the staff was working hard all day. What really stood out, though, was the front desk staff. Excellent customer service, yes -- but more than that, they were just kind people. After an arduous drive, this place felt safe, calm, and honestly like home, even if just for one night. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.
