The Bristol Hotel in Bristol, Virginia, has a cute boutique, a reasonably priced restaurant, and a popular rooftop bar attraction. I enjoyed my one-night stay to attend a concert at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. It is conveniently located near downtown Bristol, within walking distance of the Country Music Museum and across the street from a dog park and news station. The property and rooms are clean and comfortable despite having a smoker's floor and are pet-friendly. The walls are thin and near a railroad train crossing. The rooms have plenty of pillows, towels, and toiletries. It has a Keurig, combination safe, mini fridge, ample closet, and drawer space. The staff and patrons are friendly. Street parking is available. Check-in and check-out could be quicker and smoother. It is a nice place to stay if you are passing through to your next destination.

From parking by the entrance to being greeted by the friendliest staff ever, The Bristol Hotel exceeded our expectations. When have you spent an overnight "get-away" with a lovely suite, an evening of cocktails and food for two and a morning brunch for a little over $500? All with a 5 star rating! What a surprise. Being from Buffalo we're more than a bit critical of wings so when lemony chicken wings came crunchy and yummy our taste buds jumped for joy. But those brunch time blueberry pancakes were beyond compare. (You may want to share) Please don't hesitate booking a stay at The Bristol while enjoying the Birth Place of Country Music. Not only will you be pleased, you'll wonder where they found their chef.

Stopped here on my travels to TN One of the best Hotels I've ever stayed at! Staff were friendly, the hotel was immaculate, and the breakfast in the morning was yummy! Ended up getting 10% off the stay on a Wednesday night by booking online and clicking on the link at the top, and in addition a $25 credit towards breakfast in the hotel or the rooftop bar. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Goregeous hotel. Pricey at $250 a night on a Saturday but we got a discount of 20%. The hotel room was clean and newly furnished with exceptional decor. We loved the interior design and amenities provided. There is no free breakfast yet we were content with the coffee in our room and the tea provided downstairs. We didn't have time to enjoy the hotel since we stayed for the night. The staff is very nice and provides toothpaste & toothbrushes along with a shaving kit since we forgot to pack them for our trip.

Super classy high rise hotel in downtown Bristol a block from State Street and the TN border. Cindy the night manager was awesome and showered our Milly with delicious treats and brought an elevated dog food/water bowl to our room. Rooms are elegant and the mattresses might be the most comfortable we've ever experienced in a hotel (or else it was the 2am checkin time)! Bathroom is large and the waterfall shower is a nice touch. Rooftop bar is amazing with great outdoor and indoor areas (21+ only). Parking seems rough but I spoke with management and the local police and apparently you're okay (no enforcement of signs) parking almost anywhere on the streets immediately outside the hotel. Just in case, there's also an overflow lot around the block. Didn't get a chance to try Vivian's the in house restaurant but we walked two blocks to the Black Bird Bakery which was fantastic! Front desk staff during the day was also super friendly and helpful. This will definitely become our #1 Pit Stop (see what I did there?) on the speedway to Alabama!

We didn't stay at the hotel but we visited the rooftop bar. The seating was comfortable and the views amazing. The staff were very attentive and helpful. I had a Rose frose that was delicious. The s'mores were fun, different and delicious!

Looking at the park across the street.

We and our humans enjoyed our stay here. The staff was friendly, the room was big, clean, comfortable, and very modern. It's an awesome hotel for humans AND pets. We highly recommend it!

I failed to realize it was a part of the Tribute Portfolio and it did not miss at all! I felt the hotel was very reasonably priced and located nearby many local shops. They provided me with all of the details about the hotel and expressed to give them a call if I needed anything at all. I made my way up to the room and the aesthetics leading to the room were absolutely amazing. The room itself was very spacious and charming. It featured a nice cushioned chair with a record player in each room with a variety of records to choose from in the lobby. The room was very clean and also smelled very fresh! The bathroom was very spacious and up to date! Within the hotel property there was a Southern Craft BBQ spot which I also left a review for; it was really good, so you should definitely check it out! The rooftop bar is a for sure vibe. I received a complimentary hummus at the rooftop with my stay; I'm not sure if that was promotional/seasonal or a bonus gift upon checking in. The experience and stay was definitely one for the books and gives other properties a run for its money! I must express again, I am so grateful for the great team and great service!

So the hotel seemed stellar at first UNTIL I used the shower in my room. The hotel had great reviews, so I did not think I would have a problem. The front desk check in area and our room were clean & very appealing. I loved the selection of tv shows and movies on our television. We had checked in for a late night stay & just wanted to relax before we traveled out early in the morning. Everything seemed ideal until I took a shower in the morning. I noticed there was human hair from other people in the front and back of my shower area. One was a long light brown hair in the front upper area of the shower stall. One was a short black hair on upper back of the shower wall. I was mortified that housekeeping didn't notice this immediately. It made me wonder if they cleaned the bathroom at all after the former guest before us left. Despite all the wonderful amenities, the unsanitary condition of our bathroom made me dock 2 stars from a 5 star rating. It makes me want to thoroughly survey any room we get at any hotel regardless of the hotel having an excellent rating especially this hotel. Breakfast here was exceptional with many options EXCEPT they started shutting down earlier than the 10 AM closing time & there was NO COFFEE available at 9:30 AM. My husband had to wait for them to make a fresh batch. Despite the great breakfast, I got sick from something I ate on the breakfast provided there which is very rare. I never get sick from food I eat. I wanted to give a one star rating to this hotel yet I decided to be kind yet fair.

We wanted to visit downtown Bristol but couldn't afford the prices for the boutique hotels close in. Besides, we're only wanting to sleep and bathe there, am I right? Coffee available on the lobby apparently all the time. We did not partake. The room we were assigned was 100 percent adequate for our needs. The water pressure and the hot water was wonderful. The heat/ac unit worked as needed. Bed was a lil soft but that's personal preference. My only tips would be #1. The light switch right inside the door control the two night table lights and the desk light. So make sure that switch is on. #2. No USB ports in the room but plenty of regular outlets so remember to bring your adapters. I also would like to add that the room was carpet free and had a laminate flooring. It was almost 8 pm when I started looking for hotels. Everything was booked or was Motel 6 quality. We don't usually stay in Hampton Inns anymore - the chain in general has really gone downhill. Last night we really had little choice. We were greeted immediately at the front desk and had our keys a few minutes later. Upon entering our room, like is my habit, I checked the bath room to make sure it was clean. It was spotless. The room, however, had a few issues. The carpet just seemed a little "icky" - no real reason but I wasn't comfortable walking barefoot. Issue two. Our television didn't work. Finally, there was a lot of road noise. It was mostly drowned out by the rattle of the air conditioner. You might want to consider ear plugs. Breakfast is 6-10, everyday. I went down at 5:30 just to have my coffee. Breakfast was already out, the eggs and sausage steaming, the waffle maker hot and ready to go. The hotel was full yet the breakfast bar was kept full. Our room was by the elevator - avoid this room. The noise from the hall was quite distracting. When we finally settled in, it was too late to go swimming but the pool area did look nice. There are extremely overpriced snacks available for purchase in the lobby. If you have kids, keep an eye on them - a few of the $4 mini bags of Cheetos and some $3 snickers bars might just put you over your food budget for the day. There are lots of choices in Bristol. Hampton Inn may not be your best choice but it works if all you need is a place to crash while driving through.

This one was like the other ones I have stayed at, for look, convenience, access, price, quality. It was convenient being right off the interstate and very close to several nearby restaurants. Check-in was easy and the staff was pleasant. The lobby and room were clean. The room was a single bed with 2 bedside tables and a comfortable mattress. There was a small lounge area with a sitting chair by the window. The bathroom was brighter colors, with good pressure and a glass shower. She explained that while they need all their parking spaces and can't allow camper parking in the main lot, there's an empty lot just one street over that guests sometimes use. It's covered by their cameras, and local law enforcement is aware of it. After a long day on the road, that reassurance was everything. The room was spotless -- truly immaculate.
