You know, I was annoyed when I stayed here. Hello, I have a reservation. Usual ID and credit card jargon. Then, like a drill sergeant the list of demands. I mean, we're talking about a sub $100 a night hotel here. No smoking within like 50 yards of the building. I gotta put my pants on and walk through the parking lot over to a space near the grills all the way at the back of the property? I mean, this is a Motel 6 right? Extra charges for non compliance. BUT, as others have said it's super clean. More clean (and AC on upon arrival) than I experienced on a recent Studio 6 in Alvin, Texas. I get the rules but there are some that won't burn you. Drink a beer and put your butts in the can outside the room. Nothing to clean up but a can. Unless I'm toting about four hoes then I think you're safe Boerne Motel 6 owners with the fancy BMWs under carports in the front. Good reviews online, made reservation while traveling. This Motel 6 is spotlessly clean. The front desk clerks are friendly, polite and helpful. Room was immaculate, bed and pillows comfy, bathroom is large. Room was appointed with AC, tv, remote, plenty of channels. There is a clean pool and a putting green to enjoy beside the ice machine. Even though we were right at the stairwell, the room was quiet. Highly recommend for a goos night's sleep and then for breakfast grab a to go coffee in the lobby and head for Bakery Lorraine 2 minutes away! 5 stars for the price! Parking lot is clean and smooth- no pot holes to dodge. read more

We booked here for the April 2024 eclipse (they were the only lodging available) and they definitely took full advantage of it. Our room with 1 king size bed for two nights was close to $1500!!! Unfortunately, it met our expectations for a Motel 6. The fluorescent bulb in the towel "rack" wasn't working. The bath could have used some greater care with painting and caulking--there were gouges and breaks along the door moulding and parts of the bath wall were "bubbled." We got 2 "packets" of shampoo, no conditioner, no body lotion, no tissue paper, and housekeeping came to freshen up the room. There were no sheers on the windows, so if we wanted natural light in our room, we had to be exposed to whomever was walking past and because we were on the ground floor near the front office, there was a lot of foot traffic. Whenever we wanted coffee from the office, we had to ask for creamer! Parking was right outside our door. Service was friendly but the place wasn't a place I'd stay if I had a choice. read more

I have to say that I am very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I was not expecting much. I was actually a little uneasy about staying here but I was traveling with family so I didn't have much of a choice, as this was what they had booked before leaving home. My room has a full kitchen with little cabinets and everything! It has a nice king sized bed and flat screen tv ( front of entertainment unit is equipped with USB, HDMI, and AUX ports, which I was able to plug my computer into and watch Netflix). The reasons I'm giving four stars: ~there were a few stray hairs on my floor, which I know laminate is hard to clean, but still, yucky :-/ ~I don't think they clean between the the mattress and bed very well (it's a platform bed with attached headboard) ~I checked in on Yelp and got a 10% off coupon for my stay but was told I couldn't use since I paid for my room already... Well yeah I paid for it, how else could I check in to my room, and then, therefore, check in on Yelp to redeem the coupon.. doesn't make much sense but oh well. While its a little irritating, it would have only saved $8 so I'll survive! Overall, it's a nice place thus far. I'm sure if I ever wonder to Boerne, Tx with family again, I won't oppose staying here :) PS. It's now after 1am and I can't sleep because I can hear my neighbor every time they get out of bed.. laminate does not absorb sound well (I'm on the top floor at the end, so I only have one neighbor). Note, I cannot hear their TV or voices, it's just being able to hear them walk around and its pretty loud. I think they're just getting up to go the bathroom considering the briefness but you can definitely hear footsteps and it sounds like a marching band!!!!! read more

I was looking for an inexpensive place to stay for one night so I booked here. I had a very pleasant experience. The room is large with a full kitchen, including a full-size refrigerator, stove, oven and small dining table. Appliances, sinks, toilet looked new. The room looked very clean and updated. The motel is across the street from a Walgreens which is very convenient. My room was near the street and the air conditioner is not silent but I'm a good sleeper so I slept through the noise. Housekeeping knocked on my room door at 8 am sharp so be sure to put out your Do Not Disturb sign if you want to avoid that. Front staff very cordial and helpful. Overall, for the price, great place to stay. read more

Whenever I hear motel 6, I think of a dumpy spot (think "My Name is Earle"). I'm surprised to say this location alters everything about what I've thought about cheap motel rooms. We drove in on our way to Phoenix and the owner told us their "no smoking" policy. The last time we made this trip we got a hotel further down I-10 and all I remember was the lingering tobacco smoke scent. Exactly what our UHaul smells like. It's nice to know a place like this exists and I can finally breathe. It's minimalistic mid century design lets you do exactly what you stopped here to do: Rest from your trip. It's price, in my opinion, beats out all the other motels in Bourne, Tx. Be sure to check in through the yelp app and possibly get a discount when you check into Motel 6! I wish I knew.. read more

I was very pleased with my stay at Motel 6 in Boerne. I booked my room on TripAdvisor (Motel 6 was the most affordable place to stay in Boerne, just fyi). The manager was very polite and helpful when I checked in. He explained the layout of the motel and let me know the motel was a 100% non-smoking facility, which was good news to me bc I hate having to stay in a room where someone has been smoking. My room was VERY clean and it had everything I needed (mini fridge, microwave, flat screen tv with lots of channels, landline phone, comfy bed & pillows, plenty of towels, and an AC that works great). The tv had USB and auxiliary ports on the front of it, so you can plug in your laptop or other devices and watch Netflix, Hulu, or whatever. The wifi network worked great as well. Here are the only 2 reasons why I'm not giving this place 5 stars: 1. I had to listen to the people upstairs stomping around until about midnight. There were only 5 or 6 guests that night, and I think it would have been smarter if the manager would have spread the guests out a bit, instead of cramming us all on one end of the motel so that those of us on the ground level had to hear the other guests stomping around upstairs. Just my opinion. 2. When I went to check out the next morning, I had to stand there for about 5 minutes waiting for someone to come out and help me. I ended up having to say "HELLO" pretty loud to get the lady's attention. I guess she was in the back somewhere and wasn't paying attention. Nonetheless, it was a good experience. Cleanliness is usually my biggest concern when it comes to hotels/motels, but that was not an issue here. Also, there are plenty of places to eat nearby (fast food, Mexican food, Denny's, and a donut shop...just to name a few). There is also a Walgreens right across the street from the motel. Did an unplanned getaway from Austin heading to Lost Maples. Meandering/sightseeing around Boerne and stayed here for the night. Used the Yelp discount at check-in. The modern look of the room was very nice and everything was so so clean. Great reception on the TV. Enjoyed some current HBO as we are cord-cutters and stream only at home. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Had lots of local info. That is a big plus for serious Day Trippers. Check out the Guadalajara restaurant for breakie in the a.m. Killer homemade tortillas and only 30 second walk from your door. read more

I can't say I recommend any other hotel over this one as we decided on this one based on the reviews and because it was close to where we needed be. I was very impressed by this Motel 6. I have stayed in many through the years and this one was top notch! Very clean, and comfortable. There was a pool and a putting green right across from our room. If I had one complaint, it would be that we were only staying one night and we wanted to explore the caves the next day without having to leave our belongings in our vehicle while we toured them in the Texas heat. We asked about a late check-out and even offered to pay for a late check out, but the most he could give us was an extra half hour, so there was no way we could go check out the caves like we had hoped. I recommend this motel for its convenience to Boerne attractions, modern furnishings, cleanliness, and accommodating staff. Room was large and comfortable. Really the best motel type lodging I've ever stayed at. 4 stars instead of 5 because there was not a hair dryer or iron in the room and you had to get those things at the front desk. Stayed here while I was in town on business. Lady at the front was nice as I checked in. Had a room downstairs facing the outside so it was easy access. I have never stayed at a Motel 6 before but the price was good. The location in town made it a great choice. The design of the rooms were a more contemporary look and were nice. I enjoyed my two night stay here and would be back here anytime and would recommend here for anyone. read more

Better than many $100 per night hotels. Clean, simple and spacious rooms. The minimalistic design might be the same at other Motel 6's, but I don't know as this was my first time staying in one. I could only hope that all Motel 6's have this same room design. I will stay at this location again whenever I am in Boerne. Motel 6 corporate should use this as a poster child for their chain. I always assumed Motel 6's were dumpy and dirty before this visit. Now I know better! (Also, watch out for the sugar ants.) read more
