We decided to stay at this New Orleans style hotel because of its proximity to Main Street and all its attractions. The king size room is carpeted with a marble bathroom floor, large shower (no tub), one multi usb port and high ceilings. It would've been nice to have a ceiling fan instead of the odd gold clunky light fixture. We decided to come here for a Monday night getaway which means the rates are probably less, but many businesses in the area are not open on a Monday or Tuesday. Getting a room here requires no face-to-face time, everything is done online where they'll text you a key code for your room door, no key card. Our short stay here was in a good size room with quiet cool AC and a comfy bed with 4 over stuffed pillows. I was disappointed in the fact the room had no mini fridge, just a Keurig (no microwave either). You'll need to bring an ice chest if you want cold drinks, etc.. They do have a hospitality room with a microwave, but our room code did not work to access it We got the Bakery Lorraine (see seperate review) breakfast package thinking it was in the immediate area not a half mile walk away. It was a good breakfast, but I recommend driving there since there's enough parking, otherwise skip this option. When it comes time to check out, you just send a text that you're leaving to the original text. It's as quick as that. Next time, we'll probably make it a Wednesday through Saturday stay when everything is open. You really can't beat the location, which the price of the room reflects. I had SUCH high expectations for my stay here. I was speaking at an event and my client booked me at The William. It looks gorgeous online. First, the hotel itself is difficult to find and not marked well. Second, there is an elevator but it is in the back and there isn't a sign on the bottom of the stairwell that informs guests where the elevator is. So we ended up hauling our luggage up the stairs by hand. Third, I didn't have my room information because my client had booked it. When I inquired politely via phone, I was berated and told "We can't let you into a room if you don't know the name!!" Yes, I am aware of that. I was trying everything I could to get the information but could not reach my client. Took a while to check in but eventually got in my room. If my client hadn't had booked the hotel I would have left because the manager (owner?) was so rude on the phone for no reason. Lastly, the walls are thin. My neighbor sawed logs all night and I couldn't sleep. The noise seeped through the walls. Sadly, I would not recommend this property. read more

If I could give this place and the service by Molly 0 stars, I would... I truly can't believe the amount of positive reviews. This is NOT luxury in any way, shape or form. It's a dinky, smelly motel with some "makeup" for influencers to post on Instagram, is the best way I know to describe this. Booked this as an anniversary/Christmas getaway for my parents and they sent me videos and pictures of a dirty room with stained carpet and apparently air freshener to try to mask the smell. The mattress was cheap and you could feel the springs on it. They ended up leaving and looking for a different place altogether because the smell alone was too much. When I called to report this, Molly was incredibly rude and defensive instead of trying to accommodate her guests that paid a high price and drove hours for a "luxury" experience they were hoping to receive. Her top excuses were, "you booked a handicap accessible room." Does that mean these rooms are treated with less care and importance?? And, "I just had surgery recently and have received many calls." No apologies, and worst of all, no refund even when they didn't even stay there... gross, rude, and disrespectful on so many levels. Sad my parent's getaway was ruined because of you. Do yourself a favor and book any place other than this. Seems Boerne has other better options. This is NOT luxury and definitely NOT quality. I would not be taking time out of my day to leave this review on every site I know of if I weren't seriously trying to save you the same disappointment. read more

The bed was comfy, the room was plush, all the facilities basic requirements were met. The room itself was very charming and I loved the fixtures and overall look/feel of the room. We where sad that due to the staircase location our room 202 did not have an outdoor patio set. We would've loved to take advantage of outdoor seating but didn't have one it's the only room on the floor I think that didn't have an outdoor patio available. The walls are very thin. But as a seasoned traveler I never go anywhere without my sound canceling earbuds so this wasn't a big deterrent for me however if you are a light sleeper and can't wear some type of sound dampening on your ears I might not recommend this location for you. The contactless check-in was really lovely and overall we enjoyed our stay. We did get some ants invading our room but it was quickly dealt with. However I would not recommend having anything that might interest ants sitting out. read more

First off if you're looking for a hotel with a traditional lobby, fitness center, spa and the like, this ones not for you. It's a boutique exquisite little hotel. You check in like an AirBnb, in that you receive a code to get in and out of your room. Now, if you're looking for a hotel with great rooms, and people that truly care about their guests' happiness, and amazing location in downtown this is the one for you! We were stuck during this recent huge snow/ice storm. Literally nothing was open, the roads were closed. They checked in with us to make sure we were ok. They also accommodated us when we couldn't actually leave when our stay was over. We ended up "squatting" two extra days. They were super understanding and were so generous to us! We couldn't have asked for a better place to be stuck. Recommend 6 million percent! read more

Its okay, the rooms are a bit small and the bathrooms are designed for only one person, with double doors blocking access to two people. I would have made the rooms bigger, like suites and expanded the bathrooms. We were in the back, the very last room and it was pretty noisy from the road. I thought the value just was not there, for the price point at $199. I thought this room should have been at $139 especially as we were the only ones there. I would recommend it, with the caveats above factored in but just is not the quaint hotel I would have expected. Check in is confusing as the text says to go upstairs, use the code and enter the Salon. I was also given a text, which I missed (my bad) but the Salon, was a room that have a few couches, fridge and coffee, maybe a sign embossed on the door saying "Salon".... read more

The hotel met all our expectations with top notch comfort and amenities / super clean and fresh. Also the extras of Kureig coffee and water was a plus. It's great location and walking distance to everything. It's even super quiet at night- got a very good night sleep as we had ran around all day looking with realtor. However note it's on the upstairs of building and you have to park behind which can be a bit tricky as you have to go through the Bank or America parking lot. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend to others! read more

This hotel is now named The William.. The same folks that previously owned the Mercedes Benz dealership in Boerne sold it and purchased Crescent Quarters (renamed The William) as well as Ye Kendall Inn. They are making fantastic updates and changes! We are so happy we stayed here on our trip to Boerne. The room we stayed in was totally redone and incredibly well decorated -- crystal chandeliers, thickly padded wool carpet, marble bathroom... The William is only a handful of rooms but each has a coffee pot, complimentary water bottles, plush chairs, flat screen TVs and a writing desk. There is also a comfy common room with a large TV, couch and chairs, as well as a coffee pot, ice machine, mini fridge and microwave. We paid $160-ish for a king room. It was absolutely worth every penny to sit on the balcony outside our room and watch the pedestrians on Main St. as we sipped a glass of wine. read more

My Husband and I stayed at The William for our 6th wedding anniversary, it was a bit of a staycation since we live about 40 mins away. Let me tell you this hotel is beautiful! The building gives me New Orleans style French quarter vibes with the gas lanterns lining the beautiful wrap around balcony! It is located right in the heart of downtown Boerne just one block from the main street square! No need to drive or find parking on a busy Saturday, everything you need is in walking distance. Since parking can be scarce downtown it was very nice to have a private parking lot right behind the hotel! Check in was super simple and the room only required a code to access our room that was sent to us. Our room was gorgeous, very NYC chic with a very comfortable king-size bed. The room offered everything you would need for a relaxing stay including your own bath robes, Keurig coffee machine, cable TV and snacks and drinks available and their lounge area. Lots of locally owned restaurants and shops around to keep you busy and just so happens their was a car show happening in the square while we were there! I did not have a single bad experience while we stayed at The William, staff was extremely friendly and helpful during our stay. We would 100% stay here again! Would be an awesome spot during the holiday season or during other events in the downtown area of Boerne since you have a great view of Main street from the balcony. Much like the street on which it's situated, Crescent Quarters is quaint. My fiancee and I stayed in Room 206 (Shabby Chic), this past Tuesday, and were quite pleased overall. Unlike a few other reviews I'd perused, ear plugs weren't required for a good night's sleep -- even being within such close proximity of Hauptstrasse (a.k.a. Main St) and the seemingly incessant traffic, as we were. Comfy bed, mostly clean interiors, and a fabulous restaurant just downstairs. My only complaints would be with parking -- having to drive through the Bank of America lot to reach Crescent Quarters, while not a pain, per se... I mean, a sign directing guests would've been nice -- and our shower. Great temperature, but oy, please adjust that pressure. Or replace the head; something. Very uncomfortably sharp jetstreams of water. read more

I've stayed at Crescent Quarters twice now over the last 2 or so years. Both stays have been consistent. The rooms are themed and are decorated differently and furnished different as well. This means one room might have 2 queen beds while another room only has 1 king. As luck would have it, both times I stayed I ended up in the Far East Room. The room was clean and you can't beat the location for convenience. It's located right in the middle of the action downtown. The parking situation has changed some from my first visit but they do still have parking behind the building. I should say that if you're in town and you want to see before you book, you'll need to pop into the Christmas shop on the same block. The reservations are run out of there. You do get a breakfast each morning in the common room, which like your room, is located on the second floor. On the common balcony, there is seating, a table and a porch swing for any of the guests to use. There was free WiFi included. In fact, I believe the wireless router was located in my room so I certainly had a great connection. I will fully admit that I'm a fairly sound sleeper but on both stays I was with some light sleepers and no one had problems with noise from traffic or neighbors. Seriously, if you want convenience to the main street shops and a clean room which includes a breakfast, you should consider here. read more

I just returned from the weekend there. This hotel is amazing. It looked very nice from the online pictures, but that is not always a great way to tell how nice a hotel is. These pictures looked nice because the hotel is very nice. The staff was extremely accommodating and attentive. The hotel is a small boutique hotel with a very few rooms. They are wonderfully decorated. Location is right in the middle of the downtown area. I will definitely stay here again any chance I get. read more

This is a quaint, charming little place. If I were staying in Boerne, this would be the place I would want to stay. We stayed in the Shabby Chic room and it was just fine. Nice, firm bed and most everything you need in a room. About the only knock on the place would be the breakfast. The choices were somewhat limited and the breakfast tacos we had were almost inedible. At just about every bed and breakfast I've stayed at, the breakfast has been a treat. Not so much here. Other than that, this is a great little place to stay. Smiley face. read more

My daughter and I stayed at the William while we were in town for the first time. The hotel is beautiful, Clean, and the staff is wonderful. The only issue we had, which is a BIG issue, is that you can hear everything through the walls. The first morning we were here we were woken up at 7 o'clock in the morning with people talking next-door. It was clear that they weren't talking loudly. But we could still hear the muffled conversation overall. Fast forward to the second night, we hear all the trappings of an X-rated movie or an actual X-rated crazy something that was happening in the other room. It was extremely inappropriate and we immediately called the hotel staff and they moved us to another room. So, exhausted at 11:30 PM in our new room, then we get to hear the wall banging With other people going at it on the other side of the new room. I don't care what people choose to do in private, However, I do not want to have to hear it, Especially when I'm with my daughter! Who ever built out this hotel made a very, very poor decision on the quality of sound proofing between the walls. Even though the hotel is beautiful and the staff is amazing, as they had no control over the situation, we will never stay here again. read more

Great location and room. It seemed 1,000 times more clean than chain hotels. The fixtures were newish and shiny, the shower actually worked like it was supposed to, the concrete floor was clean. I love the decor - we stayed in the Blue Dog room. I love that they allow dogs in certain rooms, we wouldn't have stayed otherwise. Not having a key is nice - when you just walk downstairs to eat or sleep, you literally don't have to take anything but a credit card! The only complaints are the bed and the noise. The bed needs to be replaced - you couldn't couch without 10 springs squeaking. My limbs kept falling asleep because it wasn't comfortable. And then we were in a room that adjoined another, with an obnoxiously loud couple that obviously didn't know/care that we could hear EVERYTHING. Everything. I wish they would put thicker doors or better insulation between rooms. Or a stop-gap - send a notice in the confirmation email that adjoining rooms may need to be a bit more conscientious of the noise factor. read more

Stayed at The Crescent Quarters in Boerne for one night. I got a great deal on Groupon ($69 per night), however, I would pay full price for this place. Not far from San Antonio and Fredericksburg (about a 30 minute drive to either). We stayed in the Hill Country suite. LOVED the bubble tub and king-sized bed. Ate dinner a few blocks away at The Dodging Duck which was delicious! Awesome breakfast and wonderful location for accessibility to all the stores. Highly recommended. read more

We love to stay at Crescent Quarters whenever we visit Boerne! We stayed two nights over Christmas weekend and had a wonderful, "hot" home cooked breakfast both mornings (even on Christmas morning) of scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon, sausage and potatoes with chorizo..plus there are always bagels, english muffins, cereal, yogurt, juice, coffee, etc. We love to stay in the N'Awlins room because of the bubble tub but have stayed in several of the different rooms and never been disappointed. There was a very nice woman on-site for most of both days who was very accommodating with anything we needed. We actually like the fact that check-in is "self serve" as one review stated and with everything available that you might need, but no manager underfoot, it makes it feel more like home instead of a hotel. The place is very clean and will be exceptional when they finish renovations and get organized. Extremely friendly staff and right in the center of town so convenient to everything. We stayed in this hotel through Groupon last year and we agree with Brooke B on the Blue Dog room...the bed was HORRIBLE...so much that we ended up leaving and staying in Boerne with family. We thought it was going to be cool to be downtown and we could just go downstairs for breakfast and stumble in at night. There was no way we were going to be able to sleep with the bed like that. Great location. Note: This hotel is "self serve". We stayed in the Plantation Room which was comfortable & nicely decorated. Not the worst place I've ever stayed but also not the nicest. Things I would change if I owned this Inn... provide hangars (we got wire hangars when we called for some), a place for guests to place their luggage, extra towels, properly working toilet (meaning you don't have to hold the handle down to flush). The breakfast is not actually from Cypress Creek restaurant (downstairs) but instead from the local grocery store (store bought breads, pre-packaged muffins, etc.). When we called for assistance on a few things the person who answered the phone told us to look in the community room closet (where housekeeping keeps the supplies). Interesting. read more
