The project included a complete redo of our large landscape area. It included complete replacement of drainage, irrigation, ground modification and soil prep. She personally picked out the hundreds of plants and trees and directed her staff in planting. She helped design and had installed almost 100 new landscape lights with transformers. She helped us modify the landscape design to achieve our goal and closely supervised her staff. She was onsite frequently and did all of the plant placement decisions. She was instrumental in adding some major enhancements to the original landscape plan. Her 3 employees who did the job were outstanding and worked tirelessly every day. Their attention to detail and quality of work was exceptional. Martin made major adjustments in irrigation, drainage, equipment choices and ground modification to complete the job properly. Both Raul and Pompello did excellent jobs. Overall we highly recommend Janet and her team for any landscape project.

Throughout the entire project I always knew what to expect from her team, what they needed from me and when, and how much/when the payments were due. 3. She is very reasonably priced, especially given her combination of skills and the quality of her team members. We learned they have all been working together for 20+ years and it shows in their efficiency and quality of work. Our experience with her was so great that we have already reached out to ask her to work on another project for us.

She also came to meet with us and the contractor to help resolve some issues that emerged from design to final product, which was so helpful. Wife & I had a total home remodel overseen by Marrokal Design and Remodeling (separate review)…read more This was a TOTAL home remodel which had us move out for 9-months and move back into a new home with new yards. Marrokal recommended Landscape Logic & Tony Vitale for all exterior landscaping, fences, trellis, fountains, etc.. And boy are we happy with that recommendation! We scheduled Tony to visit our site and discuss our desires. Tony impressed us with his knowledge and desire to exceed customer desires! A week or so later Tony emailed us some preliminary designs and cost estimates. OK, I'll be honest here, Tony's cost estimates way exceeded our landscaping budget targets from Marrokal. Wife & I were in shock. We contacted Tony and he identified some cost drivers we could reconsider. One easy change was using decomposed granite (DG) for our backyard dining area instead of concrete. Immediate cost reduction of over $5K. After a few redesigns we approved cost estimates and gave approval for work to begin. And this is where we became total fans of Tony Vitale and Landscape Logic! Wife and I really had not comprehended the amount of work which was simply for site preparation. Much existing soil needed to be removed to allow for grading. This also entailed removal of large root systems and old irrigation. There was a team of workers onsite for many days working hard from early morning until just before sunset. A special shout out to team foreman Balthazar! This was backbreaking work using picks, jackhammers and shovels. Laying new drip irrigations system was equally a large task which required laying a new drain under a sidewalk and drilling a hole through street curb. Tony then met us at a local nursery and we walked the grounds to select new plants and trees. I was really impressed with Tony's knowledge of each plant/tree variety. Wife & I might point at something we really liked and Tony would warn us against the selection due to size after growth. Tony would then identify alternate plant selections which would stay within growth constrains for our yard. Tony also identified excellent sources for fence and trellis, of which he would oversee work. Wife & I are totally happy with our new yards both front and back. Photo attached of backyard showing two trellis, patios, fountain, landscaping and fence. We love our yard and the great work of Landscape Logic!

I was left explaining to the workers, who speak little English, what is needed - e.g. the missing trench drain at the end of the path needs to be installed. I paid for the pavers used in the project and asked the workers to leave the excess pavers stacked up as I can use them later. The workers took them and said they threw them away. After I complained about it, the workers brought back a half pallet of pavers. In it there were 10 of the pavers I wanted instead of over 300 that came with the 20 pallets I paid for the project. Nonetheless the general contractor wanted the project completed and paid for. I paid all the fees and told them not to bother coming back because I don't trust them doing any more work for me even if something goes wrong with the path.

He gave me an excellent price for replacing the 4 valves that controlled my front sprinkler system, fixing a broken pipe damaged by a tree root and installed a new sprinkler controller. The work was professionally done. Then, I asked him to look at my back sprinkler system which for months was no longer watering adequately. After looking over the sprinklers and doing a flow test, he determined that I had a blockage somewhere in pipe running through the house to the back. I quickly identified where the blockage was (a water filter system) and took it out of service, which restored my system to normal functioning. I would never have thought of that without his expertise. For quality work, price and expertise, he cannot be beaten in my estimation.

After meeting with several high-pressure landscaping companies, working with Dan was a breath of fresh air. Once the project started, we met Hector, the foreman, along with Tito and Marcos. They are hardworking, genuine people who clearly enjoy what they do. Over the two-week project they removed heavy roots, took down a large tree, prepared the ground, installed plants, created a beautiful rock garden, added a sprinkler system and lighting, and repaired and painted the fences. Our backyard was transformed from a messy "jungle" into a neat, beautiful oasis. One thing that really stood out: after the job was technically finished, Dan and his crew came back early the next morning to reposition two 300-plus-pound rocks so everything was exactly how we wanted it. Thank you, Dan, Hector, Tito, and Marcos.
