Resort was great, and was a nice glamping experience. We stayed in a Yurt. The Yurts are about 100ft apart from each other but feel private from others. The bed was comfortable, but I would recommend checking for spiders before you jump in. There are many nice trails on the property, swings and a zip line (even adults can ride it!). Our favorite part was undoubtedly were the rabbits that wandered around the property (they love marshmallows). Additionally there is a cooking shack with a propane grill and a kettle. You will need to bring a pan and cooking utensils. Overall a quiet and nice experience. read more

We stayed here for two nights with our 6 and 8 year old this summer while exploring Olympic national park and it was by far our most favorite part of the trip. The property is just magical!! Our tent site had every detail thought out, beds were comfy and tent had heat, site was private and could hear creek while sleeping. Shared areas were beautiful, sunny grass area for lawn games, bunnies to track down and feed, swings, the most fun zip line ever, and a magical trail hike to small waterfall all on the property. Owner Jerry and property manager Ronnie have clearly put so much time and care into the property. Ronnie was the nicest host, checking in on us while also giving space. My brothers and I were in from the East Coast, visiting Olympic National Park, and we needed a place to stay between the back country and the beach camping we had next on our agenda. Glamping is just glamorous camping. To that person who rated this place as a 1? I am not sure what they saw, but this place (and certainly the staff) should get a full 5+ stars!! The tent -- we had an awesome tent with all the cooking supplies/utensils needed for our dinner. The tent itself was spacious and the well placed outhouses were nicer than any rest areas I have ever been to. The showers were hot and smelled of cedar -- exactly what was needed after our 4 days in the back country. Jerry and Ronnie were the best! We hung out at Ronnie's shack, and enjoyed the conversation and libations. After hearing off all the work Ronnie put in crafting the trails, we took a stroll and added a few more steps to put already weary legs. And it was worth it, earning the name of this resort. The craftsmanship and attention to detail makes this place unique. I would absolutely come back, and would be happy to bring the kids! read more

My family stayed here for two nights during a 9-day trip to the Pacific Northwest and it was absolutely our favorite part of the vacation. This is a very special spot. It is charming, whimsical, rustic, and extremely comfortable. My 8 and 11 year old children adored the zip line and tame rabbits. I stumbled across Mossquatch resort while looking online at beaches to explore around Olympic National forest. This place does not disappoint. Jerry, the owner is very friendly and made us feel very welcome. He has put so much thought, creativity and detail into the making of Mossquatch. My communication with his daughters through email and messenger about our reservations was made easy and they were extremely helpful. Ron, one of the groundskeepers makes his rounds to check and make sure you're taken care of with what you need. Our stay has been a fantastic experience ! The ease of only having to bring necessities made this weekend so much more relaxed and enjoyable!! Mossquatch provided everything else we needed. It will definitely be a "glamping" experience we remember and recommend to others. We can't wait to come back and wish we would have booked for more than two nights!!! read more

We stayed at Mossqutach for a few nights during a road trip. My family and I absolutely loved it. We chose a canvas tent with two beds, both of which included a trundle. Each site is very private and spaced apart comfortably. All include a picnic table, seating area, fire pit, covered trash bin, cooking shack and outdoor sink. The cooking shack well equipped with everything you could possible need including pans, disposable plates, paper towels, cooking spray, lighter, etc. There is firewood available throughout the property. The tent was clean and comfortable. We were located close to the showers and flushing toilet which was convenient. There are also many clean outhouses available throughout the resort. We enjoyed the hand built sauna as well as the private hiking trails on site. My kids loved the lawn games and zip line, as well as the bunnies running around the lawn. The entire property is very well thought out and you can tell how much thought and care has gone into it. The highlight for us was the camp host Ronnie. He was incredibly warm, welcoming, hardworking and extremely helpful. We also met the owner Jerry who was also very kind and as gracious enough to give us a peak at the cabins which were very cozy and well appointed. I could honestly go on and on. The property has many unique and fun elements that make this place very special. My kids didn't want to leave! We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Forks. The resort is only about 10-15 away from the town center where you can get gas and food. Thank you Ronnie and Jerry! We hope to visit again someday. read more

Pictures and videos don't do this stunning place justice and that's saying a lot considering it looks amazing online. We have wanted to visit since it first opened and finally got our chance. The canvas tents are glamping at its absolute finest! First, they smell incredible!!! Beautiful wood smells and gorgeous extra like lanterns, flameless candles, wine glasses and propane heaters. The beds are the best I have ever slept in and we airbnb and glamp a ton! Even without the heaters on we went to bed toasty warm in the most cozy blankets. The cooking shacks are stunning! You get your own at the tent and it has everything you could possibly need and then some! The trails are lush and trees are labeled so you can learn along the way. You could play for days at Mossquatch and never tire of it, but it's also perfectly located to be the best base camp to visit all of the surrounding beaches. We went to La Push, Rialto and Kalaloch Beach 4, coming back to our tent in between to change. If you have the pleasure of meeting Jerry, he'll make ya feel right at home and give you a lesson about the property. We learned some foraging and enjoyed time of the incredible playground he has built. I'm not sure I can even put into words how incredible it truly is here. We will be returning again and again and hope you'll visit this absolute gem as well! read more

I can't say enough good things! This is my favorite campsite in Forks. It's close to my favorite beach and Olympic National Forest. The accommodations were outstanding. We slept so well each night and the beds felt just like home. We loved how simple and easy Mossquatch made our weekend. We didn't need our cooking gear, our tent or even chairs! All we needed were ourselves, our personals and our food. Fire wood is already on site, water is as well both for cooking and drinking. There are showers that are nice and toasty which was so nice compared to our regular set ups. Solar lights made star gazing easy but still kept our site well lit if we needed to get something or use the bathroom. Outhouses are at every site so it wasn't far and they smelled only of the wood they are made with. 100/10 recommend. I am so excited to visit this slice of heaven again! read more

Wow! This place is special. I was looking for a place to stay in the Olympic National Park that was centrally located to all of the hikes and lakes I wanted to explore. I found this place on Airbnb, and was a little hesitant because I have not camped since I was younger. We decided to give it a try, and I was blown away. The property was built with so much attention to detail, and a genuine care for the experience of the guests. The cooking shack had all the supplies we needed to cook, outhouses were very clean, and the bed was comfortable. We spent the evenings relaxing by the fire pit. We met Jerry, the owner, and the story behind the resort showed how much passion and heart was placed into making this place a great experience for people. We loved our stay, and can't wait to come back next summer. read more

Magical place! Stayed here for 2 nights with the kids and we all loved it. Kids got to explore nature and go on hikes around the property - the short waterfall hike was perfect even for a 4 year old who got to use ropes to climb down to the small creak and then up to the waterfalls. They kids also loved loved loved the zip line that Ronnie the host built. Every morning all the kids wanted to do is feed the rabbits and do the zip line. Ronnie was a great host, helped us out with flash lights since we did not bring any and showed us around. Awsome place!!! read more

Mossquatch was magical and we loved it. Our tent, bed, linens, and private camp kitchen were all brand new. We had lots of dry firewood, which we could cut down to kindling with a high end axe. All the details were thought out...everyone we said "hey, this would be nice to have," there it was. There were solar lights, candles, and a wonderful stove in the tent. Jerry, the owner, taught the kiddos about edible plants and sasquatches. We hiked to a waterfall on a really nice trail. We ziplined and played on swings. The outhouse smelled better than any other pit toilet I've ever been in and, trust me, I've used quite a few. For those that need a toilet, there is a working bathroom with a toilet and solar heated showers. This was my favorite hotel/camping stay ever. I'm hesitant to glamping ever again as I fear I'll be disappointed with everyone else. read more

My husband and I are traveling the PNW and PCH for our 20 year anniversary celebration. We wanted to wing it for the majority of the trip, but knew that we needed to at least get the first few nights booked so we weren't stranded along the way. I took to a popular social media app and Mossquatch popped up as a suggestion. I loved the look of the place and so we "settled" on Mossquatch for our stay. Boy we're we pleasantly surprised when we arrived. We stayed in the Logger Cabin (#3). It was far enough from all of the other cabins and tents for the right amount of privacy and was perfect for the two of us. It offered a private sitting area on the back porch as well as a private fire pit on the path below along the little creek. The outhouses are right in front of the cabins and setup very nicely. The shower house is towards the front of the property, but everything is in walking distance. There are trails cut on the property that were a fun adventure and lead to a beautiful waterfall. But I'll tell you the thing we enjoyed most was the campground host Ron. He really loves what he does there and it shows. He welcomes everyone that comes in with a smile on his face and we looked forward to talking to him to tell him about our daily adventures. All of this to say, if you don't stay at Mossquatch, you're missing out! read more

Would not recommend this resort. WORST airbnb we have stayed at. Showed up around 630pm to find that we were the only travelers with multiple abandoned appearing tents and buildings. No host or other staff were present. The campground itself is unsecured with anyone having the ability to drive into the property. The tents do not lock either leaving you vulnerable to whoever may happen to wander past. This might be ok in a situation where many other visitors are staying there but on a night where we're the only humans for miles (the site is a solid 20 minutes outside of town), it felt incredibly unsafe. We were at no point notified we would be the only ones at the resort and upon attempting to communicate with the hosts, were unable to reach anyone by phone despite multiple attempts. When I finally received a message from the host, I was told the "remoteness" is why people choose to stay there, offered no reassurance regarding the safety and told to "enjoy". This was not remote so much as full on creepy. There was an unsecured hatchet next to our tent which seemed primed for a serial killer wandering into the unsecured property where we were the only one staying . As we were unable to communicate with anyone working at the resort other than by brief Airbnb message, we left seeking shelter at a nearby motel. This place would be better suited as a haunted house than a glamping resort. For the record I understand they cannot predict who may stay there any given night but a warning prior to arrival or at the least communication and professionalism during our stay would have been appreciated. I would expect more from this sort of resort given the experience they are advertising. I have stayed in many remote campsite and Airbnb's, the remoteness was not the issue so much as the creepiness and lack of communication. Would not waste your money here and check out one of the many other campgrounds or motels in the area! read more
