After living in 3 boroughs and having several experiences with brokers, I can say that Nigel Borel is the best broker in NYC.

However I will say that I maintain my apartment to a certain standard, there was a flood in my apartment due to a neighbor leaving running water. My rug was damaged in the process but saved a lot of furniture by absorbing and creating a barrier to keep the water from getting further into my apartment. This occurred in February, I've been calling down the general manager for my building and the insurance claims specialist, whom never responded. I emailed. It's shameful that people have jobs but don't want to do them effectively. Especially when you're serving others and providing services that adhere to their shelter! I have receipts, I won't be chasing, I'll just go to small claims court. Any apartment rentals you see from this management company, keep scrolling. Save yourself the trouble. Terrible service, there are a few good employees in the office and maintenance workers who are helpful, but they are overworked too and don't have all the answers. The upper management don't value the tenants nor their impact. 0 stars

Left out information about the house which resulted in us losing the home even after sending a wire transfer. The whole situation and how they went about it was very sketchy and scammy. We did not hear from them in over a week, didn't answer emails and avoided questions, didn't answer the phone. Just awful. They redacted the original paperwork and changed wording once we found out there was no CO on the house. Luckily my lawyer caught the change. This explains why they avoided questions and communication. We worked with the owner, Matthew who is completely unprofessional and not forthcoming - a liar. If you see this company selling a home, RUN!

He stayed connected, maintaining contact with me. Our talks were informative, and he displayed patience with each conversation. I appreciated how flexible and cooperative he was. All these positive reviews on Zillow can't be wrong. I highly recommend The Bizzarro Agency for buying and selling your residence. A+

His resourcefulness helped me secure an apartment that was lower than my anticipated budget and was in great quality. I almost gave up looking (as NYC apartment hunting is hard) but Kirk kept on searching until the right spot emerged. Additionally, finalizing the deal was so smooth and transparent. He gave me all the necessary information and I was able to sign the lease in a matter of days. Thanks, Kirk, so much for your hardwork, kindness and unwavering dedication to your job. My boyfriend and I found a listing for a beautiful apartment in Harlem on StreetEasy. We reached out and was put in contact with Kirk. His responses were fast and he literally had us meet him the next day to show us the place. He ended up showing us 6 apartments in total. He was very professional and extremely down to earth. He gave us a little history lesson about Harlem and all the good bars in the area. We sent him our money for the approval application and in 2 weeks we had our new place. Everything was easy and handled very well. I've recommended him to two of my friends as well.

I met with Karen in management who was a top notch professional and sold me on the entire living experience at Lenox Terrace. I will be moving here! Hands down worth the money!

I was then informed there were no 1 or 2 bedroom units available. Ok cool, but there are in fact studio apartments available for 2200 a month. 1 bedrooms start at 2800 a month lol. I called to get information regarding the application I completed online via Lenox Terrace apartments website directly that gives the indication that completing the application would grant you access to apply and or move forward with a unit when it becomes available. I am informed by sterling that , that in fact is not the case and if you complete application online that's pretty much on you because you have to view a unit first before completing the application online. Once I started asking questions that made sense like why is that not indicated and or explained to anyone before completed the application and we give you $20 dollars for nothing? Sterling then explains to me that he understands that it's confusing and very unclear but that's pretty much just the way things are. I then ask Sterling who is in charge of the portal. You explaining this is not a resolve for people moving forward who will visit the website and complete the application thinking there is a list and or process after paying and completing the following application. Sterling then states Drew is the person in charge but he could not provide me his contact information and or email to provide feedback from my experience. Sterling then becomes frustrated that I am asking additional questions because I am clearly concerned about the information or lack thereof on Lenox Terrace Website and then Sterling says verbatim, "I do not have the time to discuss this with you I have other things to do and idk what to tell you. I hang up, in complete shock and disbelief that staff are allowed to speak to anyone in the manner I was spoken to. I do not recommend and I'm happy that I encounter this issue now instead of moving in and going through hell with someone who lacks basic customer service comprehension skills. Sterling needs to be placed on a PPR and should not be allowed to answer the phone until he exhibits better judgement in his tone and attitude when speaking to anyone!!! Whoever the owner is of this establishment you are going to loose business having a staff that does not know how to speak to people. "People may forget what you said and even what you did but they will never forget how you made them feel!!!"
