I'm leaving this Yelp review for Marlon and Mercer Real Estate because they not only helped me find the PERFECT apartment for a great price (after we had researched hundreds of apartments on our own for the past few weeks and failed to find anything we both liked), but he was also by far the best broker I've worked with and absolutely deserves 5 stars. Marlon and his team stand out from other brokers due to his exceptional versatility, responsiveness, and ability to understand your needs. I have worked with other good brokers, but Marlon is the only one I would actively recommend to friends because he consistently goes above and beyond. I am someone who always has too many questions and I often hold back from asking everything, but Marlon immediately and thoroughly answered all of my many questions no matter what time of day it was. I felt comfortable enough to ask away, and he was often perceptive enough to give us extra information even when I didn't ask, if it was relevant to our search. He even proactively filmed a video of the apartment we liked during the day so we could see how much sunlight it got, since we couldn't make it to the apartment in person during weekday work hours and didn't want to risk waiting until the weekend to make a decision. Marlon really cares about making all parties happy, and as a result, he felt more like a friend than a broker throughout the entire process. By the end of our apartment search, we were more than happy to pay the broker's fee, and Marlon has continued to stay in touch after we signed for the apartment to make sure we have everything we need. From our very first conversation, Marlon listened to my needs regarding what I was looking for in an apartment.
